Went there for breakfast this morning. Took 9 minutes for car in front of us to order, tboughtcit was a big order, but then noticed the car at the window hadn't moved yet either. Finally got to speaker and placed a simple order. 2 breakfast burritos, 2 criss cut fries since they didn't have tater tots, Told they were out of medium cups and tater tots. I had not eaten here for maybe ten years and will not make that mistake again my fries and onion rings were cold. My burger and hot dog were cold not to mention the hotdog was not even fully cooked. My eight pieces of zucchini were hot but by the time the other food was returned and warmed the zucchini had cooled. I also asked for a lot of mustard and salt. I got two packets of mustard , no salt and about 10 packets of catsup. I also do not get the reason for the 10 minute wait in the drive thru just to get cold food. I will never be going back. The frustration mounds with the drive thru windows of Carl's Jr. as the government now increases the pay to $22.00 per hour for fast food workers, we the general public must endure price increases for less the minimum wage service. As I requested a dipping sauce for my order of breaded zucchini, I was told they were out of ranch, but I was offered "house" dressing instead. I accepted the substitution because that's life in the US right now. "We are out." O went through the window service assured that my order was correct to the tune of $18+. I went on my way only to find out there was no such dipping sauce in the bag. I called and spoke to the manager, when she promptly asked, "are you sure you don't have any sauce and did you ask for the sauce?" When I explained I was told they were out of ranch, but only had "house sauce" she said, "Yep, that's correct." She told me I could come back and they would gladly hand me a dipping sauce. As a typical fast food worker/manager would say. When I reminder her that has was nearly $6.00 per gallon and it didn't seem reasonable to make the trip back for a dipping sauce which cost pennies. Worst location ever. I don't mind a long wait because the food is cooked when you order, however, every time I would go, they would "ran out ranch". The first time I went they said there was a "ranch shortage", the second time, "ran out ranch completely. The final time I went, they miraculously had ranch, however, when I asked for a second ranch they said we only allow one ranch per customer because we run out all the time. I offered to pay for the second ranch and she once again repeated the same thing. I have literally never been to a Carl's Jr. that runs out of ranch or can only give one out. This location sucks. I've never been more disgusted by fast food in my life. My entire family, including myself, contracted e. coli from eating burgers from here last year. If you're not familiar with it, e. Coli is something contracted by eating food that has feces or fecal particles somewhere on it. That means these employees likely don't wash their hands. Great, friendly fast service. Quick with the orders and on point with customer service. Very patient (we had a large group) when takin our orders. Not to mention, the venue is very clean and modern. They have AC so it's nice and cool especially since Chowchilla is a hot, humid town. AND they bring the food to our tables. Not only do they add this service, when they brought the food the lady was very friendly asking us if we want more sauce with our food. Super plus. Since there's really no place for a good burger in this town. This would be in my opinion the best spot for a decent burger. I usually order the usual #2 which in my opinion is the best burger off the menu. I recently went the other day and was pleased that they had brought back those delicious jalapeno poppers. Those things are so delicious especially when you order them fresh from the fryer. I give it a 3 star because the staff could be more friendly and the service is usually very slow but if your looking for a decent burger anytime of day or night since this place is open 24/7. I ordered a nine piece chicken stars and ask for some bbq sauce, the hispanic cashier (name was not written on receipt) would not give me any because he stated they were running low. Explained he didn't give me any and didn't mention there was no bbq sauce while I ordered. No signs up regarding sauces. This review is based on the great customer service and the food we received was good too when it comes to fast food, lol. We were visiting from San Diego and didn't get to our hotel until midnight and we were hungry. I thought I was just going to sit a minute to read my email and get a drink, but I spotted the Beyond Burger sign on the door. Yay! There was no Chipotle for 23 miles. I am currently in the drive thru and they said the "green burrito" is closed, even though the sign clearly states it closes at 2 am. It is currently 12:24 am. So.......they got two stars because I'm feeling generous and I like this paramore song, but they are so incredibly slow I am not entirely sure what is happening inside the restaurant...besides it's obviously them not making anything from green burrito because apparently it closes here substantially earlier than 2 am. Perhaps I'm on a weird twilight zone where I lost an hour an a half. Well, your drive thru window said to "yelp you" so I did, don't false advertise and take as long as brain surgery and you would have gotten more stars.
