this place is so adorable in the inside they collect all types of currency and display them. The the barista was super friendly and nice. I got a strawberry green tea. They did not have crystal Boba but they had clear Boba. I've never had clear boba. So I was getting used to the taste. My only suggestion is the tea could've been slightly stronger. The taro milk tea smoothie with boba was the best boba drink I've ever had!! The girl working was super sweet and helpful! My husband got the Vietnamese coffee, my daughter got the Carmel milk tea with boba half sweet. We were all so happy with our drinks! My daughter and I were craving for boba and wanted to try something new. We drove across town to be disappointed. The drinks were soooooo sweet that I thought I was drinking sugar flavored water. I didn't make any modifications so it tasted like it was 450% sweet. Boba wasn't extremely soft either. The store was stuffy so it was a bit hot. I thought the money all over the world display that was donated was pretty cool. The fish tank in there held beautiful huge fish but that tank was way too small for them. It was sad to see. The small amount of food they had was pretty inexpensive. The person in front of me ordered spring-rolls and a Vietnamese sandwich and it looked pretty good. This place is actually terrible. Went there with my friends and the moment we walked in it was a combination of smells I wouldn't be able to describe. I ordered a jumbo matcha and it was oxidized. My drink came with three kinds of boba: regular boba, taro boba, and crystal boba. The regular boba was fine. No issues. The taro boba was yummy, but the texture was kinda hard. The crystal boba was so hard that I could barely chew it and ended up spitting out a lot of it. Two stars for my drink. Wouldn't order again. My friend got a raspberry tea with boba, which she said was good. The service was very nice, and the shop was cute with lots of tables. Price was reasonable. I saw this place on yelp, close to my work and I was hungry for a snack. I ordered a bahn mi sandwich pork, asked to add spicy chicken as stated on the menu. The chicken was small chopped up meat very bland and no flavor to it. The bread was hard to bite off not like other places where it's crunchy and easy to chew. The pork was a few thin slice of red meat loaf, taste very bland. The carrots taste old. I would not recommend this place for bahnmi. read more

The dude and I were craving boba and I wanted to try a new boba place since we were in the area on 08/09/20. We came around 6:30pm. When we entered it was SO hot inside! Since there is no dine in due to COVID-19 it makes sense not to have AC. It was much cooler outside abc that says a lot since the Central Valley is known for the heat! Any who the owner/staff was friendly. They had a pretty big selection on flavors but I had to try the Taro since the reviews raved about it. They have different milk options like whole, 2% and fat free even half and half. I opted for fat free milk since I am cutting calories. I also got the boba which was good. The Taro drink was decent like 7/10 it taste better than other Taro boba drinks I had. It had more flavor than others but still underwhelming as I know the potential it has as I had bomb Taro drinks. The dude ended up getting the Watermelon Slush which was like 6/10 it was decent but lacked that good addictive Watermelon flavor. The boba was good and chewy. They also sell food items here which we didn't try but over all it was a good exciting experience. However Pearl Tea House so far is my favorite but if I am in the area and craving boba I will drop in. read more

Stopped in to pick up a quick lunch and boba. We got the pork banh mi and a few different boba drinks. The Pork Banh mi was good but not great. The sandwiches do not have a lot of meat in them but the flavor was fairly good. The boba drinks are good. We got the Vietnamese iced coffee with bob, the taro smoothie with boba, the avocado smoothie with boba and a strawberry lemonade with boba. All of the drinks are a solid choice. I will say the strawberry lemonade doesn't taste like the typical strawberry lemonade but is still good. They add a slice of cucumber and a bit of cilantro. We would definitely get any of the drinks again and actually come here once in a while for boba. read more

The food is edible, but the sandwiches are NOT Viet sandwiches. They are a sort of fusion, which I didn't care for. The bread wasn't baguette, but tasted ok. The pickled vegetables were a bit too sour. The meats were... interesting. The pork is a Viet pork salami, but didn't taste right as the main ingredient for the sandwich. The meatball sandwich used American flavored meatballs. The fusion taste of the sandwiches were just weird. I see lots of people come here for the drinks. I found this place on Yelp while running an errand nearby. What a great find! I had the spicy chicken ban mi, and it was soooo yummy! I also got a coconut smoothie with 50% sweetness (love that option!). It's a small place with only a few tables. Mostly a takeout place. This review is mostly applied to the kids working, not who I assume are the owners / maybe parents? This was one of my favorite places I order from very often. Unfortunately I won't be returning. Called in my order and was told 10 minutes all for it to actually not be ready until half an hour later. Also during this wait time I got to watch two other orders who came in after me receive theirs in less than 5 minutes. Again, I order very often and have a stamp card (get 5 stamps get, 1 drink free). I always order multiple items when I come and would only ever get one stamp per order but didn't care because the service was always usually quick. I also got my 5th stamp during this visit and asked if I could use it for one of the drinks I got this time and was told I could use it next time... Lol. With the amount of money I've spent at this place if I was given a stamp per every item I would have received multiple full stamp cards and free drinks already. So on top of waiting 3 x the estimated time, getting to see others who came in after me receive their drinks at the same time as me and the whole stamp card thing I will no longer be spending my money at this place. read more

1st & last time here! Place is nice & clean with lots of seating around, hence providing them the 3 star. Ordered a milk tea, match green tea and "Vietnamese" pork sandwich (banh mi). All was so very disappointing! The milk tea didn't taste like anything, but cream & sweetness, matcha was disgusting Idk how to even describe it and lastly the sandwich was way far from what a viet banh mi should taste. The bread was nicely toasted, it wasn't real pork rather it was some sort of pork loaf/ham it had a rubbery texture, pickle veggies had to much vinegar & the spread was not the usual paté, I can't make out whether it's mayo with pork or tuna very confusing. Came this evening and waited nearly 30 mins for just two drinks. The lady (possibly one of the owners) did not apologize nor even acknowledge the long wait. Instead of telling me the drinks will be a "couple of minutes" maybe next time give your customers the heads up it will take a while for the drinks to become ready,smh. Also, they still only offer ONE stamp per visit. So in other words, you can buy 2-4 drinks on one visit yet they will only give you one stamp, smh. This was my first visit so I kinda had in mind what I wanted but they didn't have it so I asked if they could make it for me and the guy did. He was very monotone and wasn't exactly thrilled to be there but hey it was a Sunday. I probably would've been the same if I had to work on Sunday. Back to the tea. It was good okay. It tasted too much like milk and sugar and not enough of the coconut and Mocha flavors. I'm glad he fulfilled my request, but next time I'll stick to something they are known for. They don't have much variety, but then again that could be a good thing. Also, the Boba was a bit too chewy. It kept getting stuck on Ariel's braces and some got caught in my throat.
