Cute little shop, where they sell some food items and coffee. It's super laidback and the cashier was friendly. If you're a real coffee drinker, I'd suggest skipping this spot. It's more so for the cute blended drinks, with a splash of coffee people. The flavors are sweet, which a lot of people favor. However, I really needed some caffeine and ended up with an overly sweet Miky concoction. I'm definitely not the target audience for this cafe. read more

The aesthetic of the shop is super cute! Lots of mugs and plants The hostess was very kind and quickly took our orders. I ordered the Hot Chavitas Latte with a bagel, Ham/Eggs and Cheese with Jalapeños. The latte is delicious, definitely not too sweet, has a vanilla latte feel to it. Indoor seating is available but limited. The food is cooked as you order it! So no frozen meals here! Everything was a 5/5 for me! Would recommend again and again! read more

This was my first visit. And the Food was good I got 3 tacos de canasta 2 boba drinks the boba was soft the way I like it and not all rubbery. I was going to post pics but forgot . Chavita's is hands down one of the best mom and pop shops in Madera. Everything I've ordered from coffee, smoothies, snow cones and food are all delicious. Antonia provides the best service and know my daughter and I by name. The ambiance is relaxed and friendly, it feels like I showed up at my grandma's house and we are well taken care of. Homemade snow cone syrups, best cafe de olla, fresh made fruit smoothies with no additives and met with positivity every time. It's a must stop! read more

I found this gem on a whim! I was craving coffee and this was the closest coffee shop to my mother's house. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted in Spanish. I ordered the horchata latte and a torta. The horchata latte was amazing! I've had many horchata latte's where coffee shops will try to replicate horchata, but what made this one soo different - ITS AUTHENTIC. Not powder or syrup. The coffee is strong, well for me. It definitely gets the job done. The torta literally tasted like a home made meal, like if my grandmother had made it with all the love. The Agua frescas, freshly made banana muffin and tacos de canasta are chefs kiss! EVERY SINGLE TIME I visit my mom, Its a must to stop by. I've brought my fiancée, mom and in laws here and all of them say it's a little piece of heaven here, especially if you're missing Mexico. The owners are a lovely couple and I'd like to think I've become a regular here. I personally think it's a special place here in Madera, CA. read more

There is also a fridge filled with goodies that you can grab, pay & go or you have the option of ordering online & picking up your order. The online ordering is something that helps me out a lot especially when I'm in a rush. Antonia is the owner of this wonderful place. She made it a great place to be. She has a wall of plants as part of the decor & if you like a plant you can buy a plant as well. I enjoy the atmosphere here. I believe a lot of items are made in house as well. I love the Chavita's neon sign as well! Good place to meet up with friends too. I am glad Madera has a place like this to go to. read more

This is a small but very productive shop. The sandwiches, that I have ordered, have been well made with great ingredients. I normally have an espresso there. The coffee is well balanced, low acid, and perfectly calibrated. Overall, the drive to the other end of town is well worth the drive! read more

Greeted by a nice worker after walking in. 2 Americanos ordered with nonfat milk, but they didn't have nonfat milk. They do have soy and that was picked instead. Honestly...there's no better ice cream than hear. I should know because I'm the guy who delivers this stuff to them. I usually sell thrifty ice cream to other customers. So, when I first saw this Laper's ice cream, I was curious to see how it compares to thrifty. I was not disappointed. In fact it exceeded my expectations. A great place to stop for delicious coffee and great flavor! My family and I live in town and we're tired of the typical Starbucks (we're huge coffee addicts). We tried this place out and the quality is incredible. It tastes like coffee we'd have in the city (we go cafe hopping a lot when we go to the LA area). Not only is the coffee great, it's a cute little spot with lots of small plants. The owner is super friendly and warm.
