Just grabbed a roll from this cute food truck while I was out here at Crow & Wolf. I always thought sushi from a food truck seemed a bit strange, but I checked out their page and the fish looked really fresh, so I thought I'd give it a go. The woman who helped me was nice--just standard service. I ordered my roll and was handed a little pager thing to wait for my order to be ready. Once it was ready, I was handed the roll in a styrofoam box and went to eat it at a table. I got the orange dragon roll, and it was absolutely delicious. The salmon was some of the freshest-tasting (and texture) I've ever had! Not to mention everything else in the roll complimented it perfectly. Definitely check them out. read more

Love the sushi here! Super convenient especially when they come to my place of employment! Their rice is so soft and give great portions. They use buzzers to tell you your food is ready so that's a plus for me because I like to look at other trucks while waiting for my food. The only thing is the price can be a little pricy. Walking up to Crow and Wolf and seeing a sushi food truck had me half interested and half confused. After hearing the bartenders rave about the sushi, I gave it a try... and they were right! The Grobak Sushi menu is limited with 14-sushi rolls offered and three other items; takoyaki balls, gyoza, and spam musubi. I went with my bartenders recommendation and ordered the Orange Dragon roll. This is tempura fried shrimp, spicy crab, cucumber, and topped with salmon. I know this isn't traditional sushi, but it was still delicious! Everything tasted extremely fresh and really hit the spot. From the time we ordered to the time, our food was done was less than 10-minutes. I normally opt for soy wrap, sushi, which they did have and I greatly appreciated. If you're out and about and see this food truck at a farmers market or your local brewery parking lot, do not save on this and order some sushi ASAP! read more

Honestly everything I've tried from this food truck has been so good, but I'd especially like to give recognition to the spam musubi! They add their own little touch and it is the best I've had in Fresno! The workers are always so nice and helpful when explaining things. I've tried the orange dragon, monte carlo, and hamachi lover (all at different times). orange dragon: I ordered this during Fresno City College Sake Garden event. I don't remember much, except that it tasted mediocre and not worth the almost $20. monte carlo: This food truck frequents FCC campus. For lunch, I decided to give them another try. I wanted a sushi roll with lemon but I also crave eel. Monte Carlo had eel so I chose that. I gave them a tip and asked kindly if they could add one slice of lemon. The older lady said no and that she couldn't. (I understand as a business you cannot just give out ingredients willy nilly.) The roll was delicious! I was glad I gave them another chance... UNTIL... hamachi lover: I finally felt I could splurge a bit for lunch again, and decided to get this roll since it was the only roll that came with a lemon slice. I ordered and tipped again. When received, there was no lemon slice! I asked her and she said she did not have any. SO FRUSTRATING and DISAPPOINTING! I understand that food trucks can run out of ingredients BUT it was barely minutes after 11:00am (which is when they first opened). So they just weren't prepared. That shows a lack of care and lack of disclosure. If I had known that the lemon was out, I would've ordered the monte carlo roll instead. The hamachi lover roll was mediocre and was falling apart while eating. It really needed that lemon juice to brighten up the yellow tail. Not to mention, the lady was UNapologetic. Every ingredient on each roll should be intentional and if you're serving a roll with a missing ingredient, the least you should do is to disclose that to the customer. They came to visit my workplace and I've been dying to try it for a while! The owners were really sweet in sending me photos of their menu on IG, so I already knew what I wanted to get. I ordered the Monte Carlo roll and takoyaki. My friend ordered the Hamachi roll. Both were super fresh and delicious! The takoyaki was okay, I don't really like it when it's super mushy in the middle. Overall a great experience, it's just that everything is super expensive. It's a once in a while treat. read more

To start off very friendly staff. I was greeted and helped with the menu which was sweet and simple. We ordered the hamachi lover roll, rainbow roll, unagi dragon roll, and Cali roll. All the sushi rolls were delicious! Nicely made and packed together. The construction of the sushi was good, it was balanced of rice and protein. The fish tasted fresh and well prepared. I was definitely full from that meal, or maybe my eyes were bigger than my stomach! Lol. I can't wait to return and try their rice bowls. My ordered came out super fast and got the order within 3-5 mins. read more

Got a Philadelphia roll at the Riverpark farmers market. It was AMAZING! I am a huge sushi lover, it was hands down the best Philly roll I've had since moving to the Central Valley. Great portion of salmon, great flavor. Chefs kiss. read more

I got the Hamachi Lover roll. It was pretty good and did not taste 'fishy'. I thought prices on rolls are a bit high for a food truck including basic spicy tuna roll which was $12. That stopped me from ordering another roll. It was near my house so I stopped by to try. Service was nice. read more

Fresh sushi, friendly and quick service, I was very impressed. I was initially skeptical of buying sushi from a food truck but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a basic spicy tuna roll and it was super fresh and delicious with 6 pieces that comes packaged with soy sauce, wassabi, ginger and chopsticks. My sister ordered a golden dragon (deep fried) roll and it was delicious as well with a good amount of spicy crab on top. My friend got a Korean corn dog which was half cheese and a half sausage. It was a little small compared to what other places offer but it had great flavor. I would definitely seek this food truck out again. read more

Attended a Fresno Street Eats event. Craving sushi but couldn't have raw sushi so we asked what they offered in their cooked sushi menu and they only had 2 options the tempura roll and Cali. I ordered the tempura roll. I was delicious and very filling, the wasabi looked old and should have asked for soy sauce which wasn't included in the bag. Also wanted to try the macaroons but we were so disappointed that they ran out at the time. The service was great, they were very friendly. Prices were reasonable. Attended their soft opening today! Excellent customer service and prices are reasonable. I'm so glad they are joining Fresno Street Eats too. They are really quick and I'm glad everything is going so smooth as it's their first day. I would definitely order again. Everything was really yummy! I tried their one of their rolls with eel and was completely surprised at how good it was. I was expecting similar quality to the sushi I get buy from Sprouts or WinCo on occasion, but this sushi was even better than some of the restaurants I've been to. The quality and presentation was excellent, and they were able to prepare it rather quickly even though the roll included tempura. I think I waited maybe 8 minutes for it at the most, and everything was absolutely delicious! read more

I absolutely LOVE this sushi! This is the first food truck I've ever "stalked" online. I'd chase them around the city if I had to. The Golden roll is my favorite. The warm cream cheese and crispy outside is AMAZING. Plus the people are so nice. 10/10 will stalk again. read more

Was not huge fan...got the one with the salmon and the one with the tuna and spicy tuna, the samon was fine but the tuna was bad (had turned). Got both because wanted to try. Want to give 2.5 stars but yelp gives option between 2 and 3 so opted for 2 . spending $36 for half the food to be good other half not good flipped the dice Maybe you'll have a good experience give it a shot anyway but I probably won't read more

My family went to the food trucks at Sierra Vista Mall today and we are glad we did. My son decided he wanted to try Grobak Sushi. He was hungry so he sat down and started eating. We grabbed our food and sat down with him. He said he was eating the best sushi roll he ever had. He gave us a bite and it was absolutely amazing. We were so impressed we got back in line and bought another Golden Dragon Roll. The staff was beyond polite and professional. A very nice gentleman in the truck noticed me and said "you came back". I told him the roll was so good I had to get another one and I brought some more of my family with me to get some as well. The gentleman on the truck gave me complimentary egg rolls which were amazing also. During this pandemic it's not easy to find amazing food and amazing service. This group of workers were amazing and made our experience greet. We will be back next week. 6 out of 5 stars guys! Keep it up!! read more

Negative stars if possible but that's not the case. I really wanted to like this place, but my experience was not good. Prices on these rolls are super expensive as the sizes of the rolls are super small. If I'm going to pay $14-$15 for a specialty roll, they better be bigger than a California roll. In this case, it wasn't. The sliced fish on the top of the rolls was so thin that there's barely any fish on the roll. The rice was stale, tasteless. You couldn't even taste the vinegar or sugar. The wasabi was old that no matter how much I mixed it in the soy sauce, it wouldn't breakdown. The flavor of the wasabi wasn't strong either. Having smoked salmon in a Philly roll is def going the cheaper route for suppling better salmon for that roll. Smoked salmon does not go well with sushi, period. I'm definitely not going back and will not recommend. Do better. Sushi is supposed to be fresh and delicious, especially with how much you're charging for the rolls, and I was just very disappointed. read more

I was in Fresno for the weekend visiting family and I stopped by a food truck event down the street and I was super impressed by the quality of good coming out of this truck. I've had sushi from a lot of high end restaurants and this was just as good as or better than some of the most expensive meals I have had. Definitely don't pass this truck by if you see it out you won't be disappointed. read more

Limited hours of operation (for me)... Definitely have to…read morego straight after work if I want to catch them on the weekdays (I'm out by 5-530 rush hour, they close at 7). They're downtown, I'm in Fig Garden. Picture painted? They are closed on the weekends (good for them, not us). I really enjoyed the food in this establishment each time (3) that I've been here... however, this last visit was probably the "worst" of the prior visits (service-wise). The wait for our food was verrrrrry long, our waitress never bothered to check on us or do any refills-- she was more focused on getting her closing shift duties done. I'm all about that-- but I'm damn good at multi-tasking so... idk. Another lady had to pick up her slack but only when we were done eating were we then offered more water (my glass was empty for a while). Our waitress came to give us our check though, ha. My first time here (which I'll have pics of food from that visit as well) was remarkable... like, amazing. Food, service, and all. Might have been with the right crowd, at the right time though... I'd say. They knew exactly what to order too-- all I wanted for sure was the Salmon Spoons (delish). I can't name everything in all the photos I will be attaching except for the goods in my most recent visit. The food has been consistently good... I have no complaints in that department whatsoever. Service, meh. There's very limited space in here as well... not too many tables inside. I felt like we were very close to the other tables. I do believe I remember them serving tables outside as well? I could be wrong. If it was on the food alone, they'd be a 4-5. But, with the inconsistencies with service... 3-4. Common denominator? 4 it is.

It was quite an interesting industrial, unfinished aesthetic. Definitely nostalgic and made me miss my fixed up white Acura Integra..ala 2001. Yea..I'm a girl and yea I use to race. ;) Such a good pit stop on our family's Spring Break road trip to Yosemite. It definitely refueled us for the rest of our journey. Known for its customizable ramen bowls with flavorful broths and a wide variety of toppings, as well as, other menu items like rice bowls, bentos, and dumplings, Tsuchiya Ramen definitely lived up to it's almost 5 star Yelp reviews. The waitress was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly once our order was taken ~ less than 10 mins for sure! I ordered the spicy miso ramen ($17.99) with a sweet corn side (+$1.50) and complimentary topping of the fried garlic. The hakata (thin style noodles) were perfectly cooked, with a lil al dente bit to them. It had all the trimmings that I like ~ green onion, chashu, jammy egg, crunchy wood ear mushrooms, naruto fish cake, marinated bamboo, and nori. The broth was authentic, flavored with such depth. You can really taste the slow-cooked, miso quality in it. I loved the fried garlicky taste too! It was the right level of spice, I didn't even need to add any chili oil, like I usually do. My picky daughter opt'd for the "make your own ramen" option (starting at $12.99) ~ getting the same hakata thin noodle with tonkatsu broth, chashu (+$3.25), fried tofu (+$2.50), and freebie toppings of nori, sesame seeds & fried garlic. My son ordered the OG tonkatsu ramen w/ extra marinated bamboo (+$2) on the side. Lastly, the hubs wanted to eat lighter & healthier, so he opt'd for the teriyaki chicken rice bowl. Everyone loved their meal pick. Dare I say..I even think it ranks better than some of the ramen joints in the OC. Who knew Fresno was poppin' in the foodie dept? Lol A total RxFoodie recommend and I'd return if I'm ever in the area again!

Can custom your ramen but the pre-set menu is tasty. The shrimp fried rice and takoyaki were also very good. Prices for dishes were well-worth it. Will come back again. Thank you.
