Wonderful food, decor and comfort of the torn benches could be better. Also, the toilet seat is always broken.

When making the reservation, i made a note that it was our anniversary! When we arrived and checked in, the hostess acknowledged our anniversary, as did our server! Very hospitable that they acknowledged it, as some other places don't. The food has been great both times and the portions are generous! Some high end places get a little skimpy, especially with the sides. Not here! This time around, I ordered the Prime Rib, got the whipped potatoes and substituted the Brussels sprouts. Both were generous portions. Also love the added touch that they'll give you fresh horseradish to go along with the horseradish cream for a little extra kick. My wife had the Ribeye, which we've both ordered before, and it's delicious. She ordered the cashew green beans, but they were very saucy and some were burnt. When brought up to the server, she said she would have the kitchen make her a fresh ordered without hesitation. Within a few minutes, a nice sized portion of fresh Cashew Green Beans arrived! The Wedge Salad is also delicious and generously portioned. It could actually be a meal for someone, if so inclined. The atmosphere is also very welcoming and private. We've sat inside and on the patio, and actually preferred the patio seating! I can't say enough about the hospitality of the staff though. There's a gentleman who is either the lead host or a manager, that's been there both times. He takes a personal interest in the customers and makes sure to visit each table, which you don't often see. As we were walking out, he was also walking out behind us. Even though we were a few steps ahead, he wished us (again) a happy anniversary and to have a great night! This is a special place in Fresno and a great choice for a special occasion. Note: Food was so good I forgot to take pictures

The bread was super crunchy while the seafood was really favorable (I now can't remember what dead food it has). My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was really good. We had a group of 15 people that we made reservations for on a Sunday at 530pm. It was fairly busy but they got us in right away. We sat in the inclosed patio area. It was a hot day in July so even with the fans and misters it was warm, not too uncomfortable but warm enough our drinks got warm and the ice melted fast..... also the flies were annoying. Our server Tyler was awesome. Totally on top of things, checking on us regularly and very attentive to everyone's requests. most everyone ordered steaks, some with shrimp and some with lobster. Most everyone's steak came overcooked from the temperature they requested... but not enough to complain. One person decided to send theres back and the new one was perfect. We ordered several different appetizers which were all excellent.... I tried some of each one! We ordered the steak bites, Calamari strips, bread, and Brussel sprouts. Everyone ordered different deserts and seemed to enjoy them. I only tried the Beignets and they were really good! Served warm with a dusting of powdered sugar, sides of chocolate and carmel to dip in, and fresh strawberries and blueberries. Drinks were great. I had the espresso martini, several people ordered old fashions, and a few got bottled beer. Overall it was a nice dinner with very attentive service.

That is exactly what happened during my recent dinner at Elderberry House. I visited with a group of four, and between us, we had two gluten-free diners and one vegetarian. After a quick heads-up the day before, the restaurant handled our needs with total ease. We went for the five-course tasting menu, and it was incredible from start to finish. We kicked things off with one of the best oysters I have ever had, followed by a beautiful tuna presentation. The kitchen even looked out for our gluten-free friends with a special version of their herbal-butter focaccia that was actually delicious. By the time the main courses arrived, I honestly could not decide if I liked my beef or my friend's snap pea risotto better; every single bite was pure perfection. The cocktails were another high point. My first drink was great, but after chatting with our server, Jordan, I decided to try the Last Word. It featured that hard-to-find green chartreuse, and I am a little annoyed to report that I have a new favorite cocktail that requires such a rare ingredient. The service is what really made the night so special. Jordan was so charismatic and helpful, making sure we were perfectly taken care of all evening. He was so good that I almost worried a second visit would not be the same without him, though the rest of the staff quickly put that fear to rest. Abby was so friendly and responsible for a truly unique but perfect-for-the-vibe playlist, and Chris the mixologist even stopped by to geek out about gin and cocktails with us. From the genuine care for our food sensitivities to the clever touch of the iPad check-in hidden in an elegant binder, it was a night for the books. I cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to bringing my family next!

We were greeted by a very friendly waitress. She said we could sit wherever we wanted, asked if we've been in before, and told us about the specials. The interior is cozy, it kind of reminded me of dive bar vibes. They have a lot of drinks on tap and some frozen slushies. I opted for organic iced tea since I don't drink. When I went to the bathroom, I noticed one of the slushies was non-alcoholic so I might try that next time. We ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger with Chili Cheese Fries and the Supreme wood-fired pizza. The burger was fantastic! The BBQ sauce was delicious, the bacon and onion rings were crispy, and the fries were great. I enjoyed the chili, but I didn't think the cheese sauce or sour cream really stood out. I thought the crust on the pizza was perfect, I really enjoyed the wood-fired vibe and fresh toppings. This would probably be my favorite pizza if they used better mozzarella. For now, Bizza is holding the top spot for me since they use Butcher's Son mozzarella, and in my opinion, it's the best vegan mozzarella sub I've ever had from pizza spots so far. Even though I have notes, I still think the overall meal was a home run and the staff were super friendly so they get 5-stars in my book.

The service was also amazing everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Everything we ordered was delicious. For drinks, we both got an iced lavender latte, which was delicious. I loved how the cardamom complemented the lavender so well and it was very refreshing and not too sweet. The smash burger was the best vegan patty I have had in years. It was very flavorful and moist. The watermelon salad was delicious, especially the avocado mousse. The pistachio cream on the pistachio bread was so addicting. I wish I could have bought a bottle of it! Every single item was crafted so well with the freshest ingredients. It was nice going to a place that focused less on soy, and more on whole foods and flavor. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially for brunch.
