The broth was ok (I've had better and I've also had worse). I do have to give it to them that they give a very good amount of noodles in that big bowl. I've been to places where their bowls were "XL" but their noodle amount were no different than the "L" bowl amount. We also order a taro boba and avocado boba. The taro was good. We have enjoyed this place numerous times. We've also watched their prices increase as the years go by. But I will say that their pricing has not increased as fast as their competitors. The combination fried rice is good. Could've used more range in flavors and was missing salt. The Beef Chow fun was great. Beef and noodles were cooked perfectly. Loved how the vegetables take on the gravy sauce. And the Rare Steak Pho was incredible. Loved the clean broth and amount of steak provided. For a limited time, they have pho with Oxtail. I was passing through Fresno on business. It was a rainy day so I decided to get some food to warm me up. I always assumed Fresno had a pretty diverse southeast Asian community and this place was highly rated so I decided to check it out. It was OK. The prices are very fair but when you compare it to the east Bay or south Bay like San Jose spots it's just quite isn't the same.Diverse crowd of people were in here, No one really seemed to be Vietnamese. It was busy around noon but there only seemed to be 1 waitress and a good runner. Not a bad spot, I'm just spoiled to the pho in the Bay Area I guess. If this place is related to the paradise place on first and McKinley then I've only had that location but that was decades ago lol. This location however did me dirty!!! Probably cus I was so hungry and eager to get back to the house. Anyway, that still wasn't my fault that I received old burnt ass duck with barely any meat on it!!! The wontons also tasted old and the egg noodles looked and tasted like it was already cooked and just sitting there for someone to order it!! Omg it was so horrible. I tried my best to put everything together and season to taste but it didn't help at all! The broth on its own was too fuckin sweet!!! Their chili oil ain't even spicy. Came here for dinner on a Sunday evening with 2 others and not crowded. We ordered pho and chow mein plus fresh spring rolls. I was able to order just a bowl of broth since I was on a liquid diet. The chicken pho had an abundance of chicken breast in the soup. The seafood pho had a good selection of seafood. The soup comes with a dish of vegetables to add to your pho including bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime and various chilies to add to the soup. The result is a delicious, delightful Vietnamese soup.
