Such a cute little spot--we absolutely loved it! The inside is charming and cozy, with a really inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. The coffees were nice, and they also have a great selection of teas, which we enjoyed. The pastry we tried was fresh and delicious. When I first started coming here after they opened, I really loved the atmosphere, and their banana matcha was amazing they would also add bigger chunks of the biscoff cookie which i loved tasting. Over time, I noticed they changed their cups, and while the pricing for matcha remained reasonable, the quality seems to have declined and if im not mistaken their price increased its almost $10 now when before it was about $8. Same amount and same cup size Recently, the matcha has tasted off compared to before, and I'm not sure if they switched the type of powder they use. I've also noticed they've been adding less banana cream, which is disappointing. It often feels like the drinks are made in a rush, even when they're busy I think they should take more pride in how they prepare them. As for customer service, it's just okay. The staff aren't particularly friendly and seem more focused on taking orders than creating a welcoming experience, which doesn't really match the atmosphere they have read more

Cute spot to hang out or get some work done. You order at the register and they bring your order to you. There's a self serve station with water and condiments for your food. Plenty of seating with a few tables out front as well. I got the berry chantilly latte. The milk is pretty sweet, but once you mix it with the coffee, it balances out pretty well. I do believe their drinks are overpriced for the size you get. I did enjoy my drink though, so I would come back, this just wouldn't be a regular spot. Paid them another visit today... Bumped them up a star. They've done a lot to the place since my last stop. Love what they did with the tiles and decor, etc. They blocked off the kitchen now, so the wall is closed off (makes it look a tad smaller inside). They've also added a lot more to their menu-- food and drinks. Staff was a lot friendlier and helpful than the last time I was here... they also had a lot more people working the back, and I get why-- they had a very steady flow of traffic coming in and out. I can't remember if the number of tables they had in there was the same amount as last time but there was a good amount of tables to sit at and we got one right away after ordering considering how many people were already in there. My friend and I both got the Steak Pho. Good portion, good flavor. I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had but I wouldn't mind ordering it again. Definitely interested in a few other things on the menu as well so I'd do that first. As for drinks, we both tried an item off their new spring menu. I got the Tiramisu Latte, she got the Golden Garden Latte (matcha). The lady fingers soaked in my Tiramisu was really good this round... though I did like the drink, the flavor was good-- it was a lot sweeter/heavier than I'd like. My friend liked her drink but she said it just tasted like a regular matcha to her. I did take a sip and I could taste a hint of something different... probably the Chantilly cream? Every time I've come in, the place gets another facelift. The remodel is more functional yet the customer service was lacking. Nobody looked happy working for the holiday season. It seems the workers are doing everything instead of assigned to individual tasks of focusing on food/drinks and/or serving. Perhaps the lack of organization is what resulted in our poor quality drinks. They've got to work harder to keep the quality consistent. This place is so yummy! It never disappoints! They have everything from yummy drinks, to nice little sweet treats, and savory meals! The place is always decorated so cute for any occasion and their seasonal menus are always well thought out! The line can get long but their service is usually very quick and very friendly, always offering their staff recommendations. Most of the time, our orders usually come out in 10-15mins from ordering and are always nice and hot so you know it was made fresh! Came here on a weekday around 2-4 pm~ and it was quite busy! Springly has a lot to choose from, I didn't try any of their food items, but some things look interesting. I tried the iced pistachio latte and my friend got the pandan matcha! The iced pistachio latte was pretty good! I enjoyed it a lot, flavor was present and it was really sweet but I didn't mind. My friend enjoyed her drink, although I personally think when mixed the flavor became light and could have been stronger. The price for the matcha is more expensive than other places. The coffee options are a bit cheaper! Inside of the store is super cute! Love the decor. Lots of seating, some outdoor as well. Overall, I enjoyed the vibes, but if you're looking for a place to study I think it could be a bit loud with all the traffic coming through. The chantilly on top was the perfect texture - not too whipped but also had some thickness. The restaurant was also clean and cute. However, what I didnt particularly enjoy was that the drink had a lot of ice. To a point that it took away from the enjoyment of the drink. The service was also relatively slow. I've been to Springly several times and am definitely a fan! The space is bright and modern with plenty of table and some booth seating. My interactions with the employees has always been pleasant and they are helpful with navigating the menu. The menu offers coffee, matcha and tea options to drink. On my latest visit I tried their seasonal Campfire Latte which was delicious without being too sweet. It came with a delicious torched marshmallow ring on top. I've also enjoyed their matcha in the past. To eat I got an Ultimate Breakfast Banh Mi. They don't skimp on their banh mi's! It has a generous amount of egg, cheese, bacon and turkey. However, they have since changed their interiors layout which gives off a whole different vibe than before as well as inconsistency with their drinks. As far as the service goes it's very flat. Springly is a modern, cute cafe that serves Vietnamese cuisine and unique drinks. The staff are super kind and attentive. I have visited a couple times and tried multiple things on the menu. I was not a fan of their take on Vietnamese coffee (Signature Saigon) as it was WAY too sweet. I found myself having to wait for some of the ice to melt to dilute it and even asking for a splash of milk because I could not drink it. I did enjoy their blueberry matcha! I think their matcha has a great color and flavor profile. I observed how they made their matcha drinks over the counter and the quality seems really consistent which is important to me! Review Update: This time I ordered a Maple Einspanner Latte and popcorn chicken. The Maple Einspanner Latte was not as sweet as I expected. It was a good try however I probably would not order it again. This drink was $7 for a 16 oz cup. My friend also ordered the same drink and she loved it so it's definitely personal preference! The popcorn chicken was just okay. Nothing special or anything you couldn't make at home. The popcorn chicken does not look like the picture that is advertised on the menu. It was $9.50 and it was just okay. It wasn't that crunchy and the pieces of meat were very small. So far, the food and the drinks seem to be a little too expensive for the quality I am getting. The first time I came here last month, they were out of matcha and told me more was on the way, which was a little sus so I didn't get it. I decided to come back and try their Strawberry Fields Matcha, and it was surprisingly good! It wasn't overly sweet and had a nice umami flavor. I saw a couple other reviews saying it was too sweet, so maybe mine just had more matcha than strawberry milk lol. Hubby got the Brown Sugar Espresso--it was also good but nothing special (could make it at home). The place was cute with a little photo op area and lots of tables available. Even less matcha flavor than the other 2 and slight banana after taste. The midnight matcha was my favorite. Not too sweet but I could taste the matcha more in this drink more than the other 2. Only complaint is, the black sesame milk was super duper gritty. I was ok with finishing this drink but my husband was bothered by chewing on the sesame seeds? I absolutely love this place. The flavors are incredible, the people are friendly, and this place is absolutely clean. I've had a number of things from this place and everything is delicious. I absolutely love their roasted Matcha green tea. It just has a richer more, earthy tone. Super good, especially less sweet. However, there is this incredible s'more Matcha latte. With espresso, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmallow cream on top. I mean, quite honestly it doesn't get much better than this. Again, this place is totally worth stopping in and grabbing a quick drink. But is this place over hyped or what? Is it just me? BANANA CREAM MATCHA - 16oz - $9 : The banana cream matcha taste good but with this price i expect something for high quality. They don't use real banana in here. They use a banana syrup that taste a little fake plasticky taste. This reminds me of South Eastern Asian Colorful syrup. They use a hard freeze dried banana chip for the topping. I cant taste the biscoff and the pudding flavor.The matcha quality is powdery. RATE : 3/5 MATCHA-SPÄNNER w/o cinnamon - 16oz - $8 : This drink is salty. It taste like salty egg knog. I can't taste the matcha at all. And yes, the matcha quality is not that great here. It's powdery. RATE : 2/5 ORIGINAL VIETNAMESE SANDWHICH - $9 : Oh my goodness. I can't believe this... I was speechless when i recieve my sandwhich. The original vietnamese sandwhich is so sad!!! It's sad! The traditional and actual orginal vietnamese usual come with different thin sliced cut of meats. But this one only comes with meat loaf. And it's not thin sliced, it's thick sliced. So, i guess they purposely made it thick because they don't have the other meat. They nicely assemble it and stack it to make it look big. The pate is not even pate. It taste like chicken thicken sauce with herbs like lemon grass. The taste was very light too. The mayo is also very light. The daikon and carrots are slightly seasoned. It's mainy carrots. The daikon is limited. They use a few strips of cucumber to cover up majority of the gap. This is the season for jalapeno so becareful with the jalapeno. The jalapeno was super hot. I didnt see any cilantro. There's only one strip of a steam chive. The bread was not flaky on the outside and soft in the inside. It was a hard crispy shell. The inside bread seems like a regular bread where the gaps are really close up. The vietnamese bread inside is webby and airy which makes the inside soft. The bread kind of reminds me of the mexican rolls (bolillo bread). The taste is about the exact too. The bread taste plain, slighlty salted and a bit dry. I wouldn't recommend their sandwhiches here. It's also very pricy for what you get. The overall taste is alright. It just taste like you're eating watery cucumber with slightly sweet carrots and daikons. I can't taste the meat loaf at all because of the watery veggies that they put in there. RATE : 2/5 POPCORN CHICKEN - $9.50 : Popcorn chicken was a disappointment too. They over cooked it. It was hard and dry like burnt chicken. The coating was not there. The seasoning was supper salty. No special flavoring like basil or anything. The texture and flavor was not there. The portion size is pretty big. The price is decent for the size. RATE : 1/5 SERVICE : Is ok. They don't seem to be happy. RATE : 3/5 OVERALL : I personally think that Springly is over hyped! My sister and I tried Springly today. The overall experience was okay, but a few things could be improved. I had the Matcha Spanner--the matcha itself was smooth and high quality, but the sweetened maple cream sea salt topping was overpowering and masked the matcha flavor. My sister got the Banana Cream Matcha, which unfortunately tasted more like a sweet red/green drink, with banana completely overshadowing the matcha. We also ordered the popcorn chicken, which lacked flavor and seasoning--not the best we've had. The traditional bánh mì was disappointing. It didn't have the typical flavor profile we expected. The daikon was bland, and it only came with Vietnamese ham--no other traditional meats like pork or pâté that usually make a bánh mì more flavorful. That said, the service was great, and we really loved the decor and atmosphere--spacious, cute, and well-designed. I got a berries/cream croissant that was delicious and warmed up, as well as a seasonal Guava Sweetheart drink! I will say the drinks are a little pricey but it was really good! Wow! I was bowled over by this sweet little Vietnamese restaurant in the busy strip mall near Barnes & Noble. It's not fancy or large in size, but it has food that is scrumptious! I had a bowl filled with vermicelli, bean sprouts, lettuce, and well done tofu. It came with a small egg roll and choice of sauce. I had never tried this creation, and wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was excellence. You order at the counter and they bring out your food, quite quickly, I might add. My friends had their spring rolls, and I swear they were the size of burritos! I like that I could get a banhmi and coffee that early. Sometimes I don't crave breakfast food. This visit I got three drinks. Signature Saigon: strong, strong, strong. I love it. Vietnamese coffee is the way to go. Sweet, creamy, and strong. (5/5) Mango lychee mojito: it was good, not my favorite. It was on the sweeter. It's carbonated. The place definitely has a nice modern look to it with large menus on screens and the decor is very bright and lively. The food and drink options give plenty available for everyone and I was pleasantly surprised to see all the coffee options (which is why I came). The service was polite but with a bit of a wait time though it was a mildly busy at the time. I had wanted to try the red velvet coffee but apparently they ran out right before I asked I ended up trying the banana creme instead which had an excellent presentation, though the flavor was a bit bland. I think this likely would've had better flavor had this been one I could drink through the lid as all of the flavors were on the top I think.
