    Delicious pastor, birria and cabeza
    Oliver V.

Found this place on Maps and I'm glad I stopped. They have some legitimately Mexican tacos like Birria, Tripa, Asada, Pastor among other things. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for authentic Mexican Tacos (not Taco Bell crap)

Stopped here for gas and food, and my friend recommended this place and said they have the best tacos around. It's $3 for a regular taco and $4 for taco supreme. The prices are pretty good. I was highly impressed and everything was delicious and it looks like it's been made with much care and love. I'm definitely coming back anytime I drive by!

The Al Pastor tacos were amazing. The service and staff were great as well. I was just visiting the area and I'm glad I stopped by to give them a try. The tacos were flavorful, delicious, and at only $3 each they're a fantastic value. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for incredible Mexican food on the go, this little food truck is an absolute gem. We happened to stumble upon it while driving through, and I'm so glad we did. The couple running it were genuinely some of the sweetest people--so welcoming and kind, which made the experience even better. The food itself was amazing. Everything came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The tacos, burritos, and quesadillas were all delicious--honestly some of the best we've had. Was too hungry to take pictures of the food. There's a small seating area, but not much, so it's more of a grab-and-go spot. Still, it's 100% worth the stop. Only downside? We don't live nearby, because I'd be here all the time. Definitely a place we wish we could bring home with us!

Traveling home from Southern California, and made sure to stop for my favorite Queso Birria Tacos, plus Carne Asada Nachos. We weren't disappointed. Quick, friendly service. The ambiance is fresh air and sunshine. It was on the warm side too, but I'm not complaining, my stomach is full, yum!

2 carnitas, 1 Pastor, 1 asada. Green salsa. LITERALLY THE BEST CARNITAS & PASTOR. EVER. EVER EVER. GET SOME.

Stopped off at the 76 gas station- which was the BEST decision of my life. These were the best tacos of I've ever had, from Northern Ca down to Los Angeles. STOP. EAT THE TACOS. Mega nice folks. THANK YOU MY FRIENDS!

Bonus - yummy appetizers sized soup came with my order. Nice surprise! Didn't expect that.

Looking for some tasty tacos on your road trip ? Look no further than at the 76 gas station parking lot ! Was driving back to Sacramento and stopped here for gas and tacos . Although their " spiciest " salsa wasn't spicy enough , I thought their tacos were pretty good ! The employees were nice and I would definitely pay them a visit again ! Try the carne assda ! It's what I order whenever I need to determine if a place is worth revisiting :)

Definitely worth the hype. The food and the service were absolutely fantastic! It was a gorgeous 72° day so we were able to eat outside at the picnic table. We would stop again if given the chance!

Good highway food tacos would probably be better than the burritos though. Service was decent just a regular interaction for some burritos.

My son also specifically requested Alfredo so it's great that they have that on the kids menu! If you're tired of fast food, I highly recommend making this place your lunch or dinner stop. Food comes out fast and service is great. Highlight of our night was when staff handed my kids a small cup of koi food so we could feed the fish before making our way home. The kids really enjoyed that. We will be making this our pit stop coming home from SoCal every time from now on.

This visit happened to fall on Mother's Day weekend. We had reservations for both Saturday and Sunday, but we stopped in on Saturday to cancel that day's reservation since we'd already eaten lunch and knew we wouldn't be hungry by dinnertime. On Sunday, when we checked in for our reservation, I was impressed -- the hostess remembered us by name, which says a lot considering how many guests come through the restaurant. We were seated, and soon after we were greeted by Eleanor, our server. She was warm, attentive, and never made us feel pressured, which was a huge improvement from a previous visit. She answered every question I had, including how they cook a medium‑rare steak (every chef has their own interpretation, lol). She also gave an honest answer when I asked whether the vegetables used at dinner come from their greenhouse. The service felt genuine, and the food was excellent -- a much better experience than my last review. This visit was absolutely worth the return. Kudos to Eleanor and the Kitchen at The Mission.

Outside there is a photo op and the building looks really cool. Inside, you can find all things Danish. However, I was sad to find the shop was so much smaller than the pictures on Yelp show. Everything is connected inside - the shop, bakery, restaurant, bar, and restrooms. The restaurant is huge and there's also an eating area at the bar and a back patio, although it was dusty and cramped and I don't think many people use the patio seating. They are dog friendly and the bartender allowed us to sit in a corner of the bar with our two dogs for our dinner. We also were able to walk them around inside the shop. Split Pea Soup 3.5/5* The soup itself is boring. There's a grainy texture, good flavor, but blah. You definitely need to order the toppings to go with it, which is a weird combination of stuff that somehow makes the soup so much better. You get cheese, sliced ham, bacon, scallions, and croutons but the crunchy green onions and bacon are what makes the soup pop. It feels like eating a healthier version of chili. Country Fried Steak 2/5* Not your typical country fried steak. The batter on this is thin and isn't very textured with crunchy edges. It was like a sad limp piece of fried patty. The steak had good seasoning but the batter really did it no justice. Hashbrowns were average. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and English Muffin was perfectly toasted. I do like that they give you a whopping amount of whipped butter for your toast! The bakery had some good looking pastries. The whole experience reminded me of a piece of Solvang. Great rest stop for something different. Plus, the bathrooms are huge and clean.
