My brother and I went there 6/28/26 at 2pm. Got the simple combo plate pork fried rice and pork chow mein and 2 fried shrimp. It just tasted terrible. The chow mein had slivers of cabbage on top as well as the bean sprouts. Flavor was bland. This used to be my favorite place as of about a yr ago. Something happened to them. The Chinese food here is probably the best I've had around in a while. The Chowmein you want is the Chinese style Chowmein, but it is pretty good. I've only ordered twice from here but both times were very enjoyable and they're fast. This is a hole in the wall that I quite enjoy. The sweet and sour pork is so crispy and delicious you just have to give it a try. I'm so excited to try more. read more

Quality of service is different depending on the year you visited. Between 2010-2020 was a lady who was straight to the point, no small talk. Some would take that as rude but that's just the way she operated. Fast forward to 2024 and you'll find the service is above and beyond. Courteous and considerate. Definitely appreciated. Interior space is small and only a couple of tables and a bench exist within their cramped space. I've not seen anybody eat here, but rather order for pick up. They do accept cash or card. I would drop by here for a simple lunch special that would have Pan-fried noodles with yummy veggies on top (my co-worker would call them "booger noodles" and give me hers,) pork fried rice, and your choice of protein, mine being the sweet and sour pork. I've also come to enjoy their Spicy Salt Pepper Baked Shrimp, which is to die for. (Oils destroy me soon after as well!) Lastly, we like to pick up their Broccoli Beef platter, which is filled to the brim. Make sure to transfer to another container as the styrofoam won't last. 5 out of 5. Overall, I'd give them a 4.2 out of 5. Just wished whatever oils they used in their fried items did not turn me sideways. read more

I was in the area and wanted to try a new Chinese restaurant. Went in had large menu, food style looked almost like the place we usually go to . Lady was pleasant and nice , her husband is the chef , ordered 2 broccoli chicken plates but spicy ! Went home and portion was a lot . Flavors were there , great tasting, will be my go to place from now on . My wife liked it very much as well , highly recommend this food to anyone trying a different Chinese restaurant. Husband and wife team and they held it down during the dinner rush! When my husband called and placed our order, he was told it will be ready in 20 minutes. Shortly after 20 mins., we arrive and the wait was another 20 mins. We weren't in a rush so it wasn't a big deal. The portion sizes are really big and we had left overs for lunch and dinner the next day. Our meal was very inexpensive as well. Everything was really good and tasty. We didn't care for the fried chicken though. It was flavorless and really dry. But definitely a place I would go back to. read more

My husband and I came here for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! We were greeted with a warm welcome from the owner Ms. Amy & Husband. The food was exceptional! Well seasoned , Piping hot & cooked to perfection ! We dined in and the service was perfect! Ms. Amy checked on us every couple of minuets and made sure to get us anything else we needed. It's very rare you will find a place that offers great hospitality and even better food. Ming Ho provides it all. If you drive past it and consider stopping by DO IT! You will not regret it. 8/12/23 Chicken Chow Fun with tofu added, made spicy ordered. The worker was kind and said it would be ready! I went in to get it. Greeted by a nice worker. The order was almost ready. Paid for the order and the worker was kind. It was almost ready. Definitely a pick up and go kind of place, but there is a couple tables if you want to sit and eat there. After a bit of a wait and she showed me and it looked really good! Not thick noodles like ordered, but there's a language barrier and I felt bad. Very nice and it still looks good. Plus, a lot of food! Lunch for tomorrow too! Lunchtime! We each had some. My portion was really delicious and had a nice, spicy kick! Really thick, delicious portions of tofu too! I called and asked if they would do a kung pao tofu because I saw they had tofu on the menu and man delicious and spicy and the veggies are cooked perfect and it's a very generous portion! Was my first time ordering from here. I ordered the Bean Cake with Beef. I have been looking for this dish since i first ate it in San Jose in the 70's. It was, vey tasty! A giant portion, could not eat all of it. Only complaint is there was too much bok choy in the dish. I hate bok choy! I picked it All out & its going in hub's compost pile outside. Lol .the beef was tender, you never know what to expect.and the dish had great flavor. The lady in the front of house was very nice & friendly. Pictures of all the dishes were on the wall. Giving a 2 star because the pot stickers were good. Ordered to go on DoorDash. I got the spicy beef plate over noodles (grey meat seemed undercooked and old) Girlfriend has BBQ pork and rice. Pork was decent just a little dry. Ended up tossing the grey beef and just eating veggies and noodles. Meat messed my stomach up a bit. Wouldn't recommend eating the meat from this place. If you go here expect food that is well worth the wait! My boyfriend and I wanted panda but didn't want to go out of our way and we found this little place instead. We waited about 45 min for our food and it was AMAZING!! What makes it even better is that we could see the cook preparing the food in the back for the orders. Freshly cutting veggies for each individual one! The woman who took our order so so friendly and kind :). Highly recommend checking it out! Just make sure you're ready to wait! I went to Ming ho years ago and wasn't happy with the food people had since told me it was better. I decided to try it again and came back and it was pretty decent for my side of town. Went again. Well that all changed when I got it the night before last. As I write this I have some of the worst food poisoning. I'm in so much pain. When you work at a restaurant if something seems off toss it. Don't make it for your customers and hope for the best. I had gotten a few things so I don't know what actually made me sick but that was my final time eating at Ming ho. I've seen a few people on social media post about this little hole in the wall so I decided to try it out for dinner tonight. I looked up the menu online and called in my order. Upon arrival, a super nice man took payment for my food and I waited about an extra 5 min to get my food. They're really fast. I was quoted 15-20 minutes and it was spot on timing. The nice man up front was super courteous. 5 star service from him! Unfortunately, when we got home and started to dig in, we decided that the food was just OK. The sprouts on the chow mein are yummy. It just lacked a bit of flavor. I added some soy sauce and chili oil to spruce up the flavor. It wouldn't be my very first choice for Chinese in Fresno but it was alright. I wouldn't mind giving it another shot and ordering something different next time. read more
