Otherside Cafe is a great spot if you are looking for a good brunch in Fresno. The ambiance features a cozy, minimalist design flooded with natural light, along with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. - Almond Chicken: Pure perfection. The meat was remarkably tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The combination of baked sweet potatoes, fresh veggies, and rich crema tied the entire plate together. - Donut: Soft, delicious,not too sweet. -Drinks: They offer a unique menu with options like Spiced Ube and Blackberry Lattes. However, I'd skip the matcha mine was watery, bitter, and tasted like low grade matcha powder. I'll stick to their coffee next time. Tip : We arrived on a Sunday around 11:30 AM to a line out the door. But it moved quickly and we were seated within 15 minutes!
We dined in here during the lunch time, had sandwiches and coffees. Coffees were good and the sandwiches were tasty though for the sandwich size the price was bit expensive . They have modern interior though very limited seating. We ended up waiting 10-15 mins with our orders and with our newborn to be able to find a small table to seat, cause there were lots of people with their laptops were reserving seats even though they have finished their single coffees. I would recommend management to at least make some time limitations at least during the peak times when people are coming for lunch or dinner.
Such a cute spot and everything they make here is reliably delicious. Sometimes this place gets really busy! But they're usually pretty efficient and friendly even when the line gets long. Nice places to sit inside and out. We ordered the spring matcha - delicious and sweet but not too sweet, at all. Also a very pretty drink! The salmon toast and the salmon bowl were both very yummy and felt nourishing to eat. I look forward to going back
The place was very bright and open. Kind of loud inside, so not a great place to work but a great place to socialize. The portions of the half sandwich and half salad were very generous. The flavor profiles were amazing. You could taste the quality of the food. We did order a Matcha honey vanilla latte, which was really good. It was not bitter, didn't leave after taste, and you're able to adjust the sweetness which I really liked. I cannot wait to go back to try more dishes
I got the Caesar Salad with an added chicken and was very pleased with the flavor. I love the avocado in the dressing which completely elevates the dish! My siblings got the other bowls and they seem healthy but I'd rather opt for a salad. It can get fairly busy, when we went there was a short line. Ambiance is clean and spacious with lots of seating indoor and outdoor. Plenty of parking available. Located in the new Row complex.

I love Otherside Cafe! They have amazing coffee and their food menu is great! Depending on when you arrive, there may be a line out the door, but trust me, it's good! The cafe itself is a decent size with seating on the patio (that actually stays pretty cool, even in the hot summers), it's got a lot of natural light and has a clean, airy feeling. Employees are friendly and attentive if you need anything. Do yourself a favor and get their maple crunch latte, it is out of this world delicious, I ordered it 1/2 sweet and it was perfection in a cup. My kids love to get the donuts, I'm not a big donut fan, but Otherside's are actually pretty good! I prefer the OG breakfast burrito and the tri-tip cobb wrap, seriously delicious! The Otherside Cafe is a great place to hang out and have coffee with friends, or a quick bite with the kids. I just wish we lived a little closer.
Finally got to stop in sever weeks ago, to see what the hype was about! The hype is good! So, to keep this "Plain Jane". The food is good, the doughnuts are good (what can I say) along with the matcha! Have been 3 times, and it's been consistently good, which seems to be hard for some places. I've tried the Garden breakfast burrito, the OG breakfast burrito (easily top 3 favorite breakfast burrito) and a breakfast bowl (I can't remember the name of). Along with several doughnuts, and Matcha (one with just honey, other with lavender) and all of it was delicious! To wind this down, I get why people like this place. The service, the ambience and just the overall feel is nice. Almost reminds me of a place that would be, beach side with a view. All in all: Great food, service and ambience. Has now been a go to for me. Highly recommend!
Food: Every time I come here I'm not wowed by the food they have to offer. This time I got the Kalefornia salad and added almond chicken. It was okay--chicken a little tough and dry. The ube matcha latte had this bitter topping that I did not really like. But the drink is pretty! Service: you order at the counter and they bring you your food. They are very friendly. Ambiance: LOVE! You can come here for hours with your bestie and just catch up. Or you can come and do work (I see people doing this a lot). Very chill.
I'm was in Fresno for a short business trip and always try to seek out local coffee shops when I travel, especially when I need a good spot for a quick meeting. OtherSide Café was high on my list, and I'm so glad I made the stop. First impression: this place is huge for a local coffee shop. The space is bright, airy, modern, and effortlessly upscale. Honestly, if I could design my ideal coffee shop, this would be it. It was packed when we arrived, which is always a good sign, but be prepared to wait in line. It's popular for a reason. The barista who helped us was wonderful. I mentioned it was my first visit and that I love trying signature drinks. Without hesitation, she recommended the basil vanilla latte and explained how the basil adds balance and a unique flavor to the coffee. She was confident, thoughtful, and clearly knew the menu well. I also ordered the avocado toast and added two poached eggs for an additional $4, which I appreciated since it's a solid way to add protein. You're given a number after ordering, and because the café was so busy, we ended up sitting outside. The patio was also full, but it was a beautiful day and a great spot to sit. When our food and drinks arrived, the server kindly pointed out that silverware and napkins are self-serve at a designated station. We hadn't noticed it initially, so that's something good to know if you're visiting. Not a big deal, just part of the setup. The coffee itself was excellent. Smooth, well-balanced, and thoughtfully made. While I couldn't distinctly pick out the basil flavor, the drink worked really well overall and wasn't overly sweet. A solid recommendation. As for the avocado toast, the flavors were great and the eggs were poached perfectly. The bread was a bit heartier and crustier than I personally prefer, but that's a preference thing, not a flaw. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Overall, this was a great experience. The vibe is on point, the energy is lively, the staff is helpful, and the coffee delivers. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in Fresno.
This is a local hotspot where the food is fresh, the service is accommodating, and there is seating both indoors a s outdoors. You will order at the counter prior to being seated at your table. The line can be a little long but the person taking your order is warm, friendly, and filled with patience. We had a rather large order. They will deliver your order to the table. The food is super delicious and seasoned to perfection. Yum!! We are so happy we found the perfect brunch spot Thank you Itherside Cafe!
Quick service, and the food was so delicious! I got the Chia pudding, honey saffron latte, and my son got the avocado toast with blackberry tea. All good with a great atmosphere inside or outside.
Fairly nice spot overall. The woman who took our order looked like she was being held at gunpoint (hope she's okay), but the woman who brought out our food was amazing. super friendly and attentive. The food itself was good, though a bit confusing. There was a random strip of grilled zucchini plopped on top of my plate that felt... unnecessary, and the green sauce was a little weird. That said, everything else tasted solid. I also tried the banana latte, which unfortunately leaned more artificial than expected. Not a bad experience, but not sure I'd go out of my way to come back.

The breakfast burrito is fiiire. Surprised I didn't have this sooner. Ordering for pickup is easy and convenient plus the staff are super nice. I did order the coffee inside last minute while I was waiting for my burrito. The inside is big but there wasn't any seating during peak hour 12pm. I didn't check out the outside seating. Also I came again a few days after to get the strawberry summer matcha. It was okay but a bunch of my friends really like it. I get matcha from other places instead. Snuck in a rare kid-free breakfast date with my hubby and it did not disappoint. Tried a few new things instead of our usual spots and I'm so glad we did. The OG burrito was way better than expected, perfectly crunchy, loaded with real eggs, and packed with flavor. Even though it was busy, service was quick and super friendly for dining in. I've grabbed a salad to go before and wasn't wowed so I haven't returned in awhile ever since then. The golden hour iced latte was fire and the hot matcha latte was smooth and cozy. Donuts were a mixed bag, pumpkin chai wasn't my fave, but the matcha donut was so good! Can't wait to come back! Definitely recommend! read more

Big place with a lot of seating. Great for chisme & coffee. There was a line but it went by pretty fast. Food took only a few minutes to come out. Drink $6.50 Monkey bread $3.50 Chicken Sandwich $14.00 The parking lot is so packed. The location is nice. Saizon and Ampersand are near by. I've been wanting to check out this place and it's simple/cute. Nothing crazy. Nice to hangout with friends here. The food is fine, next time I will try the salads! read more
I think this is my new favorite cafe in Fresno!!! Their coffee/matcha is great (ube matcha was my jam) and their breakfast burritos are small but hit the spot!!! They clearly know what they're doing! We only got takeout but service was great and I'm obsessed! read more
I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with this place. They make solid coffee and really tasty food. The meal portions aren't huge either which is appreciated for a coffee spot. The service is some of the best though. They get people in and out pretty quick. We ordered a donut and they ended up not having anymore and came to us after our meal offering us a discount after giving us a substitute. Place flat out knocking it out of the park. The burrito is incredible. The breakfast sandwich is also solid too. I hope everyone comes into this place. Cheers! read more

Interesting cashier staff. Most times I have gone to any cafe or restaurant, when I have questions the cashier or waiter is always able to answer my questions. However this time, I was asking about one of the items on the menu and how it was. I was wanting to know its flavor profile. The item on the menu was Athens Chicken bowl. I just asked for a little explanation about it since I can read the ingredients listed on the menu. I saw it said tandoori spices and so I just asked if the flavor profile is Indian inspired. The cashier just said "it's a soulful bowl." That sucked as a response because I know it's a soulful bowl because it's listed under "Soulful Bowls." That's just like if I asked about a soup and someone tells me "it's soup." Not sure, really was annoyed about that because it was just not insightful or helpful in the slightest. One of the last things I want to do is order something I might not like. That is why people ask questions... Ambiance is perfect and beautiful. So nice inside and inviting. The food is really tasty too. We ordered the avocado caesar salad and it was very good. Perfectly dressed, creamy and delicious. There's yummy croutons on it too. Additionally we ordered the Almond Chicken bowl. It is so hearty and filling! I felt really good after eating the meal. It had a variety of vegetables and it tasted wonderful. Additionally for the cookies, I tried the dark chocolate cookie and it was amazing! It was decadent and sweet, there was melted chocolate inside. Perfect texture. read more

Be prepared. This place gets busy. Loud, line out the door, and not much overall seating available. But they still maintain good customer service. We got the SALTED BROWN BUTTER and COOKIES & CREAM donuts. They were both delicious. Golden Hour latte was good and semi-sweet. The Blackberry latte had the expected tang, but my son felt it should've had more flavor. And the decaf iced salted caramel was a total win. read more

Since my below average experiences I've come back two more times. Once for a sit down meet up and second for an online pick up order. Both experiences have much improvement. Speedy, good service. Food and drinks out in a timely manner and taste of food on point. The burrito and regular avocado toast are my two top recommendations here. I enjoy the pick up window option very much. Since I live across town I placed my order around 11am and by the time I got ready, left, and found parking the food was ready to go and there was only one person in front of me, the line to get into the actual cafe is always pretty long so if you're ever in a pinch just order online. I know they don't have control over this but the parking situation sucks here. It's always a pain to find parking and yet they keep opening up new business but the parking lacks. Just something to keep in mind. read more

Yum! One thing that their family does well is food. The food at any of their restaurants are ALWAYS good. I will follow them to any place they open up. You walk in and order at the counter and then fight for a seat. lol. You sit wherever it's open. It's really nice inside. Very LA vibes inside. Modern. Beautiful. Service was good. I think the gentlemen walking around checking on tables is the owner. Very nice. My friend ordered the wrong drink and he fixed it for her super fast. Golden hour coffee: if you like banana you'd like this. Not overly sweet, perfectly creamy. (4/5) Shaken strawberry hibiscus tea: light, refreshing, not overly sweet. Perfectly balanced. (5/5) Breakfast burrito: hands down best breakfast burrito. Well seasoned, the contents were evenly distributed within the tortillas. And you know it's good when you don't need the condiments provided. Salsa was definitely not needed. (5/5) Tri Tip Cobb wrap: really refreshing. Not heavy at all. Seasoned well. (5/5) Overall I'd recommend. It's out of the way for me but I'm definitely coming back. It's worth the drive. read more

I think I might have found one of my new go-to casual dining spots!! I was so impressed by the Athens chicken bowl here--a variety textures and ingredients but nothing that didn't belong in this dish. It was full of well-seasoned and roasted veggies, not the mention the tender chicken. I also had the beet toast which was packed full of fresh ingredients. I loved that it was very unique but the flavor profile was kind of light. The bread was perfectly toasted so I'm already anticipating the avocado or lox toast next! All the pastries looked yummy but I got the brown butter donut (all made in house). Our cashier was so helpful in letting us know donuts are discounted after 3pm (I think lol). Ambience of this place was modern and casual, would love to come here to do some studying & try their drinks next time. read more

TBH, not really too ideal for studying in the sense that they don't have much outlets and have no wifi, but there are still sooo many ppl who come here to study regardless. Use your hot spot on your phone. Lots of seating inside, very comfy feeling~ a vibe In terms of service, it was okay! Drinks came out in a timely manner. For drinks, I tried the honey saffron latte and matcha! First time having anything saffron, but idk I didn't really like it. It wasn't bad, but it's different. At times it felt strong, and at times it felt kind of bland. I wanted it to be sweeter, but then again, I have a sweet tooth so maybe that's just me! For the matcha, I thought it was solid! My cousin got the matcha with vanilla syrup. It's not the greatest matcha in town, but it wasn't bad either But just on vibes and interior, I liked the place! I love that there is a walk up window!!!! I recently ordered a latte on line and was able to walk my dog over and pick it up. So convenient! Very good service even at the window! I usually prefer to sit down and enjoy my order but sometimes this is just the more convenient option... just glad to have the option... my honey vanilla latte was fabulous read more

This place is amazing! I loved their food and their drinks are so delicious. I went there on a random Saturday a few weeks ago and I'm still thinking about how goo everything was. I got the OG burrito, salted brown butter donut, basil vanilla latte, and the golden hour iced latte. It was really busy but they went through the line fairly quickly. The girl who took my order was super nice and had lots of suggestions since it was my first time there. I liked how spacious the cafe is but the seating is a little awkward and with how busy it was, it did make it a little hard to carry a conversation. But, that won't stop me from going back when I'm in the area! I can't wait to try out some of their other menu items. read more

Had breakfast here with a good friend and one of her kids and 2 of mine. Arrived alittle before 9am, there was no line. Beautiful interior, clean and modern. The staff is friendly the lady at the register who took my order answered all my questions. Upon entry you order at the front counter and take a number and find a seat. They have outdoor seating available. Their indoor seating is comfortable and the a/c is on full blast. My friend has been her a few times and had recommended a few items on their menu. My order: sprinkled donut, monkey bread (warmed), bistro quiche, and the OG breakfast burrito and Golden Hour Iced Latte. Our order came out one at a time. Everything was so delicious!!!! The bistro quiche was so creamy, the OG burrito was yummy!!! I love the crunch from the bacon, wish the tomatillo salsa had a bit more spice as it was very mild to none. My daughter devoured the sprinkled donut so I didn't get to try and the monkey bread was so heavenly it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. My Golden Hour Latte was exquisite, I wasn't sure if I was going to like the. "Banana flavor" but surprisingly it tasted really good, the banana flavor was there but subtle and I throughly enjoyed it. Overall I had a great experience the food was amazing. I would love to return to try their lunch menu which serves at 11am. They also provide a self serve water/condiment area that also have to go containers. Highly recommend this place. read more

Food here is really good. And the bread is REALLY good. Better than Tartine. Nice huge space. It was BUSY when we went, but we were able to find a table after only a little moment of stress. Got the avocado toast among other things (an egg sandwich, I think, and monkey bread). All were good. read more
Absolutely love the food here. Chef is definitely cooking up some deliciousness here. I ordered the smoked salmon toast and boy was it just a savory delectable item. The herb cream cheese, onions, chives, and shaved egg on the toast was just the perfect combo for me. It was quite a filling menu item. I highly recommend trying this menu item. The Miso Salmon in their Soulful Bowls was very good. Good portion size, it was a sweet and savory. Definitely a flavor and texture experience. It is quite busy here, it was hard to find seating for big parties. Restrooms for guests are nice and clean. Service was 4.2/5. It's the food here for me, will definitely come back to try more menu items. They also have baked goods at the POS ranging from cookies to muffins. Just bumped them up a star! I'm glad I didn't let the line sway me away from coming back because I almost didn't stay after seeing it. They were super busy yet me and my friend were still able to grab a table right after ordering. We sat inside this visit... I didn't get a chance go peek outside to see if they've done anything different outside (plus, it was packed). The staff was great-- all very friendly and attentive. As busy as they were, they were really good about checking up on us and picking up empty plates/cups. Thumbs up! This time around, I got the Almond+Mint. I was about to get it iced but the cashier nudged me in the 'hot' direction-- she wasn't wrong. I do want to come back and try it iced though. The drink was perfect temp, tasted yummy (really good mix of the two flavors), and just the right amount of foam for every sip. If you're not a mint/almond person-- that's a shame. You're missing out! My friend got the Matcha... she enjoyed it. I tried a sip of it and it wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't bad. We got the Avocado Toast to share-- very tasty. A touch on the pricey side but that's our new norm I guess... *sigh*. It was worth it though. All the toppings/flavors went together perfectly-- I especially loved the lemon flavor, yum! I think you should call them. They usually do not take reservations.
Is the breakfast burrito served all day?
The breakfast sandwiches are served until 2 p.m., but the burritos are served all day.

Do they accept dogs on the patio?
