Amazing coffee! Service was fast and the employees were really nice. Even though I only ordered the drip coffee (the fire), it was really good. It tasted kind of sweet so I had to look up the coffee beans they used. It's a blend of Central/South America beans with notes of baker's chocolate, syrup and brown sugar. Please, please please make Coffee that isn't burnt or bitter. I got the medium cold brew and it was like sipping on liquid Xanax or Angostura bitters. I also ordered a mocha for my mom and it had two problems. #1 it ended up being cocoa, not coffee based, and secondly it was so blisteringly hot it took 15 minutes to cool down enough to not literally scald her mouth. We frequent all the locations. This particular location we were treated horribly. We were in line NOT at the end of the line. We were asked to drive around to start the line of cars going another direction which we did. When we did that the cars behind us that was not asked to move were assisted BEFORE us! So we essentially got moved to the back of the line. The girl was smug about it with no apologies. We left and went to the other location which always treats the customers well. So disappointed by the way we were treated. I understand there is a new rule which direction the cars must go, but don't shouldn't you move the last cars around not the ones that are next to go? read more

It is hilarious that I've never written a review about this place because I am here ALL THE TIME. This is long overdue. Kuppa Joy (specifically this location) has 100% absolutely turned my day around multiple times. My experience here, just grabbing coffee (in the drive-thru, I might add) has been SO PLEASANT that it has literally given me a total attitude adjustment and set the tone for a much more positive, friendly day. How do they even do that?!?! The employees here are so sincere and thoughtful that it makes me pause in whatever racing, chaotic moment I'm having and just have a genuine moment of kindness with whoever happens to be taking my order that day. It is truly astounding and it touches a very basic human need that we all have, which is to feel seen and valued. The quality of the drinks are the best in Clovis/Fresno. My go-tos are: Americano with Almond Milk, Cold Brew with Vanilla Cold Foam, the BLUEBERRY MUFFIN, and a Cinnamon Almond Milk Latte. The Joy Thru is a 10 minute walk from my house so I love strolling by to grab a drink (or lazily drive). I usually get an Oat Milk Matcha Latte or a Chai Latte. I also love their cronuts and the chipotle breakfast sandwich. I love that they support fellow business by carrying their products. I've seen Pressed Juice, Olli Pops, and Crave Cookies. The workers are super chill and sweet. They're in a good mood and do the best they can in that little space! I got the Espresso Flight from them. They suggested a good combination but 2 of the espressos was cold by the time I had tried them. It was just sitting out for a while. I could see that they messed up the order the first time as they went to remake it with new cups. But I'm spending $10 on a flight, at least make sure it stays hot. Service usually is pretty good but this tipped off and I'll probably never get espresso flights again from them Ambiance is always busy to say the least but it's also lunch ish time and the coffee is overall great so it's bound to be busy. Kuppa was packed when we arrived which highlighted their incredibly efficient service. Our delicious drinks (latte and honey joy), avocado toast and breakfast panini were ready within 10 minutes tops. Managed to find indoor seating; Tables for larger parties available along with comfortable outdoor seating. Food was perfectly portioned and very satisfying! I loved the iced coffee drink produced by Kuppa Joy for me this morning. I quit drinking iced espresso drinks at Starbucks because it lost flavor impact. Kuppa Joy's espresso is has a very deep coffee flavor that I've missed. The drink pictured was enhanced by cream and lavender flavoring. I was so excited for a drive thru Kuppa Joy, and even more so that it's somewhat close to me. I have been to the Kuppa Joy in Clovis and the one by Fresno City many times, and I enjoy my time at each location. Staff is usually friendly, but not Dutch Bros over-energized status, so this is a more genuine friendly. The coffee is delicious and I don't know if you could go wrong with anything you try from Kuppa Joy. I have tried many menu items, but by far my favorites are: the parfait (best granola), the Iced Almond Joy (less sweetened), the Iced Kuppa Joy (less sweetened), and the cappuccinos. I cannot say much to the atmosphere of the drive thru, but my interactions with the staff were fine and I got in and out quickly. If you are new and you come to the drive thru- make sure you stop and look at the coffee menu before you drive completely up to the window. The menu by the window is for food. A little pricier for their signature drinks, but coffee, americanos, etc. are about average price. Enjoy! I definitely suggest trying them out. :) If you like a good coffee-house atmosphere, try out one of their walk in locations! read more
