1st visit awhile back was wild. They were super busy that it took me almost an hour to get my drink! I think I got a matcha coconut jelly drink and it was honestly delicious. The best I've ever had! But the wait scarred me lol. Recently, I was nearby and decided to order online and early in the morning! I was lucky to get a BOGO 50% promo! Tried the coconut coffee and got another matcha coconut jelly drink. It was ready fast for pick up in 10-15 mins. Coconut coffee was good! Slightly bold coffee taste with the sweet thick coconut cream on top. The coconut crunch toppings are a nice contrast! The matcha cream coconut jelly drink is soo good. I'm a lover of coconut. The matcha cream isn't a strong matcha flavor but good to me. I believe this might be one of the first matcha places in Fresno and people love it for good reason. I'd def return and order again from the app again when I'm nearby.

Tried three drinks, two coffee and one matcha! The matcha tasted a little powdery/gritty, and not my favorite but my sister enjoyed it. Lots of seating and the self service will go as fast as people look/order on the tablet, there was a line but not too long of a wait. I ordered the coffee einspanner for myself, and it is a sweeter coffee but still really delicious. I liked the foam, and the fact that it didn't completely drown out the coffee flavor when mixed together.
This is probably the best spot for matcha drinks in Fresno, CA. I have been here a few times now, and there is always a long line. They have a system where you order at a tablet, and they'll call out your name when your order is ready. There's very little interaction, but I'm okay with that. Their menu isn't too extensive and has a great variety of options to choose from. The drinks are very delicious! I've gotten the tiramisu matcha, matcha latte, crème brûlée matcha, and banana matcha. Each one is very good and tastes exactly as advertised. The drinks are perfectly sweet, and the sweetness is adjustable. You can add toppings as well, and even double the matcha! We also tried the yogurt, which was tart and alright. I highly recommend checking this spot out if you're into matcha or trendy desserts!
My boyfriend and friend were driving home from a camping trip and decided to stop by in Fresno for some drinks and food. I wanted to stop by for something refreshing to drink and to try the matcha. The coconut trip and the hibiscus drink were really refreshing. The matcha creme brulee was a bit too creamy and felt like the creme brulee top over powered the matcha, so I couldn't really taste the matcha. Overall, we enjoyed the stop for the drinks.

Came here after brunch. Wasn't busy, but had some people sitting and talking inside with their drink. Was deciding between the peach or creme brulee matcha. Decided on peach matcha (half sweet and double shot of matcha.) Inputted it into the kiosk and it didnt take too long for the drink to be ready. The matcha flavor had tasted balanced and the peach flavor kinda taste like can peach. Maybe I could have picked 25%sweetness since peach was sweet. They have wi fi and clean bathrooms.
I've been here a few times but I've only done to go. I've tried a few different iced Matcha drinks because people kept saying this is one of Fresno's best matcha spots. It was good but not the best. I feel like their matcha drinks could have stronger flavors. But for $7 I think it's worth the price. I know it's unfair to compare to Bay Area matcha but I will continue to be on the lookout for Fresno's best matcha spot.

ICED AMERI-COCO :: I went back for their Iced Ameri-Coco and its not the same. Their consistence is always alightly different each time i come in. I ordered 'light coffee' but it's so strong. The first time i ordered this was so good and refreshing. Now, it's too strong for me. ICED MATCHA :: Same with this iced matcha. The consistency is not the same. I just came here a few weeks ago and it was exaclty i was expecting for. But today the sweetness is very low. OVERALL :: The consistency needs to be more consistent.
Seriously, Fresno is getting all the good places after I've moved away. This place took over the Korean restaurant that used to be here a while ago. When you walk in, you're taken to another place that is very aesthetically appealing. Lanterns hung around, tables set, like a little cafe, great for hanging out and studying. You order on the kiosk so not much people interaction and they will call your name/send you a text to pick up from the window when your drinks are ready. Despite coming on a busy Saturday afternoon, it was pretty busy inside and loads of people were coming and going. I ordered a coconut matcha and it was pretty decent. I did less sweet as a preference and it turned out okay. Not too bad for a Central Valley place.
Tried the strawberry matcha and it was sooo good!! The strawberry and matcha actually went really well together and neither flavor was too overpowering. It was refreshing, and the berries added the perfect amount of sweetness. Definitely something I'd order again and one of the best matcha spots in Fresno hands down.
8/12/26 They are doing Happy Hour Monday and Wednesday specials! Must do! Ordered on Local Toast, a Banana Matcha with oatmilk & extra boba. Got the Happy Hour deal! Thank you! Paid for it there and went to pick it up! Great inside. Safe and clean. Music playing. They were busy! Small wait, greeted by kind worker, let her know and received with good day wishes!! Great!! Haven't had the Banana Matcha Boba drink & OMG, DELICIOUS!! FLAVORFUL & GREAT Tasty Boba too!! Good service, convenient ordering to pick up & GREAT Banana Matcha Boba drink! Highly recommended!!
Came out to Fresno for the first time ever for a work trip and something I wanted to do while in the area was to check out local cafes and try their matcha lattes. 3 cafes, 3 matcha lattes, and let me tell you, Okome delivered the best cup!! Okome was my last stop before heading back to LA and I didn't have high expectations going in since the last 2 cafes were average, ok at best. Okome offers so many options, very hard to pick but I decided to go with the chef's special, matcha corn latte. It wasn't displayed on their big menu but I saw it on the kiosk. I've never seen this flavor offered before at any cafe with matcha so I had to try it for myself. Typically you only see corn coffee, but never a corn matcha. The drink was not too sweet (100% sweetness), very natural, and the matcha flavor and quality was good! I was surprised the flavors worked well together. If ever in the area again, I would definitely come back to try other drinks and food. read more

This place is such a nice hangout spot for teens and college students! It's chill, quiet, and spacious enough to come study or get some homework done. The drinks were good, and the service was pretty fast! Definitely a nice little spot to hang out, study, or catch up with friends. Can't wait to come back and try the sushi box! read more
When in Fresno, you should definitely check out this place! This place is very spacious, with plenty of tables available for dining or studying. You order your food and drinks through a self-service machine, and they'll call your number when your order is ready. My boyfriend and I got the Coconut Coffee Crunch (we would rate it 3.5/5) during their BOGO 50% promotion, and it wasn't bad. It was definitely an interesting combination. However, I think this place is better known for their matcha, so I'll probably give that a try next time. Overall, not a bad spot to grab a drink and hang out! read more

Needed a pick me up on the way home to the Bay Area and wow oh wow glad we made the stop here. The matcha is really good quality and the prices are super reasonable compared. The banana cream is light, fluffy, and taste like real banana cream. Order via kiosk, so not really much service. There's plenty of room to sit inside and AC to beat the heat. read more

They have ceremonial matcha that is very smooth. I had the blueberry matcha with oat milk sub, and it was 10/10. Highly recommended. I wanted to try blueberry because I usually get the strawberry flavor and it was worth it, the blueberries were fresh and not just sugar, it paired with the matcha very well. The cream that they give you on top also pairs with the matcha making it very creamy and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. There was quite a few people and you should expect more during school time because it is a very good place to study. Very spacious and inviting. Highly recommended to try this place one day. read more

The customer service here is always fast, friendly, and everything is super clean! Every time I come here, I usually end up getting two drinks just for myself. I know that sounds like a lot, but they're just that good! My go-to drinks are the Strawberry Matcha and Coconut Matcha. The Strawberry Matcha is definitely my favorite--I've tried strawberry matcha at other boba shops and restaurants, and this is honestly the best one I've had so far. Definitely one of my favorite spots. Highly recommend! read more
Very good matcha but not the best. I got my drink with 75% sweetness (50% is default) but it didn't taste that sweet. I got a double shot matcha with crème brulee top. It's not a torched top, it's powdered but still great. The matcha was good but not as strong as I hoped. The crème brulee top is very tasty but doesn't add to the matcha drink itself. I went here with my family for coffee and had their banana pudding coffee with 0 sugar and tiramisu cream coffee. Both were looking so good and tasting very good. I always drink americano without any sugar, and decided to order banana pudding with 0 sugar as well, and that was a very great decision cause the pudding on top was already making the coffee too sweet, so they combine each other. Lots of Interior seating available, even for people with strollers. The ordering is made so easy, there is no stuff available for orders, but ordering kiosks are self explanatory and with clear pictures and details. read more
Came to try the creme brulee coffee since I've been on the hunt for Vietnamese egg coffee. This was the closest I've found. Drink was tasty with a soft custard on top and the coffee was nice and strong similar to a Vietnamese coffee. Pricy but worth it. Location is far from me; otherwise I could go more often. Self service offer kiosk and they call out the order number or name when ready at the pick up window. Seats were pretty full when I went on an a Sunday early afternoon. This might be my top matcha spot. With the exception of Tuesday, they open quite early, so they are a great option for an early caffeine hit. The drinks are a bit slower to make earlier in the morning since there are not as many workers, but they are quite efficient during lunch and dinner. The drinks have stellar matcha quality, and the toppings are extremely rich. The baseline sugar level is lower than 100% and the toppings lean on the sweeter side, so the balance is perfect. Even without ice adjustments, the base drink is not heavily iced, so it does not get too diluted. *Creme Brulee Matcha: comes with an adorable spoon to mix in the thick layer of cream. Each top is perfectly torched, and the creme brulee layer is some of the creamiest I have had. This tends to be a bit sweeter than their other options, so I would reduce the sugar level even further. *Strawberry Matcha: sweet and tart strawberry puree pairs so well with the earthy matcha. This offers the perfect amount of fruitiness and natural sweetness. *Coconut Jelly: the coconut jelly base comes with a variety of fruit jam. The coconut jelly itself was rather nutty and milky, but not too sweet on its own. As a result, most of the flavor came from the choice of fruit. I wish the fruit layer were a bit thicker, as the ratio of jelly to fruit was off. This place is such a gem for Fresno and I have to stop by whenever I am in the area. If I lived any closer, I would probably be their number one returning customer. read more

Matcha coconut is literally a 10/1000000 OMG Matcha yuzu tea 8/10 so fresh and citrusy Strawberry lemonade 8/10 Creme brûlée coffee 9/10 Banana Creme matcha 10/1000 Tiramisu coconut cup 7/10 was tasty but will try a new flavor next time I love coming here. Seriously the best coffee place in Fresno. I love coffee and I try all kinds of different coffee, but man this place is so clean, friendly, has great atmosphere, quick with the orders and they have their own signature drinks. The coffee can honestly get you pretty wired, but you can always get the light version. I love this place and have gone to it multiple times already. read more

Love it! So many fun options in the menu, the strawberry matcha was so delicious. I like that you can choose the sweetness level and they have many milk alternatives. I went on a sunday afternoon and even with as busy as it was our drinks came out in probably 5 minutes. Inside is simple and clean. Indoor & outdoor seating. When Okome first opened, they opened later in the day. They listened to their customers and changed their hours to allow customers who work earlier in the day, to enjoy a cup of great matcha before heading to work. I love this matcha place as the matcha is delicious and you can adjust sugar levels. So many options from just fruit drinks, to matcha, and coffee. The place reminded me of a small Japanese restaurant with the shades inside and bamboo decor. I would come back and try multiple other items. read more

I've only ever visited Okome during opening hours, so I haven't experienced any long wait times or traffic. Today I tried the Banana Cream Matcha and it was super delicious with a really authentic, rich banana flavor. Staff is attentive and friendly. A lot of space to study or have a Matcha date I honestly have no complaints :D read more

We have heard the matcha was ceremonial and delightful. We came when there was an afternoon rush. You walk in, stand in line and order yourself on the kiosk. I like this idea, because it means if the order is wrong, I did it! The store was busy we waited about 4 minutes to place the order, it was incredibly easy, you are told how the drinks are made according to default order to maximize flavor. You do have the option to customize levels of sweetness, the amount of ice, milk type including corn milk and other non dairy options. Decor: you know I care whether the decor is clean. The shelves were dusted and clean. Things around the counters were cleaned, stocked and organized. Trash cans were empty and clean. Could not really see the prep area it's kind of blocked off. Strawberry Matcha: 2% milk, 30% ice, regular boba added. The cream layer on top was thick almost pudding like, which was very pleasant on the tongue and went well with the matcha! The floral notes of the strawberry came through. It was ordered with default sweetness. It was great. Banana Matcha: the banana cream on top was extremely comforting, like Sunday dinner with the family. It was very reminiscent of banana pudding all thick, silky and luscious! The banana flavor was not the over powering banana flavoring style like candy. It was more muted, almost natural tasting and soft and delicate but ever present. The customer service is this style of ordering is really not present. Your number is called. You walk up grab your coffee and sit down. There was nothing wrong with this style, it just removes the human interaction. The minimal contact with the employee was kind and pleasant. I didn't realize I was going to miss the human interaction with a barista. Would we return: Yes, we have already picked our next drinks out! They have posted they will soon serve sushi as well. read more
One of the best coffee and matcha places here in Fresno! The service is usually very quick, especially with the mobile kiosks out for ordering. There's lots of places to sit and work at if you wanted! I am excited to see what they do with the space since it is a larger shop. They mentioned sushi boxes were coming so I can't wait for those to come through or even some small bites/snacks. read more
