Fresh and good quality fish. We had the mango Fresno roll, the octopus with jalapeño, a sashimi platter and miso soup. This is a hidden gem! Definitely recommend. They have fresh wasabi, non-alcoholic Sapporo unfiltered sake, flavored soju! Service was good. Our waitress was polite and knowledgeable about the dishes. They were busy but overall, the service was good. Music was good. Loud but you can have a conversation without yelling. Definitely coming back. Prices are reasonable for the portions and good quality of the dishes.

The prettiest plate of food I've ever gotten served. I went in around noon it wasn't too busy but everyone was really nice and welcoming. The service was quick and easy. The sushi chef is so nice for plating this up for me so beautifully. It made my pregnant self very happy bcas I was starving when I got in haha. Cute place tucked away but definitely doesn't miss in flavor and presentation. I will be back again.

I wanted to try a sushi place we haven't tried before and decided on this place. We ordered to go. Service was excellent. They were very attentive. The place looked busy. Inside was cute. We went with sashimi salad. That came with a mixture of different fish, a bed of lettuce mix, seaweed salad and supposed to be a spicy sauce. It was pretty expensive. I think $24? We did get a lot of different fish pieces tho which tasted good, but the dressing was okay. Kinda bland after it sat in the lettuce. Tasted a lil watery after that. Not spicy. Would've loved more seaweed salad in it. My son wanted nigiri so got him the octopus and ono (butterfish). He liked both but some parts of the octopus ends was rubbery to him. I ordered the Snow White roll, and my bf ordered the blonde bombshell roll. They were both delicious. Comes with wasabi and pickled ginger. The fish here taste fresh.

Food is always top tier I love their sushi combo. My boyfriend orders the beef bento box and loves it every time. Service is always fast no matter how packed it gets and we've gone so much they started to say see you guys next time. It's really great it's our go to spot after Sendai Sushi closed. 10/10 would recommend

My family, friends, and I are all regulars at Sushi Day. They have attentive waiters, and have operated for a very long time with the same delicious menu, nice decor, and friendly staff. We usually order the OMG Roll, which is stacked with extra toppings and just absolutely delicious. Other than that roll, we love the Rainbow Roll and the Baked Hamachi. The Rainbow has delicious fresh fish and avocado and a variety of fish while the Baked Hamachi is closer to a sushi bake with delicious cooked meat on top of the roll. Needless to say, we will continue going to Sushi Day!

Ordered the I.D.K. roll and Tiger roll. The tiger roll was on the plainer side (probably won't order it again). The I.D.K. roll was good. It was busy so I wasn't sure how to do a take-out order because there's no hostess area or cashier at the front. Thankfully one of the sushi chef noticed me and waved for me to go to the sushi bar and he took my order too.

We are repeat customers and have had fresh, delicious sushi. The Touch Me is delicious (asked for no Salmon, only Tuna). Husband enjoyed The Climax. He said he'd order it again.

The menu presented extensive and adventurous options that as first timers could have been intimidating but with the help of Donavin our delightful server, we selected the perfect seafood salad for the Mrs. and the curated selection of Maki (delicious sushi "tacos") that together made for the perfect share. Add to that a smooth Japanese beer and a surprisingly moderate overcast that made our dinner on the patio the perfect way to celebrate our first meeting 47 years ago. There were so many other tempting menu options that we'll look forward to sampling on our next for sure visit. Hopefully we will have the pleasure of having Donavin as our server even though our observation is that all the young people serving are helpful and gracious . Whether you're craving sushi, teriyaki, or ramen, they really have something for everyone. The sushi and sashimi are incredibly fresh -- honestly some of the freshest fish we've had at any sushi restaurant. It tastes like the chef went out and caught it that morning. The 14-piece sashimi platter with a couple of rolls was more than enough for two people, and everything was excellent quality. The ramen is also fantastic, but fair warning: the bowls are HUGE, so definitely come hungry. Their garlic edamame is absolutely addictive, and we really enjoyed the poke in the seaweed poke salad, though the dish does lean very heavily on the seaweed, so just keep that in mind before ordering. Cassidy is new to the restaurant and waited on us. an Shewas wonderful -- super friendly, attentive, patient, and just genuinely great service all around. The only downside was the new menu design. The font is extremely tiny, printed on a small laminated sheet, and honestly very difficult to read. Hopefully they make the text larger in the future because the food itself is outstanding. Overall, highly recommend Shobu if you're looking for fresh sushi, excellent sashimi, hearty ramen, and great service.

The moment we walked in and sat down to our table, we did't feel welcomed. Our server was very short with us and seemed annoyed. Initially, they were pushy on having us order assuming we have been there before. It was our first time and we didn't even get a chance to look at the menu yet as we just sat down. Throughout the service, our server never offered us water or came to check up on us. It was an off vibe like they were having a bad day and it resonated to us. The food was a big letdown. We ordered the agedashi tofu, earthquake roll, big boy, fireball roll, and a sashimi appetizer. Each item we ordered had an issue. The agedashi tofu was super bland and the broth didn't pair well with it. I've had this dish several times at other locations and this wasn't up to par. The rolls were drowning in sauce and ruined their texture. The rice was also overcooked and very soggy. Soggy rice drowning in sauce is not a good combination. Lastly, the sashimi appetizer was served lukewarm. Each piece of fish had a mushy texture instead of being firm, and it didn't taste fresh. Perhaps serving them on top of ice to keep it cold would help. Plus, the miso soup was very salty. Overall, it was a very disappointing first visit, and unfortunately, I don't see myself coming back.

All his food was pretty good. The drinks were awful. My husband asked for a Vodka soda and was given a vodka tonic. At first we thought maybe the server heard wrong, but since the server wasn't around at all we walked it over to the bar ourselves and asked the bartender to remake it since the bar was completely empty (I mean not one soul) at 7:45 on a Saturday night. The second drink the bartender gave us was a vodka sprite. Maybe we should have specified soda means seltzer. Dinner bill for 3 adults and 2 kids was $250 plus tips. The food was decent but the service was underwhelming and subpar for spending that type of cash. Especially since the server seemed like anything we asked her was asking her to go out of her way. For example, we had to ask for straws, chopsticks, refills on water etc.

I will say the service is VERY quick, but unfortunately their quality has definitely gone down. It used to take them about 5 to 10 minutes getting these bowls ready with fresh ingredients. This time around it took them like 1 minute from the moment I paid.. which is great in the sense of time..but not great for the quality of the ingredients. I ordered their Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with 2 pieces of their California Roll. The chicken was shredded when it used to come in cut up pieces. The chicken felt stale and dry, as if it was made ahead of time and just sitting to be reheated as someone ordered. My bowl came with no veggies whatsoever, except for the chopped green onions for flavor and garnish. The rice to chicken ratio was unpleasant. I feel like I ordered rice with a side of chicken. The two pieces of California Rolls were definitely made ahead of time. The Nori was soft and observed the moisture. The flavors within the sushi were good though. The ratio of rice and avocado, plus the other condiments came together well. This was accompanied with some teriyaki sauce you pour over your teriyaki bowl and some wasabi sauce to add to your sushi if you wished to do so. The service itself was not rude, but also not the best. With everything put together, I'm pretty disappointed in my returning experience here. It was such a good place from what I remember. I'm not sure if it's new ownership or leadership since I was last here, but it is definitely not the same quality that made me want to keep coming back before.
