Sometimes you can't just eat anything. Just left & what I got is not only disgusting it wasn't worth the money. My "orange chicken " didn't taste nothing like orange chicken the batter wasn't good & the sauce tasted like prune juice. Well when we walked in the atmosphere was that of a dated but cute 1980s hole in the wall, which inspired confidence but it was all down hill from there. We waited 15 minutes to have our order taken, when the food came it was... well, the best part of the meal was probably the fortune cookie. The pan fried noodles were completely stiff and almost stale and tasted of old oil, the princess chicken had a very strange taste to it but was reasonably serviceable. My mom had the lemon chicken and it tasted like a lemon bar donut and was thickly battered. When we sent back the noodles we were charged a substitution fee and the chow fun noodles they brought out instead were completely plain as well, and just completely joyless. 12/10/24 Getting lunch! Crab & Cheese won tons and veggie tofu chicken shrimp chow fun ordered. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in about 20 minutes. I went to get it shortly later. They have a room off to the side from the restaurant that's only for to-go orders. Convenient! Greeted by kind worker, let her know my name and order was ready. Paid for it and it sad handed over with a smile. Oh no! Get back to apartment and we received the wrong order. Really disappointing. No tofu and beef. Called to let them know. Go get fresh odder and, at least worker apologized. Lunchtime! Crab & Cheese won tons were Really Good! DELICIOUS! Sweet sauce making it even better! Veggie tofu chicken shrimp chow fun was Great! Very tasty and good amount of all. Mother felt the same. Finished with a fortune cookie too! Good treat! Lots of leftovers! Another meal for both! I took away a star for having to go back. I love this restaurant. Especially their potstickers! I seen this guy play with his phone while having on gloves he used to manage food with. There is a reason gloves are to be worn! I come here pretty frequently. Today was extremely awful. The older lady with glasses told us to sit wherever which was great, it's my sons birthday and he was so happy to be out with our family. so since we were a group of 5 we decided to sit at the round table that had 8 chairs, then she says not here and then says it ok. Which wasn't a big deal but then as I'm ordering my daughter was holding the spoon and she yanked it out of her hand!! My children are older and behaved theyre 10 years, 12, & 17 years old. I wasn't even finished ordering which we ordered soups. She then shorted us a plate to serve and never came back to check on us only to give the tab to pay. Then I as I go to the restroom it so filthy ts never like that. So gross!! I will NEVER come back again! read more

Was pleasantly surprised at how cute the interior was! We were seated right away and our server was sure to check up on us. Here's what I got & here's what I thought: Chicken Teriyaki: Unfortunately I'm a picky eater and am not a fan of dark meat, which is what my chicken teriyaki was. The sauce also wasn't my favorite, but it had a good thickness to it and a good amount was provided in its own little bowl on the side. The veggies were cooked well but not seasoned; all I did was add a little salt and they were perfect. (Comes with egg drop soup): SO GOOD! Unfortunately towards the end of our visit, service was extremely slow. We waited about 20 minutes for the bill, and another 7 for it to get back to us. Overall, the workers are extremely welcoming but maybe a bit too busy to keep an eye on all the people inside the restaurant. My family enjoyed their food, and a lot of people were ordering takeout instead of dine-in so maybe that was a more popular option! read more

The menu is big. Everything I have had from here is good. Highly recommend the chow mein and broccoli beef.

Their Vegetable fried rice was disgusting, way too salty. The vegetables were straight out the frozen pack that were huge pieces not cut up. $13 wasted. My silverware could've been cleaner... If you hate being scammed do not come to restaurants like this, sorry to say! read more

Very easy pick up or dine in chineese food restaurant. If you want to order ahead or order at the restaurant they have a separate entry for you which makes it super easy to get in and out . Also if you want to eat at the location the to go door helps keep your dining experience pleasant because you don't have people walking in and out getting to go food. The prices are about the same as everywhere else in town but the food tastes great. This is not my usual stop but when I am on this side of town this is where I go. read more

We went in for dinner about 6:30 and the restaurant was not very busy. We walked in the door and waited by the menu stand. The two waitresses working the dining room could not be bothered to acknowledge us. We were extremely obvious standing up where we were. It is totally understandable if they were busy delivering food to the few occupied tables, but all that was needed was a friendly "be with you in a few minutes". We walked out and went over to PF Chang's, waited about 10 minutes for a table and had a great dinner. Terrible customer service. read more

We absolutely love China Restaurant. I'm a big Asian food fan and went to the same Chinese restaurant since i was a little girl. Unfortunately during covid they shut down and my husband recommended we try China restaurant as i was looking for a certain style of Chinese food. (It's all different you know?) I went in with low expectations (i had had bad luck up to this point at other places) but they changed that almost immediately. To begin with their customer service is 5 stars. I have a peanut allergy and they easily and always accommodate that for me. My go to is always the pork chowmein and crab ragoons. We ordered from DoorDash one time and they had messed up the order (DoorDash not the restaurant) and they were kind enough to fix it for us and gave me some extra ragoons! I hear they've been here for a very long time and I can see why. We will be moving out of town shortly and I'm sad I won't get to eat at my favorite Chinese restaurant anymore. If you're looking for a good Chinese spot this is definitely a must try!!! read more

This place is just ok now. I've come here for years, it's always been cheap and tasty. They still have fast no frills service, they will get you in and out in the lunch hour. But, the last two times I've come, including today, the food has been pretty bland. And sometimes the flavors are just off. For instance my orange chicken has way too much vinegar in the sauce. Bleh. First time trying this restaurant, as soon as we were sited waitress was rude and rushed us to order we had a couple suggestions to make on our plates and stated "ooo you guys are complicated". Food did not take long to come out and when it did it did not look appetizing it was a large amount of food I might say, but it was not great at all! The noodles were old, slimy,and drenched in oil, the shrimp were drowned in oil as well. We also order pork and it looked old tatsed greasy and hard. When we went to pay there was young girl at cashier and when I signed receipt I did not tip because customer service was not great and neither was food, when I handed receipt back she gave us a ugly look because we did not tip. One of the very first Chinese restaurants that I've gone too ever since I moved to Fresno back in 1999. Years back they have been up one of the better restaurants in my opinion, since then, others have showed up and they quite couldn't quite keep up with the times as far as food quality goes. They do have the convenience of having a separate "To Go" area towards the side of the restaurant versus walking in the main entrance but I felt they fell behind as a restaurant. So we just walked out of this restaurant we have loved for several years. First my soup spoon came with lipstick on it. Ok... that happens sometimes, something gets missed when washing. Then a roach crawled up the seat behind my husbands head. And it was the dirty kind of roach, not the big Carpenter roaches. Not that any roach is ok. But still, we thought... ok... sometimes that happens. Then our food comes and we get about 5 bites in and my husband says "stop eating. We are going to pay and leave quietly". He was so grossed out and he just wanted out. Once we got in the car he told me he saw a mouse run into the kitchen. We are not clean freaks but that was just WAY too much!!
