Pick any 2 for $18 (Lunch special). Salmon/Tuna Poke bowl & Spicy Crispy Chicken bowl.

Yummy! Just moved to the area and found this little hidden spot. Loved the lunch special (Pick any two items for $18). I picked a poke bowl with 1/2 salmon & 1/2 tuna and a spicy crispy chicken bowl. Excellent and the price was excellent too.

Made a reservation but came a bit earlier and they were still able to seat us. Place didn't seem to have a wait for dinner on Saturday but the tables were filled. The place could be a bit cleaner - there was food/crumbs on the chairs. The staff cleaned it up quickly when I asked. They were also very helpful and friendly throughout our meal. Got the karaage and ebi tempura to start - the batter/breading on both weren't what you normally get. The karaage was almost like those frozen chicken tenders. Tempura was okay (sauce lacked oroshi). For the entrees, we got the dragon roll, crunchy roll, and katana roll - all pretty decent, just your typical rolls. We also got the chicken yakisoba and uni pasta with the fresh uni and roe. The uni pasta was probably the highlight of the meal, though $10 for a piece of uni felt like a robbery. Not sure I would come back

I had lunch with my son at Namikaze and this place is excellent. Their spicy tuna and beef bowl are amazing! Great sushi place in the Fresno area.

Trying this place for the first time. Saturday are busy and for the looks of it they get pretty busy. I ordered on line for take out. They were going to take an hour to have it ready. But luckily they make it shorter to 10 min. We order sushi and fried rice. The sushi was called tofu lover. This is a vegan sushi. It had tofu in top and cucumbers, avocado, tofu, and asparagus. They were dipped in a sauce. They also ask you what type of sauces you like to dip them in and I got the spicy shriracha and the spicy mayo. The sushi was very delicious only that it seemed very small. I wanted more after I finished it. The fried rice was very good too. The ambiance is very familiar. I saw ladies having fun. Families enjoying their dinner and young people too. There is plenty of parking in front and around the place.

I have to admit that this is my favorite sushi restaurant among other goodies offered, it's clean, friendly and very professional. The service here is beyond average and I completely trust their recommendations when it comes to both drinks and food. With the expanded bar the accommodations are even better when it comes so larger groups, with an open floor plan and room to visit and or watch sports...something for everyone.

We were looking for a new sushi place to try so we ended up here. when I walked in, it looked small, but then I realized there was a whole back room and a bar area. I wasn't graded as soon as I walk in but a couple minutes later someone finally said I'll be right with you .The place could be a little cleaner and some of the fixtures were broken. I will say our waitress was really nice but not super attentive. We started with spicy garlic edamame, which was OK. We got muscles and a crunchy. My favorite was the crunchy. It was really good. The sake was really bad that we couldn't even finish the bottle. I'm giving this place three stars because there's a lot of clutter insight and the food was mediocre.

Brought my Hubs here for his birthday dinner and we enjoyed ourselves. The service is very friendly and quick and the rolls are very flavorful (our favorite was the Katana). Good location in the shopping center with ample parking stalls.

So pleased with my first experience here! I just picked up an order to go but will definitely be back in the future. The inside was welcoming and clean. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by staff letting us know someone would be with us shortly. The spicy chicken katsu bowl was so good, I ordered with a side of hot & spicy and it was delish. My sister had the grilled chicken bowl and really enjoyed it as well. I'm really looking forward to my next visit to check out their sushi options!

We were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. The location is clean and nice. We were greeted by the sushi chefs when we entered so it was nice. We ordered the chicken gyozas which were soft and not crispy. The Philadelphia roll was very delicious. The EBI shrimp tempura roll was also very delicious and probably one of the best ones I have had in Fresno. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen which the broth was super flavorful and I enjoyed it but I didn't like the pork that was inside. It was very fatty and squishy and thick. I ended up taking it out and will order the beef next time. Overall we ended up paying $60 and the service was good. We will be returning to try more items out.

first time visiting and was a nice experience. waitress was nice and attentive. ordered the grilled teriyaki salmon rice bowl, modified the rice to make it fried rice, modified the bacon to make it spam. the bowl was very good , the fried rice was yummy and also added some spicy mayo with teriyaki sauce.

Tried out Namizake Sushi for lunch, and it turned out to be a great choice for the day. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they offer lunch specials, which I hadn't known about before. You can pick two items, and I chose the Crispy Spicy Chicken Rice Bowl and the Ebi Shrimp Roll. Luckily, it wasn't very busy when I arrived, though the crowd did pick up towards the end of my meal. When the food arrived, I was impressed by how delicious it looked. The portions were definitely bigger than I expected. The sushi was fresh and even better with the ginger provided. The chicken was delicious--very crispy and fresh. It wasn't very spicy, but I actually preferred it that way! Overall, it was a great experience and a fantastic lunch special. They also offer a variety of seating options, including low and high top tables, as well as a sushi bar area. Definitely worth a visit!

I have gone in at pretty busy times and never needed a reservation.

Hi! I was very curious if anyone knew if you can still order that maki roll tray and how much is it?

Yes, you can. It's $60 and you need to order a day in advance but you might be able to get it same day.

What kind of crab do you use in your rolls?

Imitation crab salad unless real crab is requested then there is an extra charge

It was quite an interesting industrial, unfinished aesthetic. Definitely nostalgic and made me miss my fixed up white Acura Integra..ala 2001. Yea..I'm a girl and yea I use to race. ;) Such a good pit stop on our family's Spring Break road trip to Yosemite. It definitely refueled us for the rest of our journey. Known for its customizable ramen bowls with flavorful broths and a wide variety of toppings, as well as, other menu items like rice bowls, bentos, and dumplings, Tsuchiya Ramen definitely lived up to it's almost 5 star Yelp reviews. The waitress was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly once our order was taken ~ less than 10 mins for sure! I ordered the spicy miso ramen ($17.99) with a sweet corn side (+$1.50) and complimentary topping of the fried garlic. The hakata (thin style noodles) were perfectly cooked, with a lil al dente bit to them. It had all the trimmings that I like ~ green onion, chashu, jammy egg, crunchy wood ear mushrooms, naruto fish cake, marinated bamboo, and nori. The broth was authentic, flavored with such depth. You can really taste the slow-cooked, miso quality in it. I loved the fried garlicky taste too! It was the right level of spice, I didn't even need to add any chili oil, like I usually do. My picky daughter opt'd for the "make your own ramen" option (starting at $12.99) ~ getting the same hakata thin noodle with tonkatsu broth, chashu (+$3.25), fried tofu (+$2.50), and freebie toppings of nori, sesame seeds & fried garlic. My son ordered the OG tonkatsu ramen w/ extra marinated bamboo (+$2) on the side. Lastly, the hubs wanted to eat lighter & healthier, so he opt'd for the teriyaki chicken rice bowl. Everyone loved their meal pick. Dare I say..I even think it ranks better than some of the ramen joints in the OC. Who knew Fresno was poppin' in the foodie dept? Lol A total RxFoodie recommend and I'd return if I'm ever in the area again!

Great tasting ramen!…read more My family and I made this place a pit-stop for dinner on a Sacramento to Los Angeles trip. Our original target was the Fresno location, but due to a GPS entry error, we ended up at their Clovis location! It was a little longer drive than usual, but still well-worth the drive. And besides, we were on a family long weekend break so who cares about distance... Our orders were quickly taken on the counter and we were off to find our table. A lot of places to choose from inside and outside seating was also available. And the place was nicely decorated and well-lit! Feels comfortable to dine inside! The menu was quite expansive. And you even have the choice of minor changes to the regular menu. I ordered an Oxtail Ramen...a first of this kind for me, so I just had to have it. And it passed with flying colors! Weird ingredient...but absolutely tasty! And at a really affordable price range! You just have to try our this place when you're in the area! You will love it!

Good amount of tables and seats. Simple, minimal decor and it was clean, from what I can remember. He got the Shoyu Ramen (#2) and I got the Spicy Miso Ramen (#4). We both agreed the broth wasn't as hot as we'd like and could use just a touch more flavor. Both were okay, but I preferred my broth more. I wish I paid attention to the fact that mine came with THIN noods though... I feel like I would've enjoyed my dish way more with thick noodles. To be honest, I should have done the build-your-own Ramen and selected everything I wanted myself... now I know. You live and you learn. The Wontons were good but we didn't eat much of it, as it came out the same time as the ramen. Once the ramen was served, our main focus was on that and that filled us up! Packed the rest to go. For this being our first time, it wasn't bad but it didn't wow us. If I'm being honest, so far-- the best Ramen we've ever had was in a small little shop we found while in Thailand back in March (yup, Thailand!). Unfair to this rating maybe? But-- every ramen I try will be compared to that now (sorry, it was THAT good). Until next time, which there will be a next time (just unsure how soon that will be)... they get a middle placement.

Whether you're craving sushi, teriyaki, or ramen, they really have something for everyone. The sushi and sashimi are incredibly fresh -- honestly some of the freshest fish we've had at any sushi restaurant. It tastes like the chef went out and caught it that morning. The 14-piece sashimi platter with a couple of rolls was more than enough for two people, and everything was excellent quality. The ramen is also fantastic, but fair warning: the bowls are HUGE, so definitely come hungry. Their garlic edamame is absolutely addictive, and we really enjoyed the poke in the seaweed poke salad, though the dish does lean very heavily on the seaweed, so just keep that in mind before ordering. Throughout the service, our server never offered us water or came to check up on us. It was an off vibe like they were having a bad day and it resonated to us. The food was a big letdown. We ordered the agedashi tofu, earthquake roll, big boy, fireball roll, and a sashimi appetizer. Each item we ordered had an issue. The agedashi tofu was super bland and the broth didn't pair well with it. I've had this dish several times at other locations and this wasn't up to par. The rolls were drowning in sauce and ruined their texture. The rice was also overcooked and very soggy. Soggy rice drowning in sauce is not a good combination. Lastly, the sashimi appetizer was served lukewarm. Each piece of fish had a mushy texture instead of being firm, and it didn't taste fresh. Perhaps serving them on top of ice to keep it cold would help. Plus, the miso soup was very salty. Overall, it was a very disappointing first visit, and unfortunately, I don't see myself coming back.
