The freshest fish in town, there's no competition. Lin's restaurant group really hit this one out of the park, showcasing their appeal towards fine dining. I took my mom here for mother's day/her birthday and had the best time! Our saturday lunch reservation was everything we hoped it to be. The restaurant ambiance was beautiful and peaceful, it's so elegant you'd forget this was a world sports cafe 20 years ago. Spicy tuna, rainbow roll, shrimp, there's something for everyone. Order everything. Leave no crumb uneaten. I can't wait to go back for another special occasion!

Can't get enough! Returned this time to try some new bites. Sat on the patio for the first time. Nice and not too loud. Waiter was sweet and took his time explaining menu items and his recommendations. Temaki's were pricey and would pass on some but was nice to try. Harrell platter a must and bone marrow app was amazing. Cocktail 10/10. We love Oiza!

The ultimate date and special occasion spot. Always love the vibes when I walk in. I've been there 4x already (3x for dinner, 1x for lunch), and they never disappoint. The servers start off by pouring water over washcloths to wipe your hands when you get seated. The wagyu sando for lunch was just fine. I'd probably get their sushi obento for variety next time for lunch. For dinner, their Duo Delight is so worth it, which is their chef's choice sushi dinner for 2. Definitely a perfect amount of food with beautiful presentation. Their Kagawa Maki roll was tasty also. The Uni Udon Pasta was good if you want something a bit heavier. Think they were going for an uni carbonara type deal. I think it made its way back to the dinner menu after seeing it only on the lunch menu for some time. If you want to go all out for drinks, the Gyokuru Martini, which is essentially like a matcha martini is sooo yum. The Momo Spritz is also tasty, as well as their sours. Will always be willing to return for a special time or when I just want to treat myself!

This was my first time eating here with friends, we had a reservation and were welcomed instantly! It was pretty busy but you know that means the food would be good. It was a beautiful restaurant, and I really appreciated the warm hand towels. They have a big menu, and I was a little confused on what each thing was but thankfully I looked up pictures on their Instagram and we were able to figure out what each item was or get a general idea. The wait staff were helpful and the drinks were great. I ordered a sushi roll and a temaki. I decided to try the fatty tuna with the sea urchin and caviar. It was pretty good! I throughly enjoyed my food, the presentation was great and I will definitely be back to try some of their different items. The bone marrow and table side fried rice definitely caught my eye!

Everything about this place was a 10/10 It's a higher end sushi restaurant and you can immediately tell by the ambience and presentation. Bone marrow and sushi were phenomenal. I try to be reserve with my 5 star ratings, but I have zero complaints. It is on the pricier side but totally worth it

Food: Love the sushi at O-iza. And they have good portions without making you feel bloated. Every time we come here the food is always delicious and we never leave disappointed. Service: the staff are always attentive here and they are very nice. Ambience: very clean and quiet for the perfect date.

Our experience at Oiza was absolutely amazing. My husband took me out to dinner for my birthday . The restaurant is beautifully decorated; however, this time we chose to eat outside, where they have a patio and tables, comfortable and relaxing spot to eat as well. We both had our favorites, the King Salmon roll and the Hibachi Shrimp plate with steamed rice. For drinks, my husband had an Asahi and as for myself, I was very happy to see they had mocktails. I ended up choosing Hana Martini, which has now become my favorite mocktail. It has green tea, passion fruit, hibiscus, and pineapple flavors and it was such a great drink! For dessert, we ordered the taro tiramisu. It was the first time ever trying the dessert and we loved it. We also got a bonus birthday surprise: a birthday matcha parfait with matcha ice cream, matcha pocki sticks, cake, red bran and Frosted Flakes, beautifully presented. We had the best service! Carlye and Jazmine were so helpful, attentive, and made our experience so memorable. We really appreciated and enjoyed the service they provided. We love this place! 5/5 stars :)

Our experience at O-iza just blew me away! We went for my birthday and it is a great place to celebrate a special occasion. Our server did forget the birthday parfait, which was a bit disappointing, but we really enjoyed the food!! We sat on the patio and were quite cold even with the fire heaters. It seems like you have to get lucky with the seating and the proximity to the heaters. For appetizers, we ordered the salmon spoons and DIY handroll set. The salmon spoons were crab wrapped in salmon and were very fun to eat. We also enjoyed the DIY handroll set, especially the salmon and tuna portion. The only downside was that it only came with 3 pieces of nori, which we thought wasn't enough. For our entrees, we ordered the uni carbonara, Kagawa Maki roll and the chirashi bowl. We did not love the uni carbonara and the thought it was lacking in flavor. The chirashi bowl on the other hand was phenomenal, with fresh cuts of fish upon a bed of fluffy rice. The Kagawa Maki roll was also delicious and had a great smoky flavor. We also ordered a yuzu margarita- it was refreshing and shaken very well. Looking forward to our next visit!

My husband has never gone here and so we decided to go as a family for dinner. So glad it was not a busy day, with no reservation we did a walk-in and was able to be seated in 5 mins. Because we were a walk-in we were told that we were limited to dine for an hour and 30 mins which is more than enough time. Thanks Leo for accommodating. We were seated and served water right away by Mindee and she was super sweet, I really think she has exceptional customer service. Kelly was our server and was pretty efficient and quick. The order: we got the Wagyu fried rice, which was absolutely delicious. It's buttery, has that charred flavor from the hot pot, great flavor. I think anyone who orders this dish will love it. I got the chirashi which I have had before and of course it was super good. The sushi rice below it was well prepared with some furikake flakes. The sashimi were thick pieces and very fresh. My husband wanted something refreshing and Kelly recommended the snow crab salad and it was perfect. The dressing was nice, sweet and citrus. Will definitely order this again. The ambiance is slightly dimmed and noise is moderated. Overall experience was super pleasant. We got in quick, had great customer service, and delicious food. I also appreciate the oral hygiene products offered in the restroom for their customers.

So excited to finally try out this restaurant! The decor is beautiful. I was immediately greeted with friendly smiles. You get free edamame for the table which had a great spicy garlic seasoning. Our server, Carrie, was very attentive and gave us updates when our dishes would be out soon. What I tried: Furikake bone marrow (5/5): Amazing. A flavor bomb. The chimichurri cuts through the fattiness of the bone marrow and the pickled onions add a nice kick. The milk bread was perfectly toasted and fluffy on the inside. Definitely try this! Pan seared umi scallops (4/5): The scallops were perfect. The prosciutto salad was the perfect accompaniment and so light and fresh. The saffron risotto, however, was not my favorite. Loved that it was loaded with different mushrooms, but it lacked any flavor. Black sesame hazelnut (10/5): This is what I was looking forward to all night! I loveeee anything black sesame, so I made sure to leave room in my stomach! The presentation is beautiful. The black sesame ice cream was sweet and nutty, exactly what I was hoping for. The chocolate covered hazelnut mousse balanced out well with the black sesame. The peanut crumble and shoyu caramel added some saltiness to the sweet. All the flavors just worked so well together. This is a MUST TRY and I will come again just for this!

First time visit around 1 PM on a Sunday afternoon, and it was not crowded. . . Somehow in my head, I thought it was in the location of 'Nami' restaurant near Woodward Park, but it is located close by to Target in the Riverpark shopping center near the Regal theater. No Teppanyaki, only menu offerings. There are two patios you can choose from, but only TWO tables 'for two' that are more private (which I would have preferred) rather than dining at the long sections of multiple seating offered. Because of the table set up, (which is VERY close to other diners) you can clearly hear conversations on either side of you. . . even when you don't want to. . . and THEY can hear YOU! That was a big minus for me. I felt too confined. Seating was just too close for comfort. :/ The interior is 'airy', peaceful, and pleasing. Low volume music plays in the background. Service is attentive and cheerful. Rose scented, hot steamy towels are offered (to clean your hands after the complementary edamame appetizer) and is a special touch! Guys. Listen to Aunty, impress your 'Gal-Pal' here. Fancy! (WINK-WINK) ;) Everything we ordered was very flavorful, and they have really nailed the sauces! The Shishito pepper appetizer was delicious and the heat level was just medium, so it didn't blow your head off with fire. I recommend it! My main was the KAISEKI SET. For the choice of protein, I went with the beef as the salmon was 'farm raised' vs wild. We ordered the Black Sesame ice cream, dessert and Matcha dessert. The Matcha ice cream was delicious and more like a gelato. Next time, I will omit the 'whipped cream' on that one, as it reminded me of Cool Whip. FYI; for your birthday, they will give you the Matcha ice cream dessert with a little candle on it to celebrate! You DO have to experience it! :)

The wines we were able to try were great, and it felt like a nice spot for a small celebration. One small disappointment was that they were out of a few wines and gelato we were interested in trying, apparently because of an event earlier in the evening. It limited the selection a bit for us, which was a little unfortunate. I did enjoy many of the cocktails, especially the Drop the Lemon (delicious lemon drop) and the Caramel Apple Carousel (tastes like apple pie!). We also enjoyed the Petite Charcuterie board, which was a great selection for a small group. That said, our server Esteban really made the experience. He was super chill, friendly, and attentive. He gave great suggestions and made sure our group was taken care of throughout the night. He has such fun energy and really made sure we had a great time as well. Overall, a very nice place for a birthday gathering, and Esteban's service definitely stood out. I'd come back again to try more of their wines!

Food is really good, a little pricey but good. The last 3 Fridays our company have been reserving the outdoor tables and we have to say, our interaction with our favorite waitress ms Sarah has made a big different on how we spend our Fridays now. Not only is she very attentive to our needy group, we love her spunky personality, and appreciate her taking the time to making sure all allergy is top priority (myself nuts, shellfish and dairy). We appreciate happy hour specials and never once prior we had a waitress go through the menu mentioning specials until God sent Ms Sarah. I personally love the seasonal cocktail menu and always excited to try them. What really stood out the most in the last visit being just my husband and our 2 little ones are the little things Ms Sarah does like bringing out stickers for my girls and closed container drinks. Having the crust cut off the grilled cheese for my baby girl and bringing out a surprise birthday sundae for my oldest daughter. Ending the night with my favorite buttercake pudding. The girls went on and on about ms Sarah and how they like her so much and love her beautiful nails. Sunday, i came by for a quick bite with one of my girlfriends, I had an incident where I had order pad Thai and when it arrived to my table, ms Sarah walked up to say hello, she was not our waitress that evening and said "Aren't you allergic to nuts?! Why yes! Yes I am! I don't want to get anyone in trouble for negligence but yes I am deadly allergic to peanuts and the pad Thai is full of peanut sauce. Talk about A CLOSE ONE! My girlfriend and I switch dinner. Long story short, it takes simply less than 10 seconds to ask about an allergy nd like I said, god sent Ms Sarah to the rescue! Based on the atmosphere alone, this place is amazing. I absolutely love the vibe and setup of this restaurant/ bar. The staff is welcoming , and there are plenty of drink options available. Unfortunately, that is where the fun stops. The menu is too basic for a nice place like this. You will find standard bar options like burgers, sandwiches, and so on. However, places like Yard House do it better. The Point Patio is too nice to have food this boring. For a starter, I opted for the bruschetta which was just ok. I did appreciate the little kick of spice in their version. For dinner, I opted for the short rib tacos and they were pretty sad. Think street tacos with shredded meat , cabbage and salsa. Meh. These little tacos were served with a handful of tortilla chips and salsa. Thank goodness we got a side of sweet potato fries to supplement our meal. The fries saved the day because that aioli sauce was great! I am disappointed. When I walked in , I thought this was going to be a dining experience. Instead , i was wondering if there are any restaurants in Fresno that combine this type of environment -with food that actually tastes good.

Idk. *shrugs* This time we got: Pad Kra Pao, Pad Se-Ew (beef), Yellow Curry (chicken), and Thai Style Papaya Salad for dinner. We each had a different favorite dish out of the three entrees... Pad Se-Ew was mine (noodle head), followed by the Pad Kra Pao (perfect flavor, not too strong on the basil, egg fried just right), then the curry last (I prefer green or red more). The salad was good, refreshing. No spice whatsoever, but we knew that (one of the girls can't handle as much spice). The winner of our dinner? The Thai Tea Flight! I love the option of flights anywhere I go. It gives you the chance to try all the flavors you're curious about without committing to one that you may or may not like. Man... these were amazing. If I had to rank the flavors-- it was a toss-up between the Original Thai Tea and the Ube but since this is the battle of the Thai Teas... the OG gets a slight edge. Both freaking amazing though (we ordered full sizes of these after). Obviously Thai Iced Coffee comes next but coffee should be it's own category. It wins on its own as coffee. The Green Thai Tea came in last for all 3 of us, I believe. It's good, just not as good as the other three... and it's definitely more fragrant? Idk the right word for it. Anyway, I'd make more stops here just for these drinks alone now that i know how good they are. Staff was amazing. Friendly. Attentive. Restaurant still very aesthetic. Their plating of the meals? A+. It was a very good dinner.
