Put on hold for a while...almost 8 minutes and my mother was not happy with that. Called them again and it went to voicemail. Then, called again and asked to be put on hold. My mother said no and that she was on hold, got hunk up on and wanted to order. The worker told her to go ahead and order. She ordered 2 spicy chicken meals. Both with the jalapeño bacon Mac N Cheese and potato salad. The worker said it would be ready in 10 minutes. We went to get it. It's in a cute little house. We waited in line. They moved really slow. The worker apologized for the wait. The restaurant is nice. Clean and safe. They have inside and outside seating to enjoy the food. Luckily, the order was ready and handed over in their cute bag. I've been waiting to try this local BBQ spot since they advertised their upcoming grand opening. Finally got my chance last Friday. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, big BBQ tri-tip meal with the jalapeño Mac and Cheese and the apple slaw for sides. The pulled pork was a hefty delicious sandwich. Plenty of pulled pork. The tri-tip was extremely tender with the perfect smoky flavor. It came with a grilled 6" roll and was very filling. The jalapeño Mac and cheese was very good and it definitely is my new go to side. The meat was tasty and the slaw gave it a little sweetness and crunch. Super yummy. The jalapeno mac was creamy with a little bit of spice. I added my chicken to it...I think I've created a food master piece lol I suggest they create that on their menu. Cobbler was just as yummy as everything else. Did I mention they have Pepsi!? Best quesadilla I've ever eaten. The creamy apple slaw was a perfect blend of sweet sauce between cabbage, carrots and apple. We also had a perfectly cooked white meat chicken sandwich, with BBQ sauce, which was exceptionally good. All the meat was melt in your mouth tender, with the just the right amount of smokey flavor. My family was in the area and spotted this restaurant. A party of 5. I Immediately noticed how clean and open the area was. The host was very professional, polite and friendly. We had a large order. The wait wasn't long at all. My goodness the food was awesome! Ribs, hot links, potato salad, beans, etc. I would give them a 10. If you haven't gone there ..you don't know what you're missing. As we were leaving I gave the chef a thumbs up and said we'll be back. He mentioned that the ribs, etc., Is cooked daily. Not surprised because the food was fresh!! read more

Decided to stop in chowchilla on our way home and I'm glad we did! Had some delicious homemade bbq. I would definitely recommend the pulled pork and tri-tip sandwich. What a great addition to the little town of Chowchilla! Cute as the day is long. Looks like a place you might find in Georgia where I used to live. The prices are firm but the value is good because the food is bomb. Brisket sandwich with slaw, caramelized onions & spicy BBQ sauce with pickled slaw and chili and a pickle. Spicy, tender and yummy.
