This cute little boba chain finally has a restaurant here and I'm so glad! The whole place is small but full of fun and well decorated. We came in for the Neopets promotion and ordered the "Aisha" bubble tea. It was just the right amount of sweet, with fresh, soft boba with just the right amount of chewiness. The counter folk were friendly and when we asked to buy the promotional blind box we were informed that they were sold out but they let us buy the display item which really made my day! I been wanting to try this place out and since I was right next door I finally went. They have like three kiosk so u can order from it if lines are long or if the dude is busy helping someone else out. It was only one guy working. It was nice and clean in there. I ordered off the kiosk. They sound like they have some good drinks judging from the menu. I ended up getting the biscoff milk tea cus I seen the picture of it at the front of the door. It tasted just like what it was.. a milk tea with a biscoff flavor. It even had pieces of biscoff on top of the drink and came with boba. The boba pearls must've just been made cus the ice melted a lot and the drink was cold in one area and warm in another. Idk what it was but I like for my drink to be cold cold. I'm so glad we have a Gong Cha in Fresno now! I felt like I was missing out forever since Visalia has one, and I really enjoyed visiting Gong Cha when I travel abroad, so I'm so happy to have one nearby now. Personally I'm a fruit tea person, so I typically get the passionfruit green tea with coconut jelly, and it definitely hits the spot. It's a bit pricey, and a little more on the tart side of typical passionfruit flavor, but I still love it. I also got to try their peach star jelly, and that was really good, just not the type that I would put in a strong/sweet fruit tea. Would probably put it more in a jasmine green tea. Either way, the staff is fantastic here. They are very kind and receptive to customers, even when they might be slow or make a mistake. My first time visiting Gong Cha and I immediately noticed how it was a very well kept and tidy place! I loved the many outlets and places to sit-- great for studying or doing work. We were served very quickly by the staff too. I tried the Creme Brûlée Brown Sugar milk tea. I'd rate the boba 3.5/5. They had a good bite to them. If you like chewy boba, you'll get a nice jaw workout with these! The creme brûlée foam was a 2/5 for me. I wasn't getting much of that smoky, sugary charred taste to it. It just tasted like a lightly sweetened milk foam. The tea itself was a 4/5! Delicious tea flavor. If you're getting the Ai-Yu jelly-- beware! You can't really drink them through the straw. The order: I got three 3 drinks, the crème brûlée strawberry latte is just a perfect summer drink. It has jammed strawberries on the bottom, just the perfect amount of sweetness. When stirred up and ready to drink, it's just tastes like your strawberry shortcake. I love winter melon milk tea so I had to get it here, exactly how I imagined it, just great. I love the flavor of winter melon, and the sweetness as is was just fine. My husband also got the Earl Gray milk tea with 3j's was sooo good. I love the boba and herbal jelly in it. The tea itself was nice and rich, the toppings added a nice layer of texture and flavor. Overall, all the drinks were great! I hope this team in fresno continue to make delicious milk tea! You order on a kiosk and choose what you want from there. Can adjust your drink to your liking. Inside is cute, there are 2 ppl tables and a few 4 ppl tables! Took about a 15-17 min wait to get our drinks. A total of 3 drinks were ordered. I got the strawberry yakult w/ star jelly. This was really good! I'd give it a 9/10. It was really sweet, I didn't see an option to adjust the sugar level on this drink specifically? (if I did I would try it with a lower sweetness level). The star jelly is tasty and sweet so it amplified the sugar for me. I really like yakult drinks so this hit the spot for me overall! My sister got the strawberry matcha latte w/ oat milk and 100% sweetness! She'd rate it a 6.5/10. She liked it overall, but has had better matcha elsewhere! Matcha flavor was present but wouldn't get again here. I thought it was okay for matcha, not the worst but not the best either. Pretty solid My other sister got the dragon fruit smoothie! Ordered a medium mini pearl mango milk tea without ice with no/low sugar. The drink was overwhelmingly sweet (equivalent to 100% sweetness). The mini bobas were all clumped up. Also, got another kind of jelly. As I tasted it, I wondered if she gave me the wrong drink and had to look at the label. It was the right drink and instruction. Love that we have a Gong Cha! With so many new milk tea spots opening up it's nice to have the consistency of Gong Cha. We have frequented other locations such as Visalia and LA and the consistency is always what has us coming back. We arrived a little before 7:00 PM, so make sure you check the hours before heading over. Their current hours have all days closing at 7:00 PM. Our friend group has been anxiously waiting for the opening of this location and the official grand opening is July 19. They did have their soft opening today and all menu items are available. You can order at the counter with someone or use one of two kiosks. The menu is usually up on the TVs, but was not working when we got here. So we took pictures of the menu on the kiosks. The owners are such a sweet family. They answered all of our questions and we had a great conversation with them. They made suggestions for us based on our tea preferences. For example, the wintermelon cannot be adjusted for sweetness and most places can't adjust the wintermelon because it is a syrup. Regardless, we still like to get the wintermelon. Apart from the wintermelon, we either opt for the Earl Grey, which is a strong caffeinated base with slight floral scents or the oolong, which is more roasted. If this is your first time here, we would suggest that you opt for 50% sweetness on your tea. You could always add more sugar, but it's difficult to cut the sweetness if you've done 100% sweet. Their Boba is made to order every day and is soaked in brown sugar. It has a nice consistency and is not too chewy. Cannot wait to be back and support this locally owned shop. read more

Went back yesterday to get a drink since we were at Sam's Club I wanted to have my sister try the drinks since she's never been. Arrived an hour before 8pm and we were greeted as we entered. We used the self ordering kiosk. I've been wanting to try their mini pearl so I ordered a Mini Pearl Strawberry Smoothie. After paying I was told they didn't have anymore mini pearls and I said boba would be fine. Once I got my ordered I was a bit disappointed. The drink tasted watered down with coconut milk and the boba was hard on the inside not fresh and soft as it should be. My sister also order a some type of strawberry refresher, and it tasted water down, not sweet at all, and she said she did not adjust the sweetness level and kept it 100%. I was really excited to find out that we have a gong Cha in Fresno now. Anytime I would go to LA. I would always try this chain. So I was very happy that we have it here now though it is a bit of a drive for me, I think the location of it being in River Park is perfect as I think there's only like a few Boba shops in the area. I got the earl gray milk tea with 3js which comes with three jellies（3 jelly's, pudding and herbal jelly's) and I got 30% sweetness. The pearls were not hard at all. They were very chewy and easy to eat. I love the pudding. I always get putting within my milk teas and the herbal jelly is definitely more for those that a bitter taste. I think for the average, they probably wouldn't get the herbal jellies just because they're not familiar with them, but my partner really enjoyed them. You can definitely taste the tea flavor within the milk tea which I really enjoy compared to other places where it's heavily Milky tasting then the actual tea flavor. I was really bummed that all of their matcha was out. I really wanted to try the Matcha slushy because I've tried it before when I've been out of town and that has been the best drink that I've had on a hot summer day. read more
