While driving down to San Diego last week, we wanted lunch soon after getting south of the Bay Area. I yelped "diner" and Blue Flame was our choice. The food was great here and service could not have been better. I had a bacon cheese burger and fries and it hit the spot perfectly. My wife had a BLT and soup of the day and enjoyed both plus we shared Buffalo wings, also fantastic. And their strawberry lemonade was the best ever. We traveled from Sacramento to Bear Mountain near Squaw Valley to Mendota Pool and as we were headed to Sack Dam we decided to have lunch in Firebaugh and read the reviews for the Blue Flame Diner. If you are looking for a great burger, then this is the place. All three of us had burgers and all of us agreed they were absolutely fantastic! Everything about the burgers was fantastic and they satisfied the heartiest of palates. We also had the onion rings and they were fresh, hot and crispy. This was our first time trying Blue Flame. The atmosphere was very nice. It was a really nice and clean setup. We were greeted and served by Krystal. She's a sweetheart and would check on us often to make sure we had drinks and everything we needed. The food was really good and at a good price. It's definitely delicious and something different from all of the other eateries in the area. The pancakes were so good! So, our 3rd time here- each time we have loved the food, the comfortable atmosphere, and the tops is our server, Krystal. We've picked a different meal each time, and each time our hopes were met! It hasn't taken long to get our order, even when we had a party of 9. The most important thing to me, though, is their willingness to help with the food allergies we deal with.
