I like that I could get a banhmi and coffee that early. Sometimes I don't crave breakfast food. This visit I got three drinks. Signature Saigon: strong, strong, strong. I love it. Vietnamese coffee is the way to go. Sweet, creamy, and strong. (5/5) Mango lychee mojito: it was good, not my favorite. It was on the sweeter. It's carbonated. Next time I'd adjust the sweetness levels. Maybe to 50%. However, the food ordering process got a little mixed up and we ended up with too many drinks and they prematurely took our second order numbers away from the table, then assigned it to someone else's table and gave them our 2nd food order. The food was made promptly. I think staff should practice clarifying with customers if the order is correct by reviewing. A customer service refresher course. Leave the order number on the table until that food is brought to the table. It's typically pretty busy got this picture during some downtime and then it got packed. Springly is easily one of my favorite spots in Fresno because it has everything - spring rolls, rice & vermicelli bowls, matcha, coffee, & boba milk tea! Their drinks menu is amazing and I love how creative and unique their latte creations are. The servers are super friendly and have great recommendations when going through their menu. The food and drink options give plenty available for everyone and I was pleasantly surprised to see all the coffee options (which is why I came). The service was polite but with a bit of a wait time though it was a mildly busy at the time. I had wanted to try the red velvet coffee but apparently they ran out right before I asked I ended up trying the banana creme instead which had an excellent presentation, though the flavor was a bit bland. I think this likely would've had better flavor had this been one I could drink through the lid as all of the flavors were on the top I think. The decor clean and modern, the menu selection was just right filled with flavored teas and all the usual Vietnamese food favorites. The chicken pho was piping hot and full of flavor. One of the best matcha spots you will have will be tucked in a shopping center, in a restaurant. Not only do they have delicious ban mi and huge spring rolls but they also have the most delicious and unique flavored matcha. My coworker and I stopped here on the way back to work and it was pretty good last time I had it. I almost got the mango iced tea I got last time ($6) but I decided to switch to the banana cream matcha that was on their specials menu. There were no prices on this menu so I was thrown off when I paid $9.50 for this small drink. After stirring, it was good, but no drink is worth $9.50 in my opinion. Especially not this size. Finally got a chance to try Springly! I stopped by in the afternoon and didn't want caffeine so I tried the Lovey drink which was a lavender lemonade. It was really refreshing and not overly sweet. We just found our new favorite restaurant! Stephen and his crew did an awesome job when we visited here for the first time. We had the pork bowl which was flavorful, but the sauces were the highlight. Spicy garden was a creamy sauce of blended cilantro and jalapeños. It was a nice spice but not too hot for most people. I could put this on almost anything. The Vietnamese vinegarette was also very flavorful. We even dunked our baowzers in them. The baowzers were incredible, they were savory inside with just a touch of sweet on the deep fried outside. We will need to order these everything we come here. 7/13/2024 (lunchtime) Ambiance: Lots of spring(ly) colors around and a cute environment. Perfect a lunch date. It was a little dark inside, but it didn't really matter since I sat outside (all the seating was taken indoors) Service: Great! I like to bring my personal cup for iced drinks and thankfully they accepted it but had to ask another worker if it was ok firs. You take your number after ordering and sit down. While I was waiting outside the barista brought my drink to me and said my drink looked extra cute in the jar (it always does lol). I waited under 5 minutes for my drink which was a plus, thankfully I wasn't in a rush for anything. Drink: I got the Berry Chantilly Latte! It was a great balance of coffee flavor and presentation. The broth needed salt and the chicken tasted unseasoned, but with the added toppings it was pretty good. My husband had the caramelized grilled pork banh mi and he said that the meat was very flavorful. The most impressive thing we tasted was the furikake fries. These fries were delicious when dipped in the spicy mayo! It tasted like a fried California roll! The Thai tea was delicious and is made with real black tea. Overall we had a good meal here and I hope to try more of their specialty drinks. Edit: I did see someone mention that the layout is weird, and they are correct. The menu is on the left wall, and there is a counter right by it, but that isn't where you order. You have to walk all the way around to right side of the restaurant by the bathrooms to order, and the staff are dodging around the line of customers to bring out the food. I would not order banh mi again from this place. Traditional Banh Mi - A very basic banh mi. The only meat in there was the Vietnamese meatloaf. If traditional banh mi means that the only meat is Vietnamese meatloaf then the traditional banh mi isn't for me. Part of the bread was soggy but I enjoyed the bread the most out of everything. Pork banh mi - A soggy, wet sandwich. The entire baguette was wet. The meat was good and it would have probably tasted better with rice because the sandwich was just too soggy. I was excited to try this place. Excited for a new Vietnamese restaurant. Walking in, it was a little confusing. I didn't know where to go to order. While staying in line, people had to squeeze by to use the bathroom or to pick up their food. The layout was not well thought out. The lady at the front was nice. It was maybe two minutes before 11 and I ask if it was too late to order from their breakfast menu. She said yes it was too late, the guy behind her said no, it was fine that we may order from the breakfast menu. After ordering a pastry, two sandwiches, two coffees and a mango smoothie, she told us the wait will be about 30 minutes. I was a bit shock for the wait time. I wish she would have told us before we ordered or before we paid. There was only one group of 3 ladies in front of us. About 4 tables open in the dining area, so it wasn't packed... we ended up using our time by taking pictures and posing in front of the flowers and scooter which was cute. Once we got our food, I was again shocked to see how small the drinks were for that price, but they were good. Sandwiches weren't anything special. Definitely something I can make at home. My daughter's pate chaud didn't have a buttery flaky crust anymore. It was heated up so high that it is now soggy. I'm glad I tried but to know. But it's definitely not a place I would go back to. When I first arrived I was a bit confused on the layout of the place, as the ordering counter is in the corner and waiting area is pretty much standing anywhere where you're not in the way. Service was average nothing different from ordering anywhere else I only ordered their iced banana matcha latte which came out to $9.75. Now I thought this was overpriced as I've had some of the best matcha lattes in the bay which all were averaged around $7. It was very sweet and tasted like milk unfortunately the matcha flavor was very subtle and not whisked properly as there were clumps. The bread had a lot of flavor too definitely one of the top Banh sandwiches I have had. First off, super duper cute shop. The decor is very pastel and giving off this retro modern vibe. Came here for lunch with my family and sister. We ordered a few items to try: I got the beef vermicelli noodle bowl. The beef was nicely seasoned and comes with all the toppings a traditional Vietnamese vermicelli noodle dish would have. This dish has quite a selection of sauce to pour over your bowl. There are 7 sauce to choose from and I got the House Crab. I did find it a little hard to mix the sauce and get everything underneath while doing so since the bowl is kinda small. I eventually closed the lid and tossed it like a salad. I also tried the fried bao which I have never seen a bao fried before. And it tastes just like my Vietnamese mother-in-law just not fried. Pretty good! It has a boil egg inside. The fries were bombastic. Soo fresh and crispy! The sauce to dip it in was really good too. My husband got the banh mi and enjoyed it. The popcorn chicken was just like any popcorn chicken, crispy and peppery! My sister's bf likes them a lot. My daughter also got a macaron which she gobbled down pretty quickly. I do think the price point for that is a little steep for a small macaron. The staff were friendly when I ordered and the establishment is nice and clean. They have restrooms for their customers. It was busy on a Saturday morning but the food was fresh and the staff answered all the questions we had. It's in a shopping plaza which made it easy to stroll coffee in hand after our visit. This place gets 10/10 in concept and aesthetics. As far as food I would give it a 7/10. It wasn't bad, but also not something I would crave after. We received one item at a time within a 20min time frame. I finished my banh mi, our spring rolls and our dessert and was still waiting on my husband's vermicelli bowl. Saw this place on social media, the cute decor got my attention! Then I came across the menu and knew I HAD to try it out! They are in their soft opening phase however the menu has a wide range of options to choose from. They offer dairy free substitutions for most of the drinks on their menu. Quite a few options for breakfast/lunch and of course bakery items which I will make sure to try next time! The service was great, despite them not being open for long the entire process went smoothly. The brew boy latte w/ tiramisu cold foam was delicious! Not too sweet with the perfect hints of chocolate and the little pastry on top added a fun element! I did also try the turkey banh mi which was yummy!
