If you go buy a tri tip to cook at home, it'll be around $30 for one roast. Brisket is even higher. Then consider the process to smoke it can take half a day or more. MTJTT isn't cheap, but it's not a rip off. It's a fair price for what you're getting. The location is good, close to everything in the city, but off on a side street, so it's more peaceful without having to drive forever to get there. I've been there a couple times now on triple-digit days, and there's always a nice comfortable breeze in the covered area. I hope they catch on, and expand. I'm a huge fan!
