My family and I stopped into this Taco Bell location for a quick lunch while on our way home from vacation. It is located in Santa Nella and surrounded by other fast food places and gas stations. There was no one inside except another table, so food came quickly. The inside was also pretty clean - one of the cleaner locations I have been to, but there was an awful women's bathroom smell. It must have been sewer, but you could smell it the moment you went down the hallway. It almost made me second guess eating there. We ordered Nachos, Soft Tacos, a Burrito plus a Dirty Baja Blast - my favorite! The food was as expected - no complaints! We ordered at a kiosk and grabbed our food when it was ready so not much interaction with staff. Overall, it was a decent location! Might stop in the next time we are passing through! read more

Ordered using the self order and checkout machines in store and it was easy to use. Our order had missing nachos but they gave it once we told them about it and everything went well. Your self service ordering system sllows cash. The customer is told they must pay at the counter. But the staff is either not notified - or sees the order and doesn't care - that this order is pending payment. I stood for 15 minutes without being acknowledged. When I finally asked, I was told "We can't start making the order until you've paid. You have to let us know." The fact that this is automatic - that someone isn't notified and comes to get my payment as a matter of courtesy - is unacceptable. I sm enraged. I just passed by about 20 mins ago on my way home from work . I got A nachos bell grande Chalupa box 2 tacos And 2 bean burritos The beans in my burrito were disgusting . They were old I know they scraped the bottom of that tray. They were so dry and they put no cheese or sauce in my burritos at all. In my nachos bell grande they Barley put any beans & same thing with the beans they were scraped off the bottom . They were dry and gross they could've atleast added some hot water to them like they did when I worked AT THIS VERY LOCATION. I also asked for extra hot sauce while she was taking my order & there was only 5 . I did ask for more and the second girl who came to the window did give me a hand full . This is the slowest Taco Bell I have ever been to. Once the food finally came out they forgot items and my husband said something to a worker, 10 minutes later I go up and they are all standing around chit chatting so I had to ask for the missed items again, that they forgot. The Crunchwrap that I ordered was the smallest one I have ever seen. My kids said the tacos didn't taste right and the blue raspberry freeze also tasted off. Road stop on a return trip from the coast. I hap high hopes when we were greeted at the drive thru by a sweet, chipper and very on top of it gal who seemed to read our minds when we were about to ask for special requests. That's where the good stopped. Much of our order, including my wife's request for pintos and cheese with chips, was misheard or forgotten. Tacos without sour cream had them; her pintos and cheese came without chips. I rolled around for a bathroom stop and was further appalled at a very gross and unclean bathroom lacking soap. My wife and I stopped at a few places in the area on our trip to LA from Sacramento and back. I was happy to see a very clean and air conditioned Taco Bell. Food was very fresh. I went to Carl's Jr. instead, if that's what you are here for, you understand why. My family and I went to this location to dine in (it was 8p and their diner, on sign, says closed at 10p). They immediately told us that their dine in was closed, without reason too. We exclaimed that it was only 8, but they still didn't give us a reason for their closing. It was until someone else told us they're closed due to the empty lobby. So if you see an empty Taco Bell with an empty lot before WAY before closing, you should go somewhere else. You're better off buying food from a place that doesn't close their lobby because of emptiness. Instead of letting us dine in, they let us use the restroom. There were reviews of dirty lobby and unclean areas. They weren't wrong. Their restroom were dirty even though they had the "time" to clean it. One was still clogged. SITREP First off, I can't believe I'm in my 4th year of Yelping, and after all the Taco Bells I've been to in that time this is actually my FIRST Taco Bell review, and it's not even in my hometown. But there it is. THE SETUP I love their $5.99 Cool Ranch Dorito box that I can sit in the seat, and munch on while I jump back on the freeway to continue my trek down south. So I was driving back from SF and we stopped at this location to grab some quick bites. I ordered through drive through. I ordered 4 veg rice cheese bean burritos, drink and coffee. I was told the coffee machine is not working. Which was fine it happens sometimes. So He took my order and then asked me to pay at window 2. I paid and took my order. When I opened the order and took the first bite I SAW MEAT so I drove back, went inside and told the guy that my order is messed as I ordered NO MEAT burritos. HERE THE SHIT STARTED....the lady in the back who made the burrito was not ready yo admit her mistake and started arguing to this guy in Spanish. To me it looked like that she was saying that she can never do that mistake ever. The conversation between them went to next level and raising voice and hand gestures started. The guy came to me and said WE CANT CHANGE THE FULL ORDERS AND WE WILL CHANGE ONLY BURRITOS WHICH ARE WRONG. i said I haven't opened others but as all are. Made together they are all wrong. He said he will not touch the order and asked me to OPEN ALL BURRITOS AND SHOW HIM AND PROVE THE LADY WRONG. HE ASKED ME TO OPEN ALL AND PROVE THAT LADY THAT SHE MADE IT WRONG and to my surprise the lady said something in Spanish which was translated to me that I need to DIG BURRITO WITH FINGER TO SHOW HIM BEEF. THAT BEHAVIOR WAS RUDE AND FOOD WAS GROSS BECAUSE I DONT EAT MEAT AT ALL. At last she kept on saying something between them and made 2 burritos again and the guy asked me to wrap all open and finger digged burritos and 2 replaced ones. I was shocked to see this behavior. I asked him to get it done. He said - I can't do it you have to do it yourself. After this whole happened I was already annoyed and felt insulted and grossed out, SO I SIMPLY PICKED THE FOOD FROM THE COUNTER AND TRASHED IN THEIR TRASH AND WENT OUT. I seriously checked the logo again if it's REALLY TACO BELL or some replica coz this is NOT TACO BELL CULTURE. Similar incidents happened before a couple of times but they always apologize and change the order, they don't argue, no proving and finger digging all food and volume raised. THESE EMPLOYEES SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE THEIR JOB AT THIS LICATION. They don't deserve to work here. They were very rude, very argumentative, not apologetic, not courteous at all which they should as they FED BEEF to somebody who is a vegetarian because of health reasons. I pulled into Taco Bell looking for a quick meat free option around 7pm on a Friday. The place wasn't that full, but the place was disorganized like it was being slammed with the busiest day in their history. I stood around the cash register waiting to order for a few minutes. No one came to greet me. Perhaps they were all busy with the drive through? I dunno. Anyway, I placed my order & it came out in a timely manner. However, the burritos felt a little cold as if it had been made before I had even ordered. Then I went to get some mild sauce and was greeted with a practically empty container. The 2 packets they did have were also covered in some weird sticky substance. I'm assuming it was from a previously opened packet, but it was just disgusting. SO...I went to grab some napkins to clean my hands of the mystery substance and...no napkins to be found. Anywhere. In the whole restaurant. It wasn't until halfway through my meal that an employee casually strolled out to refill the dispensers. Uhhh....come on guys. It just was a disappointing meal all around. The experience here was the worst. All the tables were dirty and needed to be cleaned. The floors were covered in food and when asked if they could please wipe down a table for us. The employees looked at each other laughed and did not acknowledge us. We waited for our food and number to be called. They refused to call out our number and our food was left on the counter. This establishment needs to be shut down it is a health hazard with easy access to people that are coming off the highway. We don't usually stop at Taco Bell in Santa Nella, but this last time I took the dogs over to the grassy area since it was across from the gas station. Decided to go ahead and order some food here as well. Compared to our local TB this place is super clean and the staff has been very friendly on multiple occasions now. So much so that we now have made this our new regular stop on the long drive. The food also is better than our local Taco Bell most of the time. My only complaint is that the size of the food is inconsistent from the last few visits. I always order the same menu item and its usually the same, but every now and then it seems like it has half of the meat. read more
