1/7/2026 I stopped at Ranch Tacos in Los Baños as a quick rest stop. I ordered a ranch taco with asada and a ranch quesadilla with asada. My sister went with a chicharrón ranch taco, an al pastor ranch taco, and an asada ranch taco. Her favorite by far was the al pastor. What makes these tacos different is the tortilla setup: they use small taco-size tortillas, doubled up, with melted cheese in between, then add the meat and toppings on top. The asada was good--not the greatest I've had--but the salsas, lime, radish, grilled onions, and grilled chile serranos really help elevate the flavor and make up for anything lacking. Service was okay. I always have to explain my egg allergy, and you can usually tell when someone takes that seriously and when they don't. Our server was cordial but brushed off my questions about potential risks with eggs or mayo, and at times seemed slightly annoyed by my concerns. I asked for a knife to cut my quesadilla and instead she offered to take it to the back and cut it for me, which I declined. On a positive note, the chef actually came out to ask if everything tasted good and if we had any concerns--that showed pride in his work, and I appreciated that. I'd definitely come back and try the al pastor tacos. One last thing to note: the bathroom is outside, and you need a key to unlock it. read more

My brother-in-law recommended this spot, so me and my parents went here to compare to the other Los Banos taco place we had visited. These tacos were 10/10! The meat was perfectly seasoned, the taco size was great, and I loved all the toppings/sauces that it came with. Definitely some of the best asada tacos I've ever had. I also loved that although it was a taco truck, it had an indoor area that people could sit to enjoy their food with ample seating. If you're passing through the Los Banos area and need a meal, I'd highly recommend this spot! read more

Amazing! Wish we lived closer!!! Okay so we were on a long road trip on our way to hike in Pinnacles National Park so even though we wanted to try everything on the menu, we thought stick to the basics :P. Service was super friendly and efficient! They asked if it was our first time and kindly explained the entire menu to us. Food came out neatly packaged to go and very quickly! Food was delicious. Best street tacos I've had. Meat flavorful, everything tasted fresh and ratios were perfect. We got the Al pastor regular tacos and the radish was such a nice crisp addition. Restaurant was super clean and, again, all the workers were super friendly and welcoming so ambiance was great. Will definitely find a way to come back! Let's start with the ambience... The music is blaring so loudly that the man taking your order cannot hear you. They don't have a paper menu for you to read and the writing up on the queue above the cashier is too small to read. The ranch tacos that have the cheese between two tortillas are not worth it. The Carne Asada is minced into tiny little pieces and overcooked so badly that it is dried out. The server was very friendly. This place is INCREDIBLE! Amazing service, friendly staff, good seating options, and most importantly, DELICIOUS food. These tacos are innovative and different, and the veggie tacos are great for vegetarians! The pollo diablo is great if you like some spice. Salsas are flavorful and complement the food well, I recommend the ranch style tacos- crispy and adds so much richness. The aguas frescas are smooth and freshly made, and the bottles are so convenient for taking them on the go. In a state full of Mexican restaurants that serve tacos your taco has to be different than the rest to stand out! These tacos have a cheese skirt between tortillas that are delicious. I had two tacos of Asada and two tacos of Pastor. The meat was full of flavor and the salsas just as good. Tortillas were nice and crispy This was my first time here and it looks like they just moved into the restaurant from a taco truck. The seating area was clean with napkins easily accessible. Someone from the back came out to the restaurant floor to greet customers and asked how our food was. I think that was very nice of him to do that. These may be the best tacos I've had in the area and I would definitely come back. Delicious food at a fair price! Service was prompt and courteous. The Yelp listing indicates it is a food truck, but they have moved into a building with counter seating plus a few tables. If you want some bomb ass tacos and you are anywhere near this place, hit these folks up! I am so mad I found this place, because they are so far away from me. I live in the Bay Area and visit Los Banos every so often. This place popped up sometime last year and a friend I made an a flight, recommended them to me. Seriously! I was coming back from Hawaii and I was seated next to somebody from Los Banos. What the hell are the chances of that! This connection was meant to be. Could it be the best tacos I've had in years, absolutely. I had our pastor and my friend had chicharron tacos. Next time I go there I will only have chicharron tacos. I actually ended up eating half of their tacos. The guy that served us was super friendly and very attentive. After we ordered, he brought our food to us at the table. before I forget! They grab two tortillas and place cheese in the middle, then grill it, and after that, the meat you requested. What sets this place apart from most taco trucks, is there is inside eating right behind it! It is set up with a bunch of picnic tables, hardwood flooring and there are legit bathrooms. Stopped here for dinner after the 49er game. When we went up to order, they gave us all a free cup of birria consome which was really good. We ordered regular tacos and ranch tacos. The tacos had great flavor.. the salsas they use are spicy, but so good! We also ordered a horchata and jamaica.. both were delicious. I was a big fan of the tacos here. I looked at the photos on google and it looked like this was just a food truck, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they have indoor seating as well. They make the tacos either traditional or "ranch way" which includes melted cheese between two tortillas. The tacos were soo good. Definitely exceeded my expectations read more

I don't normally post reviews, but as soon as we started walking up to the truck we were met with exceptional hospitality. We were shown great patience and help while we tried to navigate what we wanted to order. Our food was prapared quickly and it all was honestly some of the best tacos, burrito, and quesadilla we've had in a long time. Those ranch tacos in particular were to die for. My only gripe is towards myself for not taking a picture to post how good it all looked as well. Highly recommend! read more

Delicious! They offered us a cup of soup on the house to enjoy while we waited for our order. It was so flavorful and warming I asked if they sold it - I wanted to bring some home! But, it's only available at the truck so enjoy some while you wait! My husband and I ordered 4 ranch style tacos between us. Our favorites were chiccharon and asada, but they were all great! The restaurant itself is a food truck, but they also have an indoor seating area. The family that owns it is so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back! read more
