Feeling Asian & quick before Yelp event this evening. Ordered dinner plate of Mongolian beef with onions over rice. Plate was cooked & plates in less than 5 minutes. No considered the normal dine in atmosphere, yet there are tables indoors for "hot n ready" consumption. The husband /wife team is always customer service friendly & cooking is phenomenal for all the senses. I highly recommend China Kitchen for another Asian persuasion cuisine experience. read more

Quick service! The cream cheese won tons are BOMB!!!! Mongolian beef is fantastic as well. Not the fanciest take out place but it really doesn't matter. Love this place! read more

Always loved great food. The food was the real highlight. Every dish came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The orange chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right balance of sweetness and tang, and the fried rice was loaded with ingredients--not dry or bland like you sometimes get elsewhere. You can tell they really care about quality and consistency. read more

I was so disappointed in this food. I got the orange chicken and the chicken pieces were so over fried , they were so tough and almost inedible. The orange sauce was also burnt, and had that old oil taste. The bbq pork was dry and tough. My husband said his kung pao shrimp was just ok. The Potstickers were at least decent. I really doubt I'll be back here, it just wasn't a good a good experience and I probably should have gone to Panda Express, but I wanted to give em a try. read more

Not good at all, I should've listened to the reviews. The flavor of the orange chicken was really gross. The steamed rice tastes weird and so does the "pan fried" noodles. Wish I could get my $12 back. The portion size is good for the price, if you could eat it. I should've taken the microwave sound as a sign that it wasn't going to be fresh. read more

I called in an order for pick up. I ordered chicken chow mein (Chinese style). The food was ready when I showed up to pick up my order. The food was still hot when I got home (10-15 minute drive). The chicken chow mein was really salty. I was hungry. I ate more than I wanted to . My wife tried the food. I didn't tell her that I thought it was salty. After a couple of fork loads she said, "Is this salty"? I agreed and we both put our forks down. I really hope I went in on a bad day. Highly doubt I will be back. read more

We like ordering from here. It's close to our house. I usually get the spicy beef or Mongolian beef. It's always good. It's a lot of food for a reasonable price. Good service too. read more

Terrible. All the good Chinese food in Fresno and this lousy restaurant is the closest one to us. The food is terrible and so is the service. Stay away! read more

The food is garbage. I don't know why we stopped here I think because it's close to our house the only one only a few blocks away. Our orange chicken was dark and drenched in the dark black stuff I'm assuming is their orange chicken sauce. They need to be closed they do not take their food serious here they are just serving as if they are serving their animals. Rice was so hard I thought it was undercooked but it was old. And I know old rice. The noodles were the only thing good from it. It was the only thing my daughter actually ate. I wouldn't even feed this to my dog. But we did pay for it. Never again, NOT RECOMMENDED read more

A go to for their family dinners never upsets. They're quick, friendly, and always provide a tasty meal.

The worst Chinese I ever had and only tried it because its on the nicer part of Fresno but apparently that doesn't matter! Plz if you're a foodie and know what good food is please and I repeat plz don't eat here!! No flavor extremely bland and just don't do it to your stomach!!!!!!!! read more

Burnt? Really? I ordered orange chicken and was told my food would be ready in 15 minutes. I came back in 10 minutes and was told my food was ready, yay, so I thought. I arrived all the way home and excited to watch my movie and enjoy my grub. Only to find out that my food was completely burned and the burned food was covered in orange sauce to cover up the burn. The food was inedible. I was very disappointed. I was actually looking forward to this. read more

Food was just okay. Not enough mix of vegetables in chop suey chow main. We ordered broccoli beef and it was more rice than entree

So let me just start off by saying if you're looking for good tasty quality Chinese food; don't come here. Our Kung POW chicken had more Kung POW than chicken, the sauce was thin watery, there was big pieces of bell peppers and onion lots of peanuts and hardly any chicken. My husband was so disappointed. The beef and broccoli had very little flavor, the sauce was also thin and watery like soup and the fried rice lol had no very little flavor as well and no egg, bacon, barely any peas or carrots. It was just the worse Chinese take out I've ever ordered. You're better off gettin panda or learning h to make these items yourself. The only thing we ordered that was good was the orange chicken and pan fried noodles. I will never waste my money or time on this place again. read more

Finally, decent Chinese Fude in the Fig Garden Loop area. Always had to go to Tower, Clovis, or S/E Fresno for my fix. Slightly pricey but it's tasty. read more

I ordered from this place through Uber eats. I was craving Chinese food and this was the place that Uber offered. I ordered the garlic chicken with noodles and the spicy orange chicken with rice. The garlic chicken was good. The servings were large and the food was fresh. The spicy chicken was SPICY! Like wow way too hot for me. My hubby liked it though. But I couldn't eat it. Not even the rice under was safe from the heat. Maybe next time I'll try something else or ask for the sauce on the side. read more

My family and I were very impressed by this restaurant. We ordered a little bit of everything and it was quality food at a reasonable price. I was particularly impressed with their vegetable chop suey chow mein. The vegetables were fresh, abundant and not overcooked. The noodles were great, too. They weren't greasy like some are. Overall, I'd say good food & great value. Food was prepared quickly, also. This is not a sit down joint. Only for take out. Very appropriate in these times! read more

Love the food! They're so kind and quick with the Service! I've been going there for years!!

By far the best food. Fast service and freshly made. Money worth. Been going to China kitchen for years.

I just had the worst dinner of my life from here last night. I was feeling undecided on what to order, so went with the "Family Special B" for $23, plus a side of steamed rice for $2.50. With tax, the total came out to 27.53. The family dinner included the following: "Paper Wrapped Chicken, Special Chow Mein, Fried Shrimp, Pork Fried Rice, Chinese Tea Bag, Sweet & Sour Chicken Wings, Fortune Cookies, Egg Roll" I don't even know where to begin. The rice (both the pork fried rice, and steamed rice) was so unbelievably dry and tasteless. The paper chicken were triangular foil packets with burnt dark chicken stuck inside. My adult son and I both agree that every single thing tasted awful! We will NEVER visit again, and DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. What a huge disappointment and waste of money. An expensive lesson learned. read more

Great Place for Chinese takeout. Wonderful Local Family operated Figarden Loop business! Food is delicious, economical and served in generous portions. I am always met with a friendly smile when picking up our orders. This place is well worth you giving it a try. Thanks for choosing to locate in our neighborhood! read more

Let's start with what stood out -it was only 8bucks for spicy chicken with rice and noodles -It was less then 10 minutes to be prepared -It was a very generous proportion Now let's on with the rest. -Very bland. Chicken really did not have much flavor to it. I had to add sriracha to give it any kick. -The whole meal was very oily. From the chicken to rice to noodles. Gave whole plate a slimy texture. - no mustard, chili, chop sticks or even a fortune cookie in the bag. I opened it to find one packet of soy sauce and the to go container It's not the best. It's not the worst. I might try other stuff. Only really would come back if I was not trying to drive farther than a block. Should of went to ding ho read more

China Kitchen - Spicy (not spicy) chicken plate - Chinese Near Me - Fresno, California

My first (and last) time eating here. I thought I'd give a new Chinese place a try. I did read the reviews first and was skeptical since it seems to have more than normal 1 and 2 stars but I threw caution to the wind. I gambled and lost. The food here was pretty awful. We got 2 entrees and 2 appetizers and nothing was good. Before today the worst Chinese food I ever had was just flavorless but this one went above and tasted bad. Like in wrong kind of bad. I got the almond chicken and it had this very weird off-tasting sauce that ruined it. It wasn't even edible. The egg rolls were the worst I ever had. The Pork Chow Mein had 4 pieces of pork. The only half edible thing was the potstickers. Maybe they do well in other dishes but not in the ones we ordered. read more

Got their house special chow mein and it was pretty good. Good meat and vegetables and noodles were good tasting. I've had a few Chinese places I've liked better but this was definitely one of the better ones. Rating is solely based on food quality. Really hit the spot after work today. read more

Love this place ! Great affordable Chinese food and highly recommend. Love the lunch special with fried shrimp !

This is my kind of Chinese take out. Besides a counter and a table with chairs you pretty much walk into the kitchen. They have some serious looking woks, everyone is Chinese, they speak Chinese and they aren't friendly at all....I tell ya I love it. I'm not there to be served I want my food to go and I'll take care of the rest. In a place like this it's all about the execution not the ambiance or the service. The menu is full of the Americanized Chinese dishes people seem to crave. We should rename most places to Amerinese. Everything is hot and fresh and they use good quality produce. What I don't like. I've been here many times and always get my dishes spicy. I tell them to kick it up, but they still think my sensitive white pallet can't take it. The last couple of times I've been there they've given me the heel of the bell pepper which was big and chunky and it didn't have the proper cut on it. I know they know better, they just don't think that I do. Water was added to early to the dish and lacked the "wok" flavor that I love. The portions are huge, two big eaters could share one plate. If I'm in the Fig loop area and I want take out this is where I'm headed. I wouldn't drive across town for it and don't expect a lot of authentic flavors, but they're better than a lot of places in this town. read more

When I first walked in the first thing I saw was a bunch of dirty pots and pans tossed throughout the kitchen after I looked down to realize that there were only children working and the oldest looking like he was 16 years old. there were no adults around! My food was ready within 10 minutes and All I can say is the 8 year old chef can really cook some good pan fry noodles with beef and broccoli. I forgot to mention the cashier needed a step stool to reach the cash register no joke read more

Been enjoying the takeout here for years. Delicious food that the whole family loves.

The worse meal I've had in a while. Teriyaki chicken was lacking in Teriyaki. Chicken was dry and lacking flavor. Spring rolls smelt of dirty oil and shaped like a deep fried burrito.
