Was told the plate comes with mixed vegetables, unfortunately only got mainly cabbage, bits of carrot, and 1 slice of zucchini

Staff is super friendly and ordering to-go is a quick option when grabbing lunch. Needs more broccoli and zucchini...

The only thing I ordered today was tempura veggies. I am now feeling very sick 3 hours later. The yams were cut very thick and were raw on the inside but I didn't know yams were unsafe to eat raw until google told me. They can make you severely I'll as well so I hope just the stomach pain and vomiting are the end of it. The table was sticky today. I have liked the food in the past but the consistency isn't there and now that I have gotten sick I don't think I will be back. Do you know it's dangerous to serve people this and still served it anyways? And if you didn't one of the chefs in your business should. It's pretty unacceptable

The ramen broth was very tasty, but the spicy chicken was just ok. The tables were a bit sticky but the service was very kind and thoughtful. Overall nice place and I'll be back for a bowl of ramen!

First and foremost, their food is good. (Refer to receipt posts as picture for items ordered.) I enjoyed the Ginger Beef with their delicious and steamed vegetables. My coworkers loved their Downtown Spice Crispy Chicken, Teriyaki Beef tri-tip, teriyaki chicken, and crispy chicken platters. Yelper, Carolina B., was correct in stating their prices are the same as us ordering a full bento box at a sit down restaurant, but worth the awesome selections of the bento. For prices, refer to my receipt. Customer service is negligible. They've never had a person behind the register who wanted to be there for you, the customer. I'm not too fond of dropping into a joint to discover that they'd love to have their downtime back by speeding through serving you. Good news is it's pretty peaceful with lots of space to be away from that disappointment. Overall a 3.4 out of 5 stars.

We discovered this place because we were given a gift card. We are very fortunate to be able to try this place out. The food is delicious! We ordered the beef teriyaki plate as well as the shrimp scampi. The plate options allow you to choose your protein followed by brown or white rice, and choice of veggies or salad. You can do all rice or all veggies. We chose half and half. The sake was crisp and refreshing. Service was excellent. They recommend we save more by ordering the bottle of Sake ($16-not bad at all). Will definitely return.

Chicken Ramen Noodle Soup The soup was really good. Lots of flavor and a big serving. Will definitely be returning for more.

Place is always clean and staff is friendly. Food is great and not too expensive in my opinion. The Chicken ramen soup and the teriyaki chicken and beef plate are my favorites.

A great lunchtime spot during the work week! The staff is always fast, efficient, & attentive. I only wait 5 to 10 minutes for my food. I will say their tables are almost always super sticky, so I use hand sanitizer and napkins to clean my table before eating. A bit on the pricier side, but they do sell sake! Management walks around constantly to make sure customers are satisfied.

We've been here many times, and we always have a great experience. The staff are very nice and remember us each time. Sometimes the chicken can be a bit overcooked or too crispy, but that doesn't happen very often. Overall the food is very good!

This place is pretty good. Lately the service has been a lot better. They even haul out heaters to patio diners upon request. I always opt for the tuna poke and it never disappoints. The warm rice makes the tuna warm which can be *blah* but it still tastes pretty good. The hubby gets spicy crispy chicken and he likes it more than Teriyaki Don which says a lot because he loves that place. LOL

I had a lunch date here today. =) This place is safe and clean. Practiced too! The worker are very nice. I asked if the salmon and tuna bowl was popular and she said yes. It had already been ordered many times today. I ordered that with brown rice and he ordered the crispy chicken. Also two drinks! Love their high tech fountain drink dispenser. You can select diet and pick what flavors you would like. I chose diet cherry. He chose a lemonade flavor. We waited a little while. They got busy. Our food was delivered a little while later. It's a good place to sit back and enjoy getting to talk and get to know him. Vice versa too. The food was really good! My bowl was fresh and tasty! Good sauces to top it with including sriracha sauce to spice it up. Leftovers too! My date enjoyed his too and he had leftovers as well! I wanted to get a diet cherry refill before we left, but it said no diet drinks were available. Bummer! Good service and food! Recommended!

After a long day at work, we didn't want to cook or feel like eating leftovers so we decided to check this place out. Not impressed...Customer service was friendly but not friendly enough to check on us after waiting over 30min for our to go order. Their spicy crispy chicken wasn't worth the wait nor lived up to the hype I've been hearing folks rave about. Their prices seem almost the same if I were to dine in at a Japanese restaurant and order a Bento Box. Definitely not fast food and not fast food prices. They offered us a freebie meal for next time. I'm still deciding if I should give them a second chance or give it away as a stocking stuffer. *California Rolls aren't on the Menu at this location

Known for its customizable ramen bowls with flavorful broths and a wide variety of toppings, as well as, other menu items like rice bowls, bentos, and dumplings, Tsuchiya Ramen definitely lived up to it's almost 5 star Yelp reviews. The waitress was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly once our order was taken ~ less than 10 mins for sure! I ordered the spicy miso ramen ($17.99) with a sweet corn side (+$1.50) and complimentary topping of the fried garlic. The hakata (thin style noodles) were perfectly cooked, with a lil al dente bit to them. It had all the trimmings that I like ~ green onion, chashu, jammy egg, crunchy wood ear mushrooms, naruto fish cake, marinated bamboo, and nori. The broth was authentic, flavored with such depth. You can really taste the slow-cooked, miso quality in it. I loved the fried garlicky taste too! It was the right level of spice, I didn't even need to add any chili oil, like I usually do. My picky daughter opt'd for the "make your own ramen" option (starting at $12.99) ~ getting the same hakata thin noodle with tonkatsu broth, chashu (+$3.25), fried tofu (+$2.50), and freebie toppings of nori, sesame seeds & fried garlic. My son ordered the OG tonkatsu ramen w/ extra marinated bamboo (+$2) on the side. Lastly, the hubs wanted to eat lighter & healthier, so he opt'd for the teriyaki chicken rice bowl. Everyone loved their meal pick. Dare I say..I even think it ranks better than some of the ramen joints in the OC. Who knew Fresno was poppin' in the foodie dept? Lol A total RxFoodie recommend and I'd return if I'm ever in the area again!

Throughout the service, our server never offered us water or came to check up on us. It was an off vibe like they were having a bad day and it resonated to us. The food was a big letdown. We ordered the agedashi tofu, earthquake roll, big boy, fireball roll, and a sashimi appetizer. Each item we ordered had an issue. The agedashi tofu was super bland and the broth didn't pair well with it. I've had this dish several times at other locations and this wasn't up to par. The rolls were drowning in sauce and ruined their texture. The rice was also overcooked and very soggy. Soggy rice drowning in sauce is not a good combination. Lastly, the sashimi appetizer was served lukewarm. Each piece of fish had a mushy texture instead of being firm, and it didn't taste fresh. Perhaps serving them on top of ice to keep it cold would help. Plus, the miso soup was very salty. Overall, it was a very disappointing first visit, and unfortunately, I don't see myself coming back.

The bacon fried rice added a rich and savory flavor that complemented the meal well. Overall, another satisfying experience, and I'll definitely be coming back again.

Hostess staff are polite and congenial. The teppan servers do the absolute bare minimum, but they…read moremay have a lot of tables. The teppan chef we had last was Ruben. All his food was pretty good. The drinks were awful. My husband asked for a Vodka soda and was given a vodka tonic. At first we thought maybe the server heard wrong, but since the server wasn't around at all we walked it over to the bar ourselves and asked the bartender to remake it since the bar was completely empty (I mean not one soul) at 7:45 on a Saturday night. The second drink the bartender gave us was a vodka sprite. Maybe we should have specified soda means seltzer. Dinner bill for 3 adults and 2 kids was $250 plus tips. The food was decent but the service was underwhelming and subpar for spending that type of cash. Especially since the server seemed like anything we asked her was asking her to go out of her way. For example, we had to ask for straws, chopsticks, refills on water etc.

Ok, so we had a birthday dinner here and I was too occupied being a host to take photos of…read moreeverything, but we had the shrimp and veggie tempura (8/10- basic), vegetable egg rolls (6/10), monkey balls (9/10) for appetizers. We got the booty booty deep fried and not- both were 10/10. The OMG, Superstar, a spicy one and the one on spoons (my friend ordered the last two so I don't remember the names) we're all 10/10. We also had the Asian chicken salad (8/10) and the udon noodles with tempura, miso soup (5/10), and chicken wings (I didn't try these but they looked delicious). Other party members had salmon salads and another roll- they said it was very good. The whiskey flights and selection were pretty cool. I only tried a couple and they were nice. Our flight was ~$50 and we got another whiskey after that along with a lemon drop (very smooth 8/10). With 6 appetizers for the table, 3 rolls, udon with tempura, miso soup, 3 desserts, whiskey flight, 2oz whiskey, coke, iced tea, strawberry lemonade, wings, and chicken salad + the 20% mandatory gratuity for a large party and tax, we spent just over $600. So pretty dang expensive, but we enjoyed the food and ambience. The service was decent- not amazing, not poor. Overall, we were happy and will be going back for more whiskey flights soon.
