I love the Berry Chantilly Latte here and order it constantly through DoorDash. Honestly, the only reason this isn't a full 5 stars is because the Berry Chantilly Matcha still isn't on the DoorDash menu even though it's available in-store. I've tried requesting it through the app and even called before. One employee mentioned the manager was going to add it, but it never showed up. For a while I could call and swap one of my lattes for the matcha, but the last time I tried I was told they couldn't do that anymore. At this point I'm begging a little on behalf of all the matcha people: please just add the full menu to DoorDash. Recently just had the berry chantilly matcha and it was 10/10. You know when you try flavored drinks and it claims to taste like a certain flavor but you only get a subtle hint of it? Nope, not this drink! The berry chantilly matcha literally tastes like I took a bite out of the cake, with a flavor bonus of matcha. Came by to try their iced matcha lattes. We ordered the strawberry fields, the banana cream matcha, and the midnight matcha. The strawberry fields tasted like strawberry milk. Very perfectly sweet with strawberry but very light matcha flavor and it was missing the strawberry shortcake crumble topping. The banana cream matcha was so underwhelming. It tasted like milk. Even less matcha flavor than the other 2 and slight banana after taste. The midnight matcha was my favorite. Not too sweet but I could taste the matcha more in this drink more than the other 2. Only complaint is, the black sesame milk was super duper gritty. I was ok with finishing this drink but my husband was bothered by chewing on the sesame seeds? If you like a sweet lattes with great flavor, this is the place for you! Their Cloud-9 latte is my favorite. They also have really good Vietnamese food. Their Teriyaki Chicken Banh Mi has great flavor and tastes very refreshing with all the veggies. I prefer the teriyaki over the Traditional Banh Mi. The daikon is limited. They use a few strips of cucumber to cover up majority of the gap. This is the season for jalapeno so becareful with the jalapeno. The jalapeno was super hot. I didnt see any cilantro. There's only one strip of a steam chive. The bread was not flaky on the outside and soft in the inside. It was a hard crispy shell. The inside bread seems like a regular bread where the gaps are really close up. The vietnamese bread inside is webby and airy which makes the inside soft. The bread kind of reminds me of the mexican rolls (bolillo bread). The taste is about the exact too. The bread taste plain, slighlty salted and a bit dry. I wouldn't recommend their sandwhiches here. It's also very pricy for what you get. The overall taste is alright. It just taste like you're eating watery cucumber with slightly sweet carrots and daikons. I can't taste the meat loaf at all because of the watery veggies that they put in there. RATE : 2/5 POPCORN CHICKEN - $9.50 : Popcorn chicken was a disappointment too. They over cooked it. It was hard and dry like burnt chicken. The coating was not there. The seasoning was supper salty. No special flavoring like basil or anything. The texture and flavor was not there. Came back again to explore more the menu. We got the Signature Saigon it was good. Deep, bitter, and rich coffee (we like) just wished it was a little more silky in terms of Vietnamese coffee. the Brûlée coffee was ok, I didn't really like the burnt sugar taste and it made my coffee taste bitter. We ordered the pork spring rolls AGAIN because yum..?! That hunk of meat is everything ! And I am soooooo happy we ordered the Saigon street fries!! Tangy, rich, umami flavors all in one. My sister and I tried Springly today. The overall experience was okay, but a few things could be improved. I had the Matcha Spanner--the matcha itself was smooth and high quality, but the sweetened maple cream sea salt topping was overpowering and masked the matcha flavor. My sister got the Banana Cream Matcha, which unfortunately tasted more like a sweet red/green drink, with banana completely overshadowing the matcha. We also ordered the popcorn chicken, which lacked flavor and seasoning--not the best we've had. The traditional bánh mì was disappointing. It didn't have the typical flavor profile we expected. The daikon was bland, and it only came with Vietnamese ham--no other traditional meats like pork or pâté that usually make a bánh mì more flavorful. That said, the service was great, and we really loved the decor and atmosphere--spacious, cute, and well-designed. When I first started coming here after they opened, I really loved the atmosphere, and their banana matcha was amazing they would also add bigger chunks of the biscoff cookie which i loved tasting. Over time, I noticed they changed their cups, and while the pricing for matcha remained reasonable, the quality seems to have declined and if im not mistaken their price increased its almost $10 now when before it was about $8. Same amount and same cup size Recently, the matcha has tasted off compared to before, and I'm not sure if they switched the type of powder they use. I've also noticed they've been adding less banana cream, which is disappointing. It often feels like the drinks are made in a rush, even when they're busy I think they should take more pride in how they prepare them. As for customer service, it's just okay. I was craving a Vietnamese sandwich and a refreshing lavender drink so I decided to make this my lunch destination. The food tasted delicious so did the drinks. However, the food ordering process got a little mixed up and we ended up with too many drinks and they prematurely took our second order numbers away from the table, then assigned it to someone else's table and gave them our 2nd food order. The food was made promptly. I think staff should practice clarifying with customers if the order is correct by reviewing. A customer service refresher course. Leave the order number on the table until that food is brought to the table. It's typically pretty busy got this picture during some downtime and then it got packed. Wow! I was bowled over by this sweet little Vietnamese restaurant in the busy strip mall near Barnes & Noble. It's not fancy or large in size, but it has food that is scrumptious! I had a bowl filled with vermicelli, bean sprouts, lettuce, and well done tofu. It came with a small egg roll and choice of sauce. I had never tried this creation, and wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was excellence. You order at the counter and they bring out your food, quite quickly, I might add. My friends had their spring rolls, and I swear they were the size of burritos! The Vietnamese coffee was delicious. It was strong and it had the right amount of sweetened condensed milk. The food was a little lackluster for the price. The sandwiches were really small and tasted very Americanized. The chicken in the banh mi was shredded and pretty bland. The pho brisket banh mi had a little more flavor but was not worth $18. I almost got the mango iced tea I got last time ($6) but I decided to switch to the banana cream matcha that was on their specials menu. We just found our new favorite restaurant! Stephen and his crew did an awesome job when we visited here for the first time. We had the pork bowl which was flavorful, but the sauces were the highlight. Spicy garden was a creamy sauce of blended cilantro and jalapeños. It was a nice spice but not too hot for most people. I could put this on almost anything. The Vietnamese vinegarette was also very flavorful. We even dunked our baowzers in them. The baowzers were incredible, they were savory inside with just a touch of sweet on the deep fried outside. We will need to order these everything we come here. It was a little dark inside, but it didn't really matter since I sat outside (all the seating was taken indoors) Service: Great! While I was waiting outside the barista brought my drink to me and said my drink looked extra cute in the jar (it always does lol).
