I ordered a lavender mocktail, but it wasn't my favorite. The lavender flavor was a bit too strong and overpowered everything. I was expecting something more subtle. I ended up switching to a Shirley Temple, which I enjoyed much more. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming, and the overall vibe and aesthetic of the place is really cute. We usually go for the teppanyaki experience (Wasabi on Fire style where they cook in front of you), but this time we just wanted something quick and simple. We ordered a side of fried rice, and it was amazing--I would get it every time. I also tried a deep-fried roll with scallops on top. I wanted to try something new, but it wasn't really for me. The combination of the deep-fried roll and cream cheese was a bit too heavy, although the scallops were actually really good. Overall, I'd give the roll a 7/10. We had a birthday party for our grandson last night and it started off very bad. The two girls at the front desk were very uninterested about our party and I wish I could have left. So we stuck it out and the service in the beginning was extremely slow and very dysfunctional. Once our chef came out and started our presentation it was great. Here to celebrate my birthday with 4 of my besties. Arrived at 4:30pm on a Thursday and we were seated right away. Our drink orders were taken and then our server returned to take our dinner order. 2 of us ordered Udon. There is only choice for Udon. It comes hot, temperature hot, not spicy and delicious. I tried oysters for the first time and they were fresh good quality and something I'd order again. Of course we had to get sake. It was good, but to be honest, the portion of meat could've been bigger considering I felt like I was filled up on rice. Or perhaps more veggies? They were mushy. They were very lacking and taste. This used to be our favorite restaurant, all three locations. This is not the first time we've been disappointed. Oddly enough, my father-in-law, who joined us, said the, "smells like my ex" is his favorite menu item here"... yikes! Even though the name is not appetizing, this did look very good. It's a tower of real crab, spicy tuna, tobiko, green onion, mango, avocado & seared salmon. I didn't try this, but my father-in-law swears by it. I ordered the Max roll; shrimp tempura and avocado wrapped in salmon. Then topped with spicy mayo, sriracha, unagi sauce, and tobiko. This roll was very good and I quickly inhaled it! The raw salmon on top was extremely fresh and paired with a spicy mayo and crunchy shrimp tempura; It had all the textures you want in one bite. We also ordered some edamame and fried calamari for the table. The service was on point and our server, Lisa?, was very attentive and checked on us multiple times to make sure we liked our food or needed our drinks refreshed. Which we greatly appreciated, especially because it was so busy on a Wednesday night. Just based off their menu, they have great happy hour options with tons of food and drink deals. The service was decent, the busboys cleared the tables quickly but our server was gone for long periods. They also forgot to make one of our rolls, but made it very quickly once we reminded them. To start, we enjoyed the edamame, seaweed salad, and cucumber salad, which were all fresh and tasty. We then shared multiple different rolls and they were all delicious! We liked one so much we ordered it again, but when it came the second time it was definitely spicier than the first so there was some inconsistency in the roll preparation. My husband and I were craving bento lunch boxes. We were also celebrating an accomplishment. We decided to get takeout from Wassabi On Fire. We have had it before and really liked their lunch. We got there the minute they opened. They took my order and about 30 minutes later our lunch was ready. I got the fried rice, raw tuna, and California roll. It came with a salad and miso soup. My husband got the white rice, cooked salmon, and raw tuna. His also came with miso and salad. Sadly the salad didn't have very much dressing. The fried rice had a lot of black pepper but was pretty good. The tuna was fresh and the California roll was tasty. My husband said he enjoyed his food too. However, it was $50 for both meals. It was pretty pricy for not much protein. If we crave them again we may come back as not very many Japanese spots make these in a bit of a healthier way. But I think we rather eat sushi. read more

The menu however was dirty both times, definitely could have used a good wipe down or an upgrade. Ordered a few rolls and they were all very good however both times there was probably at least one roll that wasn't rolled right and it literally falls apart. This last visit we ordered calamari as an app and it came out last when we were almost done with our sushi. Tasted very salty and it want anything we expected. Only took a bite from it and didn't finish it and was charge the $14, definitely not worth it. Lately our usual sushi spots have been a hit or miss but this place has been pretty solid the times I've gone. Beautiful modern interior, alcohol and sushi bar, plenty of tables and booths and they have teppanyaki dinning. Restrooms are clean. I would definitely return. Absolutely disgusted in the customer service from the employees and management. I would give zero stars if I could. We made a reservation for 6 for 8:30 PM and waited over an hour in the parking lot. We checked in at 8 PM and went back to our cars because it was too cold to stand outside. We returned at 8:25 PM and waited for the other 3 people in our party as they were using the restroom in another establishment near by. A member of our party approached the hostess, in frustration, about their policy on having all parties present to be seated. I admit he was upset when talking with the hostess on how that was fair when us as consumers have been waiting for over an hour and they couldn't bear to wait a few extra minutes for us. Then a lady who claims to be the manager chimes in and literally says to him with her hands out "do you want to eat here or not" in front of a full lobby! The manager showed the same frustration and attitude back which was so shameful on her part instead of attempting to diffuse the situation. When another member of our party tried to interject the manager told him your party will not be seated so we left abruptly because we were all embrassed on how she spoke to us in front of almost 10-15 people. But the whole incident really bothered us. We returned a few minutes later to talk with the manager again about the conflict. I told the manger I understand our family member was mad and upset but as a manager she should never speak to someone like that. How is it okay to tell someone "do you want to eat here or not" when we've been waiting for over an hour and not to mention I'm visibly 7 months pregnant! The manager did approach us in a calmer tone in the conversation and I explained to her I did not appreciate her reciprocating behavior back. What upset me most was 1. the manager denied stating if we wanted to eat or not and 2. the original employee was being so rude and literally said you can get out, IN FRONT OF THE MANAGER. At that point my party and I were extremely upset and disgusted in the way they were handling our complaint. If a manager talks to customers that way it automatically enables the behavior of the employee which exactly happened in this situation. I was yelling out of frustration at this point on their response and blatant disrespect and ignorance. We personally feel we were racially attacked. Princy, the manager and her employees need a serious evaluation. I really hope the owners review the camera footage because you can clearly see from their body language on how they behaved in the entire ordeal. read more

The roll had 7 pieces and weren't cut evenly, the rice was super sticky like it had been overly mixed and the salmon on top didn't look fresh at all. The baked mussel was not cooked long enough. My side salad had frozen pieces of lettuce in it. Please check the salad before serving to a guest. Service was okay... could be more attentive and friendly. read more
