Arrival, all baristas were busy. Store was clean, coffee prep stations were clean. I was greeted kindly after a few minutes. Order was taken quickly and I grabbed a seat outside while my daughter waited for the order. Lovely Starbucks music playing in the background, but people are present having meetings. Grabbed a table outside enjoying the sunshine and outdoor seating area to have a quick caffeine pick me up during a hectic week and check in with my daughter. This is my typically drive thru location, and I don't normally sit in house. The inside has been pleasantly restructured and is quite inviting. Order: Mango chai with mango cream: . The mango cold foam was more of a mango flavor than I expected, but wasn't strong. It was noticeable. The addition of mango to the chai was really nice. Very enjoyable and refreshing drink to enjoy outside in the sun! Caramel Frappuccino with extra caramel drizzle. We all know they are good!! I didn't read any of the reviews. I found this location as I was driving on the freeway. Right off of the freeway by the Home Depot. I would say it was pristine today. The service was great and friendly and efficient. The dining room area was really clean and the sugar and creamer and area was clean and very well stocked. The restroom was also nice and neat. They cannot make a cold matcha latte to save their life!!! I order in the drive thru a venti matcha green tea latte with strawberry cold foam and once I pulled to the window, they hand me my other items and then ask if the latte was cold or hot. I remind them it's cold, a min later they hand me my drink. I drive away and sip but the cold foam barely taste anything like strawberry! I was going to drove way but I remembered cold foam is almost like 3 bucks or so?? So instead I decided to get my child off the car seat and myself to go say something. Once I finally do a gentle helped me and told another worker to make another one. They asked me if I wanted to keep the other on but it was so horrible I said no. I get my second drink after waiting a couple mins, STILL HORRIBLE. I didn't sip until I was outside (BIG mistake) because I put the whole cake pop in my mouth so I waited to swallow in order to drink and when I did, I felt something cold touching my tongue, I thought it was cold foam.... Nope it was the matcha. The matcha was not even blended right... I took the pics once I was outside. I should've asked for my money back the first time. read more

What happened to this location? Used to be a good location with plenty of seating. The baristas were awesome and always upbeat. I went in and saw three baristas behind the counter. I stood at the counter to order for about two minutes with no acknowledgement from baristas. I had to ask if they were open before someone came up to the counter. She seemed annoyed she had to take my order which she needed me to repeat multiple times. Coffee wasn't very good after I received it. Also, seating is more limited with recent remodel. I wish they kept the old layout. read more

Drive-thru! Really really really long line! Moved at a slow pace. I have a gift card do use. Separate orders. 1 grande black iced tea with 4 Stevia and another grande black iced tea with 4 Stevia and a chocolate pistachio swirl ordered on another order. The worker was very kind. More waiting in line before getting up to the front. The worker was very nice and masked. Easy to do both orders. Scanned both cells separately and handed over with good day wishes! Great black iced teas and having the sweet treat tomorrow for breakfast! I'll add it later! Great service and delicious black iced teas! Highly recommended! Next day. Madera was my stumping ground for a few years as I worked there for 2.5 years and I have gone to this location and got free items before! The staff is always friendly and kind the only pitfall is that this location can get busy as it's off the 99 highway so I recommend mobile ordering if you want to save your sanity and time! Since we were on our way to a funeral I did mobile ordering so I could get my sisters, my drink and nieces food quickly and head back on the highway. There was a line inside for ordering and people waiting for Mobile orders as well those who walked in and ordered. My drink was delicious as always! You can't go wrong with Almondmilk Matcha Latte at all! My nieces enjoyed their buttered Croissants! Overall, I recommend this location! You may get lucky and score free drinks or food! read more

I am a loyal Starbucks customer and happen to be traveling for work In Madera. I went to visit this location to learn that the store in closed due to the tragic loss of one of the employees. First, I am so sorry for the loss of Emi, who was just heading to work like any other day and was killed by a drunk driver ... such a senseless and tragic loss for her family. However, the main reason for my post is to commend Starbucks for putting people before profit. I am truly impressed with the compassion that this store is showing Emi and her work family. We were passing by on the 99 on our way home and stopped for a break at this establishment and ordered our usual light roast pour-over coffee and while the service was friendly, unfortunately she did not brew a blonde roast. The coffee was a dark roast and undrinkable. After the first few sips, I checked the sticker and it was tagged "blonde roast" so the barista did not misunderstand our order, but the coffee was awful and tasted burnt. Bummer of an experience because we wanted what we ordered, and believe us- we know the difference between light and dark roasts and have received light roasts at other Starbucks. read more

I stopped by on my way up north to check out their viability as a drive-through stop...since I regularly drive through Madera. Of course, I hit the drive through on a rainy morning right at the peak of rush hour (8:15 am). I was probably no more than the fifth car in line from the window and it took me approximately 20 minutes to get through to the window, and another few minutes to get my drink. Usually, that would result in a lower rating...but the Barista (without me saying anything) acknowledged and apologized for the unusally long wait and offered to comp my drink. I know sometimes things can take longer than planned (especially if the SUV in front of you orders 20 kids hot chocolates, or something like that) in the food industry...but it is rare that a server will acknowledge/apologize for the delay before the customer even says anything. That is good service in my opinion, and is worthy of a star. As for my peppermint mocha frapp, it was perfectly blended and extra strong with my added shot...just as I like. I will be back here--but not when I'm in a rush or on my way to work. read more

The drive thru is always packed because as I said parking is ridiculous. Not to worry though since I've never seen a drive thru move so fast! what the hell guys I'm there almost everyday and today you gave me regular milk in my coffee. I have a milk allergy I've been lactose intolerant my whole life, I've let the manager know this. I always always get almond milk and when the girl on the speaker took my order I told her almond milk not 2% or whatever regular is.
