This is now one of my go-to Chinese take out. Located in the Southwest corner of First and Bullard, this place is fast and consistent. Try their beef rolls; they are my favorite. It has a curry flavor. I ordered for a party of 8 and didn't disappoint. BIG portion. I could've cut back two orders.

Mongolian beef, orange chicken and chow mein

Thick chow mein, could use more flavor also could be my own preference to my palate. Nice portion of veggies mixed in. Nice sized portion. Mongolian beef; nice decent slices, flavor is okay and veggies went perfectly well. Orange chicken; decent enough in texture and taste was mediocre. Service was quick. Didn't have to wait long approximately 5 mins with chicken and leaving with my food. The inside is blocked off with possibly one table to dine in; not sure if it was to dine in or wait for order. The room is closed off as when covid came everyone made their own separation and blocking off "dine in." They never came back from covid in regard to their dining area. Friendly service when ordered over the phone and when arrive for pick up. Overall good portion for the price, friendly, safe and would give it another try later down the road.

Heard good things so must try! ;)~ 1 Won Ton Soup and 1 Chicken Vegetable Soup ordered. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I went in to get it. Greeted by a nice worker and the order was ready. Small restaurant. Calm. Safe & clean. Paid for the order with well wishes! Lunchtime! Both soups split. Really great soups! Tasty won tons. Chicken cooked perfectly. Nice add with the shrimp. Fresh and tasty vegetables too! Perfect for this rainy day! Mother said hers was great! She said fresh veggies and a good amount of won tons! Good service and great soups! Highly recommended!

Honestly the best orange chicken in fresno. They make it fresh when u order. Love this place!

My family and I having been knowing about Win Wah since I was a little girl. I have actually dined here for a school trip when I was in the 5th grade. So I can tell you this place has been here for decades. This restaurant will always remind me of my childhood as I primarily grew up in this area. As an adult I really don't go over to that side of town due to work and family as it's in opposite side of town. This is a family owned business and the sweetest family you will meet! It is located by my childhood library Leo Politi that my dad took since I was a baby all the way until I was in high school. Every now and then we would get food from there. They even are supportive of special dietary restrictions and accommodating. The food is always flavorful and clean. I love bringing my niece here as she always has a blast playing with the families kids as my niece is such a social bunny that loves life! I highly recommend this place if you want to support a locally family owned business that will never disappoint you for years! Please give them a try as I know you won't be disappointed!

Very basic chicken and broccoli. Sauce was very mild. Chow mein was bland, not much flavor.

Over all good food the portion size is huge which makes this place a great value. Can feed 2-3 on one lunch specials.

The family dinner comes with a bowl of sizzling rice soup, An egg roll a pot sticker and foil wrapped chicken. My entree was crispy beef and my husband's entree was Kung pao chicken. Start off the soup was very flavorful, Definitely not your ordinary soup that you would find in the most places to start. The egg roll was a straight veggie roll but it was crispy and flavorful. The pot sticker was probably one of the best I've had in town, The wrapper was not too thick, Silky, Slightly crispy, And the filling was light and delicious not heavy. The Foil wrapped chicken Was different than any other place in that it was lighter and not overburdened with a salty sauce. As far as the entrees, My crispy beef was amazing, So crispy, With a delicious sauce. My husband's Kung pao chicken was so tasty, Everything was fresh and the chicken was not dry. The only downside to our entrees was that they were listed as spicy, But I think you have to ask for really spicy if you look like you can't handle it or something I don't know it just wasn't spicy at all. But we will definitely return and maybe ask for real spicy next time LOL.

I called them the day before I needed the trays. The lady I spoke to was so kind and accommodating she said it was never too late to place an order. I ordered half tray of broccoli beef and one veggie chow mein she gave me my price after tax and gave me the option to pay in person or over the phone. The day of pick up was NYE 5pm my husband was the one who picked up my order under my name. He arrived promptly at 5pm and said the food wasn't ready 5mins after 5pm he said he was about to leave. Literally a 16min drive from the restaurant to my house then another 14min drive to the Nye party we were attending. Upon arrival the food was still piping hot, it smelled AMAZING and they gave sooooo much food!!! It was nearly packed in trays with foil in a box and the food was piled high. I did notice that the veggie chow mein I had ordered was a combo-chicken, beef, shrimp and veggie, no biggie!!! But the food was delicious as always!!! There was so much leftovers. I would definitely use them again for my catering needs.

There is finally a reasonably priced Chinese take-out option in town that I actually like. The Mongolian Beef featured tender, flavorful slices of meat paired with crisp, plentiful vegetables. The sauce complemented the dish rather than overwhelming it, and it was not overly greasy. The Garlic Chicken was also good, coated in a savory, slightly sweet soy glaze. The meat was soft and perfectly cooked, again accompanied by fresh, crunchy vegetables. Many of the dishes here are authentically Cantonese-style: savory, built around fresh ingredients, lightly sauced, and never excessively oily. Portions are generous as well. This stands in stark contrast to many other Chinese take-out spots I have tried, where the food leans salty, oversauced, and made with cheaper ingredients -- and becomes practically inedible once it cools down. Judging by the simple décor and limited seating, it is clear this restaurant prioritizes cooking over ambiance. Most customers opt for take-out, which likely helps keep prices affordable. Service is warm and efficient. You are greeted as soon as you walk in, and staff members are ready with ordering help and suggestions. Most lunch plates are $10.25 and come with steamed rice or chow mein, or pork fried rice for an additional $2. Lunch plates are offered daily from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, including weekends. The menu covers a broad range of Cantonese and Szechuan favorites -- Kung Pao Chicken, Walnut Shrimp, General Tao Chicken, Szechuan Beef, chow mein, chow fun, plus several soups and fried rice options. Combination plates start at $12.90, and the family specials (three dishes for $41) are a solid value. All in all, it is a great spot for anyone craving affordable, satisfying Chinese food -- especially students and anyone on a tight budget.

We were greeted and seated right away and our drink orders were taken. Our server was very nice and friendly. The restaurant had a few other patrons there when we arrived, and there were a couple tables needing to be cleared. We ended up ordering two of the family dinners and an order of orange chicken. The appetizer with egg rolls and chicken wings was really good. We liked the pork fried rice. The pork chow mein had tons of bean sprouts on top of the noodles. Way more bean sprouts (which we don't care for) than pan fried noodles. I didn't really care for the orange chicken. The meat was a bit dry and the sauce was a bit too mild for my taste. We had good service throughout our meal, with check ins and drink refills. Lots of food and enough leftovers for two more dinners.

Didn't have high expectations since it was mid-dinner time and the entire dining room was empty. It looked run-down, but we noticed they were handling a lot of delivery and pickup orders, and the phone rang frequently. Service was good but somewhat slow; it seemed they prioritize online and phone orders. I ordered the Ginger Chicken, and the portions are huge. They also bring a small complimentary soup, and I believe they make the noodles from scratch in-house. The chicken had real slices of ginger and was very tasty. I'd go back again. Don't let the strange area or the weird ambiance stop you. The food is good. Just don't go in expecting perfection, and you'll enjoy it.
