I decided to give thisbplace another try after nine years (!!!) When I came back disappointed that they couldn't adjust sweetness levels since everything then was remixed. That isn't the case anymore and they continue to get great reviews. But... I came away disappointed again. This is definitely not the place for milk tea drinkers, who only do milk tea with boba, as the tea flavor is watered down. Perhaps because they emphasize adding flavors to their drinks on their menu as their "step 1" in drink customization that is why this isn't a true tea shop. Super clean interior that offer some games with prizes while you wait for your order. I had got two strawberry lemonades, cookies and cream, and a Thai tea with boba. Been here a couple of time because the kids enjoy their drinks from here. My boba order is typically one of the milk teas so I settled on the roasted oolong milk tea with boba. The flavor of the tea was very very mild and it was more milk forward. I opted for 50% sweetness and it was perfect. The boba texture was okay, the outside was a bit too soft for my preference. I also ordered the popcorn chicken and it was less crunchy and flavorful than the last couple of times I've ordered it. We tried another, and it was good, but still now what we were used to and I did more research and found this one that wasn't too far from us and we decided to give it a shot. Ordering a boba and a side of the takoyaki is a 10/10 and it's nice that they have an arcade area you can go to while you wait. This place is now a 3.5/5. I used to go here all the time, but ever since they put in the kiosks, there have been issues. I noticed the boba isn't as consistent. The jumbo cups are also different, which, I'm still not sure how I feel about them. The biggest turn away for me is the amount that they put in the actual drink itself. I used to come here multiple times a week, for months, get no ice, and the drink would be filled all the way to the top, every single time. No space at all. And now there is such a huge gap, it's not even a little bit. I don't understand why they don't just fill it up like before? It would be a lot better if they fixed these issues. It tasted like a coconut infused Thai tea that wasn't overbearingly sweet, just right.
