Wonderful food, decor and comfort of the torn benches could be better. Also, the toilet seat is always broken.

The Big O'l cheeseburger is the best. Greet specials all the time. Great service. Enjoy eating here.

When making the reservation, i made a note that it was our anniversary! When we arrived and checked in, the hostess acknowledged our anniversary, as did our server! Very hospitable that they acknowledged it, as some other places don't. The food has been great both times and the portions are generous! Some high end places get a little skimpy, especially with the sides. Not here! This time around, I ordered the Prime Rib, got the whipped potatoes and substituted the Brussels sprouts. Both were generous portions. Also love the added touch that they'll give you fresh horseradish to go along with the horseradish cream for a little extra kick. My wife had the Ribeye, which we've both ordered before, and it's delicious. She ordered the cashew green beans, but they were very saucy and some were burnt. When brought up to the server, she said she would have the kitchen make her a fresh ordered without hesitation. Within a few minutes, a nice sized portion of fresh Cashew Green Beans arrived! The Wedge Salad is also delicious and generously portioned. It could actually be a meal for someone, if so inclined. The atmosphere is also very welcoming and private. We've sat inside and on the patio, and actually preferred the patio seating! I can't say enough about the hospitality of the staff though. There's a gentleman who is either the lead host or a manager, that's been there both times. He takes a personal interest in the customers and makes sure to visit each table, which you don't often see. As we were walking out, he was also walking out behind us. Even though we were a few steps ahead, he wished us (again) a happy anniversary and to have a great night! This is a special place in Fresno and a great choice for a special occasion. Note: Food was so good I forgot to take pictures

Having spent some time in Palo Alto, my way of eating out has definitely changed. Add to that the…read moreprivilege and luxury of going to dinner with my mom, my wife, and my two sisters, all of whom I can always count on to not finish their meals, and let's just say... yes, I ended up eating all of this food, even if I didn't technically order it. LOL. We started with the SURF & TURF appetizer, and it was absolutely delicious. The moment I tasted the ponzu sauce, I already knew I had a plan because I had spotted Bacon Fried Rice on the menu. I immediately thought: "That ponzu sauce over bacon fried rice would be incredible." We also ordered the CALAMARI STRIPS with chipotle aioli, and they were amazing. Crispy, flavorful, and the aioli took them to another level. Next, I ordered the house salad with champagne vinaigrette, and let me tell you something right now: I plan to stop by once a week just to buy that vinaigrette. It is THAT good. Then everyone's meals arrived, and I noticed my master plan was working perfectly because there were two pieces of steak and shrimp ponzu left over. So naturally, I ordered the bacon fried rice. When it came out, everyone at the table started laughing because they knew EXACTLY what I was about to do. I combined the steak and shrimp with the bacon fried rice and poured every last drop of ponzu sauce over the top. DELICIOUS!!!! At this point, everyone started slowing down, which in my family means: "Send all leftovers to Sebastian." LOL. The Miso Glazed Black Cod was the best cod I have ever tasted. Then came the LL Prime Rib, it was so tender I could cut it with my fork. Bold, smoky flavor throughout. I'm sorry, but I have to say it... it was even better than the prime rib at Richard's in Fresno. And finally... the Bread Pudding. WHOEVER thought of using baklava to make bread pudding is a genius. I've had plenty of bread pudding, but NOTHING compares to this dessert. The flavor simply cannot be matched. Honestly, it's even better than Cracked Pepper's. Yes, I said it!!! Last but definitely not least, I have to give a shout out to the best server in town: Siena. Nothing elevates a dining experience more than exceptional service; Siena not only provided amazing service, but her warm smile and genuine concern for our dining experience made our Mother's Day dinner absolutely perfect. Thank you, Siena. You are the best!!!!

We had a group of 15 people that we made reservations for on a Sunday at 530pm. It was fairly busy but they got us in right away. We sat in the inclosed patio area. It was a hot day in July so even with the fans and misters it was warm, not too uncomfortable but warm enough our drinks got warm and the ice melted fast..... also the flies were annoying. Our server Tyler was awesome. Totally on top of things, checking on us regularly and very attentive to everyone's requests. most everyone ordered steaks, some with shrimp and some with lobster. Most everyone's steak came overcooked from the temperature they requested... but not enough to complain. One person decided to send theres back and the new one was perfect. We ordered several different appetizers which were all excellent.... I tried some of each one! We ordered the steak bites, Calamari strips, bread, and Brussel sprouts. Everyone ordered different deserts and seemed to enjoy them. I only tried the Beignets and they were really good! Served warm with a dusting of powdered sugar, sides of chocolate and carmel to dip in, and fresh strawberries and blueberries. Drinks were great. I had the espresso martini, several people ordered old fashions, and a few got bottled beer. Overall it was a nice dinner with very attentive service.

We started with the deviled eggs, which were yummy, and our cocktails definitely had a nice heavy pour. We split the French dip, and the meat was tender and flavorful. That is exactly what happened during my recent dinner at Elderberry House. I visited with a group of four, and between us, we had two gluten-free diners and one vegetarian. After a quick heads-up the day before, the restaurant handled our needs with total ease. We went for the five-course tasting menu, and it was incredible from start to finish. We kicked things off with one of the best oysters I have ever had, followed by a beautiful tuna presentation. The kitchen even looked out for our gluten-free friends with a special version of their herbal-butter focaccia that was actually delicious. By the time the main courses arrived, I honestly could not decide if I liked my beef or my friend's snap pea risotto better; every single bite was pure perfection. The cocktails were another high point. My first drink was great, but after chatting with our server, Jordan, I decided to try the Last Word. It featured that hard-to-find green chartreuse, and I am a little annoyed to report that I have a new favorite cocktail that requires such a rare ingredient. The service is what really made the night so special. Jordan was so charismatic and helpful, making sure we were perfectly taken care of all evening. He was so good that I almost worried a second visit would not be the same without him, though the rest of the staff quickly put that fear to rest. Abby was so friendly and responsible for a truly unique but perfect-for-the-vibe playlist, and Chris the mixologist even stopped by to geek out about gin and cocktails with us. From the genuine care for our food sensitivities to the clever touch of the iPad check-in hidden in an elegant binder, it was a night for the books. I cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to bringing my family next!
