This is probably the best spot for matcha drinks in Fresno, CA. I have been here a few times now, and there is always a long line. They have a system where you order at a tablet, and they'll call out your name when your order is ready. There's very little interaction, but I'm okay with that. Their menu isn't too extensive and has a great variety of options to choose from. The drinks are very delicious! I've gotten the tiramisu matcha, matcha latte, crème brûlée matcha, and banana matcha. Each one is very good and tastes exactly as advertised. The drinks are perfectly sweet, and the sweetness is adjustable. You can add toppings as well, and even double the matcha! They have ceremonial matcha that is very smooth. I had the blueberry matcha with oat milk sub, and it was 10/10. Highly recommended. I wanted to try blueberry because I usually get the strawberry flavor and it was worth it, the blueberries were fresh and not just sugar, it paired with the matcha very well. The cream that they give you on top also pairs with the matcha making it very creamy and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Seriously, Fresno is getting all the good places after I've moved away. This place took over the Korean restaurant that used to be here a while ago. When you walk in, you're taken to another place that is very aesthetically appealing. Lanterns hung around, tables set, like a little cafe, great for hanging out and studying. You order on the kiosk so not much people interaction and they will call your name/send you a text to pick up from the window when your drinks are ready. Despite coming on a busy Saturday afternoon, it was pretty busy inside and loads of people were coming and going. I ordered a coconut matcha and it was pretty decent. Very good matcha but not the best. I got my drink with 75% sweetness (50% is default) but it didn't taste that sweet. I got a double shot matcha with crème brulee top. It's not a torched top, it's powdered but still great. The matcha was good but not as strong as I hoped. The crème brulee top is very tasty but doesn't add to the matcha drink itself. They listened to their customers and changed their hours to allow customers who work earlier in the day, to enjoy a cup of great matcha before heading to work. This might be my top matcha spot. With the exception of Tuesday, they open quite early, so they are a great option for an early caffeine hit. The drinks are a bit slower to make earlier in the morning since there are not as many workers, but they are quite efficient during lunch and dinner. The drinks have stellar matcha quality, and the toppings are extremely rich. The baseline sugar level is lower than 100% and the toppings lean on the sweeter side, so the balance is perfect. Even without ice adjustments, the base drink is not heavily iced, so it does not get too diluted. *Creme Brulee Matcha: comes with an adorable spoon to mix in the thick layer of cream. Each top is perfectly torched, and the creme brulee layer is some of the creamiest I have had. This tends to be a bit sweeter than their other options, so I would reduce the sugar level even further. *Strawberry Matcha: sweet and tart strawberry puree pairs so well with the earthy matcha. This offers the perfect amount of fruitiness and natural sweetness. *Coconut Jelly: the coconut jelly base comes with a variety of fruit jam. The coconut jelly itself was rather nutty and milky, but not too sweet on its own. As a result, most of the flavor came from the choice of fruit. I wish the fruit layer were a bit thicker, as the ratio of jelly to fruit was off. This place is such a gem for Fresno and I have to stop by whenever I am in the area. I might have found the best matcha in Central Valley. I found about this place in TikTok so I had to go check it out. There is plenty of parking in the front. There are signs in front of the store advertising their upcoming sushi boxes which I'm excited about. They have a huge light up menu. You order from the kiosk. Got the brown sugar matcha and mango matcha. I like that there was an option to put double matcha because I love matcha. The second time I been here, I got the Epinspanner matcha ($7.50) and the Kyoto Matcha Latte ($6.95). The place is very cutely decorated and pretty big with many tables and chairs. We have heard the matcha was ceremonial and delightful. We came when there was an afternoon rush. You walk in, stand in line and order yourself on the kiosk. I like this idea, because it means if the order is wrong, I did it! The store was busy we waited about 4 minutes to place the order, it was incredibly easy, you are told how the drinks are made according to default order to maximize flavor. You do have the option to customize levels of sweetness, the amount of ice, milk type including corn milk and other non dairy options. Decor: you know I care whether the decor is clean. The shelves were dusted and clean. Things around the counters were cleaned, stocked and organized. Trash cans were empty and clean. Could not really see the prep area it's kind of blocked off. Strawberry Matcha: 2% milk, 30% ice, regular boba added. The cream layer on top was thick almost pudding like, which was very pleasant on the tongue and went well with the matcha! The floral notes of the strawberry came through. It was ordered with default sweetness. It was great. Banana Matcha: the banana cream on top was extremely comforting, like Sunday dinner with the family. It was very reminiscent of banana pudding all thick, silky and luscious! The banana flavor was not the over powering banana flavoring style like candy. It was more muted, almost natural tasting and soft and delicate but ever present. The customer service is this style of ordering is really not present. Your number is called. You walk up grab your coffee and sit down. There was nothing wrong with this style, it just removes the human interaction. The minimal contact with the employee was kind and pleasant. I had been hearing so much hype from this place and I could not wait to try it! It's about a 35 minute drive from my house so it's definitely a place. I can only visit on the weekends. When I walked in my drinks were already ready and they keep them in a refrigerator until you come in to get them. They were so friendly, quick, and attentive to whatever you need. Also, one of the best things is the quality! They are inclusive of all die diet and restrictions. For example, all of our drinks were made with oat milk. Since this was my first time, I still wanted to try their infamous cream at the top, which I know is not dairy free, but it's very delicious and it's a different flavor depending on what drink you got.
