    Chicken pho

The service here is fast, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. This restaurant provides the best bang for your buck. The high quality of the pho, egg rolls, and everything is wonderful. The garnishes in the pho are plentiful and flavorful. The ambience is simple, and quite comfortable. 10/10 recommend.

Overall I'd give a 3.5, rounded up to a 4. I love pho. And I think paradise pho (first location) has one of the better tasting phos in Fresno. This is my first time here at their second location, and It gives the same vibes as the first. Is the restaurant the cleanest? No, not really. But realistically none of the pho places in town are the cleanest. They also have the AC on but just barely, once you get your food you're already hot. The table behind us were dripping in sweat. Don't come during summer. Take it Togo. Nonetheless--Pho was just as delicious as the first location, HUGE portions, decent price. Skip the spring rolls, I've had better.

Excellent pho. Fast service. Very good lunch place. Not much to look at from outside, but well worth it.

Definitely my favorite pho place in Fresno. I would walk in alone on a cold rainy day, order me a #2 and occasionally a two pc egg roll. As you sit, you can hear the noises of Vietnam playing on the big screen and feel like you are in Vietnam itself. Eating this has probably brought me the closest to enlightenment with only $13 for a medium Pho which is more than enough for my increased amount of adipose tissue. The service is incredibly nice and also continuously fills up my water even when I keep chugging it down.

Dining room is spacious and with plenty of table. One corner of the table I was sitting at was a little sticky. The server was attentive to ordering our food. We all ordered ourselves a #00. The broth was ok (I've had better and I've also had worse). I do have to give it to them that they give a very good amount of noodles in that big bowl. I've been to places where their bowls were "XL" but their noodle amount were no different than the "L" bowl amount. We also order a taro boba and avocado boba. The taro was good. The avocado was horrible. We tasted no avocado flavor in it. We can't even tell what it tasted like. We ended up throwing it away.

Not the first time we have dined here, we were welcomed upon entry and granted permission to sit anywhere we wished. Ordered and enjoyed (11) Rare Steak Pho, (23) 5 piece Eggrolls, (A3) Chicken Wings, and (30) Combination Fried Rice. Everything was well received, most notably the pho broth and chicken wings. Paid at the courteous counter before leaving. Left happy and full.

I come here often and always leave happy. The banh mi is very good and the pho broth is flavorful and comforting. Prices are a great value, the staff is nice, and service is always quick. A reliable spot that never disappoints. A comfortable atmosphere!

Not sure if it's just me but the broth is been overly salty lately. Also the meat portion size in the pho has dropped. I use to not be able to finish the meat in a medium but now I have to order a large to see if I can more meat but still the same, just a bigger bowl. So sad, what happened to one of my favorite place for pho. It was so salty I only took 3-4 bites n left.

#11 rare steak Pho starter pack. Their broth was very clean and appreciated!

We have enjoyed this place numerous times. We've also watched their prices increase as the years go by. But I will say that their pricing has not increased as fast as their competitors. The combination fried rice is good. Could've used more range in flavors and was missing salt. The Beef Chow fun was great. Beef and noodles were cooked perfectly. Loved how the vegetables take on the gravy sauce. And the Rare Steak Pho was incredible. Loved the clean broth and amount of steak provided. For a limited time, they have pho with Oxtail. (Refer to menu picture page 1.) The pho always hits the spot. We always have enough for leftovers, in terms of broth, noodles, AND beef. No reason not to return. Especially since they lack worthwhile competition on this part of town.

Love the broth here. We used to come here as kids but I'm not sure why we stopped. It's just as good as I remembered. The service is quick. Might not be the cleanest but the food never disappoints. Highly recommend!

It's a great hole in the wall. Great/friendly service. Not alot of guests, so makes it quiet. Food comes out quickly. The pho was good. The broth was not bland. The serving is huge. The shrimp rolls and beef dish ... everything was good! Thank you!

Duck & wonton egg noodles with OLD BURNT DUCK BARELY ANY MEAT AND OLD WONTONS. Dry ass cooked egg noodles.

I hate that I'm giving them a 1 star but it had to be done! This rating is only based on my one item To go order. If this place is related to the paradise place on first and McKinley then I've only had that location but that was decades ago lol. This location however did me dirty!!! My first time ordering here and never dined in before. I ordered over the phone "duck wonton egg noodles." It was a dish I seen on the yelp page and it looked fuckin delicious! So I was interested in that. It comes with wontons and duck. And I also like egg noodles. Sounded good to me. I go to pick up my order and I should've checked it before leaving as I usually do with almost everything I order, but this time I didn't!! Probably cus I was so hungry and eager to get back to the house. Anyway, that still wasn't my fault that I received old burnt ass duck with barely any meat on it!!! The wontons also tasted old and the egg noodles looked and tasted like it was already cooked and just sitting there for someone to order it!! Omg it was so horrible. I tried my best to put everything together and season to taste but it didn't help at all! The broth on its own was too fuckin sweet!!! Their chili oil ain't even spicy. I didn't even finish the whole thing. That's how much I couldn't enjoy it!!! Even the herbs and bean sprouts couldn't mask the fact this was shit!' I just can't believe the fact the place had no customers inside and he knew what he was handing me when I went to pick up my order and smiled telling me to have a nice day. How th can I when yall gave me old burnt ass duck n wontons!? Shits crazy. I will never be returning. That ruined it for me cus i wanted to try the other dishes but nope. Can't do it. The fact that they had no customers in there and still manage to not put their all into the dish is mind blowing. No love at all! I'm good!!!!

But since we were dinning in I decided to try their Steak and Eggs with the bread. It was sooooooo good. The warm bread was crunchy on the outside and nice and soft in the inside. The eggs and meat came out on a sizzling try. There were two sunny side up eggs, thick cut of sweet/salty/tender marinated beef, small mushrooms, and pate on top. Paired with the bread this was a very comforting and delicious dish. The Nam Nuong rolls were good. Good portion of fillings and great crunchiness of the eggrolls wrappers and thick cut of the nam Nuong pork. I was only disappointed in the sauce. It was good but lacking depth of flavors. I think my expectation was it go be like the ones at Brodard's. And it wasn't. Located in the back corner, it can be a little hard to find parking if it gets busy but there is also the side parking lot. There was a wait list but we waited in line at the to go counter to ask to be seated. We were given our water and ordered. Once the food was dropped off we weren't checked up on again but this didn't bother us and you pay at the counter afterwards. The place had a lot of seatings with some seatings outside. There were tv playing Vietnamese food channels that was cool. I didn't get anything from their huge options of drinks and Che this time though. Looking forward to doing so next time. If you haven't tried this place, I would highly recommend their Vietnamese sandwiches with extra pate and butter.

Wanted to give this place a shot because it's close to my new work place and really enjoy it!…read more It's attached to the Tea Shop, which you have to walk through first to get to the restaurant. You'll then have to wait to be seated at the register. I think this set-up is kind of awkward but hey, at least they have cute sidewalk seating. There are plenty of tables and long benches to sit at and the restaurant itself feels clean and well-lit! The staff are super helpful also. Tried the House Special Beef Pho and it was pretty tasty! You do have the option to order your dish with regular thin noodles, flat noodles, or egg noodles. The broth is basil-y and the flavor has great depth. They have a self-serve station for condiments where you can grab some chili oil, jalapeños, bean sprouts, and lime. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that I don't feel too bloated after eating here (compared to other pho restaurants). Been enjoying this restaurant and eating here at least once a week!

My memory is shot. I don't want to be handing out 5 stars so easily but I think they deserve it. The restaurant is very clean, and I love the little Asian lanterns they have, all different, above each table. Plenty of seating. When we got there (a little after 5), there was only one other table occupied... by the time we left (6:30), every table was nearly taken. Our waitress, as well as the other on the floor, were both very welcoming and friendly. They handled the service remarkably as a team. The fact that they were a packed house and still were very attentive with us, checking how we're doing, checking on our water refills... these are the little things I appreciate most (and, of course, good food). I got the Pho with the Fatty Brisket, my friend got just the Steak Pho. They have a bar against the wall with all garnishes you may need to grab what you'd like. This is pretty smart... It saves them from waste. Instead of giving people items they may not use-- they would just grab what they'd like themselves. My friend grabbed her goodies, I prefer mine as is. To me, if your broth is good and doesn't require me to flavor it... I'll eat it just like that (unless I feel like adding spice). I've only ever been to a few other Pho places where I had to season up the broth myself...definite no no for them. All my friends who have gone out to eat Pho with me know I eat it just how I get it. Pho from my Mama is a different story though... I put the works (not because it's not flavorful) but, it's just different. Moving on... They also have a Teazona in their establishment. I've tried a few different drinks in the past but came to regularly deciding on the Tiramisu Milk Tea (no flan for me, light boba). Make sure to shake it well. You can also let them know your preference on the level of sweetness. We both got this tonight and it nearly tipped me over on the full scale. Couldn't finish it. Everything was really good though. Pho was the perfect choice for this weird, gloomy weather we've been having. The price is a bit up there but that seems to be the norm everywhere nowadays. But-- for the portion, the quality, and the service? Worth it.

Ordered pork chop, hot tea and pho with marrow which I have already reviewed. Pork chop and sauce is a number two seller directly behind the pho. When I want a pork chop, I want it moist, and the fat crispy and salted and seasoned well. This hit every single mark! I normally care that I am in a restaurant and don't chew on bones. I did not have one care in the world and picked up my pork chop bone and chewed every single crispy morsel of caramelized goodness from that bone. The sauce that accompanies the pork, rice and egg was slightly sweet and was the perfect balance to dip rice and pork into! It was light and bright and enhanced the flavors not overpowering them. The egg. It is surprising how many places can't cook an egg where the yolks natural fatty goodness isn't overcooked. I busted the yolk and let it drip all over my rice mixing it in to give the perfect amount of salt and fat mixed with the swing pork and sauce! It was a perfectly delicate bite filled with different textures! I will definitely order this again! The hot tea is made with natural herbs in it and not a cheap paper tea bag like other places. It is very simple, mild tea that is easy on the tongue and the belly. I enjoy my pot of hot tea every time I come! Thanks again for a day filled with excellent customer service and phenomenal food! I had plenty of leftover for the next day and the day after! The broth was delicious with deep rich flavors and the noodles were slightly al dente, which I loved. I couldn't help myself and active point picked up my bowl and just started sipping the broth. My wife ordered the same thing as I, minus the meatballs and she too, could not get over how much flavor the broth had, almost like they had been slow cooking this for the past three days straight. The spring rolls were 100% handmade and the filling inside was delicious. We did bring our kids with us and we're definitely nervous because they are very picky eaters. They do offer a kids menu, but there isn't much to it. It's basically rice broth and your choice of meat. We ordered my 4-year-old daughter a small bowl of rice with broth and chicken; she loved this and kept asking for more! My son (7) went big and ordered pho with squid... he inhaled everything!
