Stopped in here for a late lunch on the way home from the bay. The clerk taking orders was nee and a little confused, but friendly and got it sorted out. The prices were decent. I ordered the chicken strip plate #28 and the Mr. Got bacon burger of some variety. It all came out to about $21. Not bad. The seating area is where they lost a star for me. The seats/tables were dirty and the chairs/booths and tables were all at odd angles ro each other. On the whole a smallish thing..but still. Here is where I remind yall I live life with a service dog. This place gets 4 paws up. No issues with access or places to tuck. The food came after a reasonable wt. Oh, my. my chicken strips were snatched right off a raptor! They were huge! They are very thin though. They were cooked perfectly and the crinkle fries were delicious. Stopped by Frosty Queen on the way back from Shaver Lake and honestly it hit the spot after a long day outdoors. The burgers were super satisfying, the fries were crispy, and the milkshake was really good. Definitely has that old-school roadside burger stand vibe. Service was friendly and food came out pretty fast too. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the place felt a little dated, but overall a great stop on the drive back. Also asked for ketchup & hot sauce at the window and the worker had no problem getting that to add it. Bagged it and handed over with good day wishes!! Lunchtime! We were in the area and the kids wanted burgers so we thought we would try out this spot. We were immediately greeted by a friendly staff member asking if we were ready. We decided on the family deal that includes 4 burgers, 4 large fries and 4 drinks for $34.99. We added a Jr burger, fried zucchini, and cheese sticks. I gave them all the stars based on the expectations of a road side burger joint. Not to compare with gourmet or specialty burgers or home made zucchini or cheese sticks. Everything was freshly made and we didn't have to wait long. The patties were a good size, too. Overall, it was a good value for the cost for the 5 of us. I LOVE Frosty Queen! The food is amazing AF and they are fast. It can be crazy when it's crowded, but ends up being worth it for the fresh delicious food you receive. I always leave this place full and content. The prices also make me and my wallet happy!!! My favs to order are hot wings baskets, shrimp baskets, spicy chicken sandwiches, Philly cheese chicken sandwiches, and let's not forget the delicious candy blasts!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about this!!! As far as staff, just depends on who is working. The service was terrible. I work with adults with disabilities and witnessed the cooks talking to one of my clients as if he were a child, even though he was paying customer. When I confronted one of the employees about the cooks' behavior, they refused to address it. If you have any type of disability, I strongly advise against visiting this establishment. The only reason I go is because my wife likes It Everytime I go the burgers are unseasoned and tastes like boiled meat I asked them to please put some salt or something on the meat and they charged me for seasoning? We passed by twice during our recent trip to the Sierras: one the way up and on the way back! Why go anywhere else? It is perfectly situated close to the HWY 99 entrance and exit on the way to and from HWY 145. Ordered the single bacon burger with cheese, cheese fries, and a milk shake. Food was flavorful and better than I expected being it my first time at the restaurant. My only issue was the service, otherwise I would have given 4 stars. I wasn't greeted when it was my turn to order (I was only picking up an online order). The employee finished the transaction before me, turned, walked away, and never came back. I went to the pick up window where three employees were to get help and no eye contact from anyone. Someone from behind the food rack looked and then looked away. 5 mins later, someone came to ask if I needed help. After letting her know that I was there picking up an online order, she walked away and did not come back. 3 mins later, another employee came to ask what I needed. When I showed my receipt, my order was on the counter behind her which has been there the entire time.
