I've been coming to Drip for quite some time now and I really enjoy it! Their interior is really nice and modern. The staff is always super sweet too. I feel like good matcha is hard to come by in Fresno and Drip provides a pretty decent one. Their matcha is a little more mild in taste and on the sweeter side, but still pretty solid. Really good! I've had two good experiences with the banana matcha. So yummy. Expensive but compared to other places in town you really get your moneys worth. I ordered pick up today and when I walked in, it wasn't just sitting on the counter. Came here with my run club after a spicy 3 mile run. Apologies for coming in dripping with sweat but the staff was so welcoming and accommodating and answered all of our tedious questions about the various teas. I tried the matcha latte and the high mountain oolong. They were okay,nothing really stood out. The matcha latte didn't have enough matcha flavor; all I could taste was milk. As for the high mountain oolong, it didn't have that strong, nutty oolong taste I was expecting. I'd describe it more like a subtle green tea or something close to osmanthus tea. I realllllly wanted to love this place because of how cute it is, but I can't call it love, that's for sure. It's pretty over-priced for mediocre drinks. It wasn't bad... but it wasn't great. Sorry to say. I've had better, and for less. I got the Ube Coconut cloud, my sisters got the Strawberry Matcha and the Coconut Matcha. My niece got the Taro Milk Tea with Boba. We all agreed that the drinks were a 4/5 out of 10. One of my sisters got the chocolate chip cookie, and the other got some Ube Crinkle cookies. The chocolate chip was just alright. The Ube Crinkle cookies were good though, I'd definitely get those myself next time. When I first heard of them opening I was curious about their black sesame crepe cakes... I don't remember seeing it? Unless I missed it. I do plan on giving them another try down the line... maybe try a different drink and the black sesame cake if they have it. I definitely wanted this to be my new favorite spot in Fresno. The aesthetics are a 10/10 & reflex an LA cafe'. The ambience is calm & luxurious which creates space for studying or hanging out. The drinks are crafted with care by great staff & are content creator friendly. As far as the actual taste of the tea wasn't so much there. I love quality matcha & was so sure this place would reflect that. I consider myself a matcha connoisseur & after trying different variations I haven't enjoyed one. Honestly I love this place so much. The ambiance, quality of teas, and customer service are all impeccable. I came here with my friend per her recommendation. I love that they have a large selection of unique tea flavors. Also FYI: the matcha is ceremonial-grade! I consulted with the barista asking how sweet the Lychee Blossom tea was and she told me it wasn't that sweet. I ended up ordering the Lychee Blossom tea at 50% sweetness (which still ended up being a bit too sweet for my taste). I'm pretty sensitive to sweetness so I would definitely order something at a lower level of sweetness next time. My ordered the Thai Green Tea and also made the comment that her drink was overly sweet as well. Overall the flavor of the tea was amazing and I absolutely LOVED the ambiance here. Another boba spot but in a very hip shopping/eatery area of north Clovis. The vibes were giving aesthetic. Lol. Seating is limited, but there are a couple tables and seats. It's more of a take and go. I ordered the Thai Freddo with boba. It's their take on the classic Thai Tea, topped with a thick sweetened foam. Overall, it was okay. The boba I chose was unsweetened. They offer the brown sugar boba too. Tbh, I didn't even know that was an option, lol. I was afraid the whole drink would be too sweet, so I decided on the unsweetened boba. Now I know... My thai tea didn't taste cold enough or sweet enough. Eventually I stirred in the foam with the thai tea and that made it sweeter. My friends ordered the fruit tea, Mango Passion Grove and the Mango Sticky Rice Milk Tea. Of all our drinks, we agreed the Mango Sticky Rice Milk Tea was the best! It was surprisingly good! We also tried the Ube Crinkle cookies and matcha brownie. The cookies were good. You get 2 and about $6. Im glad I got to try them but probably don't plan to get them again. Very very peachy flavored. My biggest complaint is ALL THE SEEDS! Strain that out!!! Don't leave seeds in a boba drink as it's very unpleasant to crunch seeds when trying to chew boba. Cinn-Jicha was delicious tho quite pricey at $10. Both were memorable & if they strained the seeds & weren't so pricey, they would've easily earned the 5 star rating. Definitely try them! Got to stop in & see what this place is about, and I truly liked it! I got the Honeycomb Milk Tea, Honey Orange Blossom & the Match Green Tea Crepe (2 different visits). So far, the Honeycomb Milk Tea has been my favorite! Just an amazing taste, not overly sweet, balanced. The honeycomb is the tea is a nice touch & good! The Honey Orange Blossom is also on the semi sweeter side, but not overly sweet. The orange blossom blends well with the matcha green tea, without that over bearing matcha taste, it's pretty good! Now, the Green Tea Match Crepe I wasn't sure of, something I just decided to try & glad I did! So good! Lol. Very moist, sweet & the texture is great! Will say, definitely got me up & going! My only complaint is seating. If you're wanting to meet friends there to hangout, or possibly meet a co-worker for a meet. Not really the place for that. But, I feel most will just get their order & leave. All in all: Friendly service, great tea & sweets, nice atmosphere! Will definitely be going back! We came on 3/16 and most of their desserts were sold out, I was able to snag a matcha brownie cookie. Thin, chewy, and the matcha flavors really stand out. A bit on the sweeter side for me. Overall I think this place is great for those who are wanting to try out matcha. It's on the lighter side as in, their drinks are more "milk" based than matcha based. Although it may be personal preference ! So ditch your Starbucks matcha and come here!! The matcha here is good quality, passed the stain test, and taste test! No artificial or fishy aftertaste!! The coconut matcha was really good, the coconut flavors reminded me of a roasted coconut which I had no problems with, I would probably ask if it's possible to have more matcha. Partner had the sea salt toffee matcha in which you could really reallyyyy taste the toffee and sea salt. We would probably get it sweater next time. We really loved the atmosphere inside. Good solid drinks, with kind and wonderful staff. Absolutely a place I would grab a tea to-go. I would hear on a Saturday afternoon around 3 PM. The place was very well capped. Everything was clean, the tables were wiped, and the bathroom was spotless. My girlfriend and I ordered two drinks: a rose tea with Boba and a Matcha green tea with vanilla. The rose tea with Boba was perfectly sweetened, without being too sweet. The Boba was still warm and fresh, and overall it was just a delightfully delicious drink. The Matcha green tea is an actual Matcha green tea. I feel like a lot of people are used to Matra being mixed with a ton of sugar, and that is totally not what this place does. They allow the matcha to come through, and complement it very well with other flavors like vanilla, coconut, and lavender. Probably between 7 to 8 dollars for drink, but I don't think that is too far off from a solid good cup of tea. So the inside of this place is very small, I think maybe 20 people could be in their comfortably, and there really isn't much space. You could tell by the design, the owners really don't intend for you to stay, but I'm OK with that. Just being able to have a good tea place, that's easily accessible is just a wonderful treat. The matcha itself tasted fine but Overall, i probably wouldnt order it again. To add on, the price was very expensive, it was around $9 for the small cup. The coconut cream matcha is on the sweet side and would be better with extra ice since it's pretty creamy. I ended up really liking this cute little spot! It is very small inside and because of the large tree when you walk in, there is not much seating. However, the few little spots they do have are super cute and aesthetic. There's also seating outside on the side and front of the entrance. The service was great! The person helping us was super friendly and was able to recommend food based on what we liked. I absolutely loved my Guava yuzu spritz! It was perfect and so refreshing for a summer day. My friend got some sort of peach tea and she really enjoyed that as well. We got their famous Dubai crêpe layer cake, which was delicious but very sweet!
