I work at VA hospital and go here once a week. It is a short walk for me to pick up. I like the lunch combos but my current favorite is the Spicy Chicken with Steamed Rice. The owners of this place were very nice! I ordered broccoli chicken and the flavor was good, but the sauce was so thick it was like jelly. My husband ordered a combination plate with sweet and sour pork, and it came with 4 chunks of incredibly over cooked fried pork, he had a difficult time chewing. Egg rolls were okay. While I found this restaurant to be appealing and very clean. However... the food was very bland. I ordered beef and broccoli, and it seemed to come from a can. No flavor, lots of gravy, very little meat. The owners seem nice but very garded over napkins and items like sauce, etc. Over all very tasteless noodles, but orange chicken was good. Customer Service: 4 out of 5 The owners are so nice and inviting. They welcomed us warmly and was very attentive to our needs. We dined in and noticing that we needed more space the wife offered to move us to a bigger table with much of a complaint. Food: 4 out of 5 We ordered the Special Plate and Brandy Chicken Wings for App and let me say the wing are the BEST I have ever had!! They were so crispy and delicious. Even after sitting on the table for a while they still held their crispness. I loved how even after chewing them they continued to give you a crunch! I definitely recommend them. The won ton chips on the Special Plate Was also a great find! Should've order the full app for it. We also ordered the Jim's Special Fried Rice, Kung Pao Chicken and the Chicken Chop Suey Chow-mien with no veggie. The no veggies was not my choice but a friend. Everything was delicious. The Kung Pao Chicken was a bit different I will admit. I thought it was going to be like Panda's but I was wrong. It was still delicious but different. I would've wanted a ray of different color veggies but I'm not cooking it so I can't complain. Overall Experience Rating: 4 out of 5 I really enjoyed my experience there. I would definitely return. So I've never actually eaten here before and just had this craving for something with shrimp and sizzling rice soup. Most places today weren't open so I decided why not try a new place. I called and ordered the garlic shrimp and sizzling rice soup. The sizzling rice soup came in a large cup there were little shrimps, peas, carrots, water chestnuts, and some meat with a little fat on them all chopped into the soup. The broth itself is different from the normal sizzling rice soup and I definitely loved it. Can't forget to top it off with the rice. The garlic shrimp I was thinking would be more like crispy garlic shrimp, but it was quite delicious. It came with a thick gravy, a mixture of broccoli, carrots, water chestnuts, and onion of course with shrimp. The couple that owns the restaurant were really friendly and grateful that I ordered; I think they just reopened given all the covid restrictions. Definitely a nice little restaurant and couple. read more

This is the worse place I've eaten Chinese food. The food was horrible beef Chow mein was like soup noodles too soggy. Mongolian beef was soupy as well. Shrimp fried rice no vegetables barley any shrimp. Would not recommend this place to no one read more

The pork chop suey chow mein (extra crispy noodles) is SO GOOD! The lunch plate is $6.50 and comes with the chow mein, pork fried rice, 2 fried shrimp and a spring roll. Everything is a ways piping hot, ready within 15 mins and delicious! You can cal to order on your way, and when you pull up, it's ready! Parking during the lunch hour can be a struggle because of it's parking lot neighbor, but it's not a deterrent. You get a lot of food for a great price. 2 people could easily share a plate and be satisfied with the portion. The husband and wife team are extremely sweet and they're even Apple Pay ready, so payment is convenient as well. If we're in the mood for Chinese food, this is our first stop! read more

Very friendly staff greeted us as soon as we walked in, and it wasn't long after we ordered that we started getting our food. My mom ordered chicken chow mein, which had a great flavor; my husband ordered a combo plate of Mongolian beef, rice, and chow mein. The beef was tender, and the seasoning wasn't over the top. And I ordered the Chinese chicken salad, and potstickers which were both amazing! We'd definitely come here again. It really satisfied our Chinese food craving! read more

"Hi, how are you?!?!?!" That's what I heard every time as I walked in for my orange chicken fix. Is Jim the name of the owner? I don't know. I just don't see a "Hello! My name is: Jim" written on a name tag when he goes to public events. Both owners are such nice people! I wish their hospitality was somehow infused with their meals to ensure my stomach would enjoy the food's stay (yeah, that's foreshadowing). So I'm gonna have to take it easy on the mom and pop-run chinese restaurant. I really enjoyed all those days leaving FCC for their orange chicken with fried rice/noodle. My friend and I were addicted to this place for years. Seriously, like high school ditch day addiction status. I definitely have a history with this place, and on my last day, this place became just that. Like they always say, all good things must come to an end. So I'm gonna stop going on this ambiguous rant and just cut to the chase. Jim's orange chicken gave me the worst food poisoning in my entire life. I was sick for over 24 hours, 8 of which were spent rushing from the bed to my face-covered toilet to vomit nothing but air. It was truly an excruciating experience. It was one of those things where you think to yourself as it's happening, "someone kill me now," or "I'll be sure to leave a gun nearby so that next time I go through this I'll just do it myself." It was THAT bad. I hope what I said in this review doesn't turn anyone away from at least trying this place out, because I really enjoyed all the times I spent here with my friends eating their orange chicken. I mean, this type of thing happens at even the most classiest of restaurants, right?! It was probably just a one-time thing. I just don't have it in me to risk it again. I was tired of the lines at Sam's so me and a co-worker tried this place for lunch. I don't want to be hyperbolic by saying it's the worst Chinese food in the world so I will say it's the worst I've been to in memory. I don't remember what I ordered, but it wouldn't matter since they put a nasty brown gravy sauce thing over everything which makes all the dishes mushy and gross. Went there and ordered spicy shimp and egg rolls, place is a hole in the wall with old chairs and tables, if you don't mind that then fine. It was around 5:30PM and I was the only one in there so my order was done fast. The shrimp was good but the egg rolls were a little greasy, overall the food was average. read more

I love this place, I get takeout here about once a week for the past several years. The food is good and the prices are cheap. The place is run by a husband and wife, a real family place, they are very nice and friendly when taking your order, they do all the cooking themselves, so the dishes are always consistent in flavor.
