Pho 2006 has been on my radar for a while now and I finally had an opportunity to get my slurp fix during the winter break. Located in the Barnyard shopping center this Vietnamese restaurant is a little dated, but don't let the decor deter you. The food is in incredible! I ordered a large bowl with thin sliced meat balls along with spring rolls for the table. First off, I should've gotten a small bowl of pho, the large bowls here are massive. I had plenty of leftover for the next day and the day after! The broth was delicious with deep rich flavors and the noodles were slightly al dente, which I loved. I couldn't help myself and active point picked up my bowl and just started sipping the broth. My wife ordered the same thing as I, minus the meatballs and she too, could not get over how much flavor the broth had, almost like they had been slow cooking this for the past three days straight. The spring rolls were 100% handmade and the filling inside was delicious. We did bring our kids with us and we're definitely nervous because they are very picky eaters. They do offer a kids menu, but there isn't much to it. It's basically rice broth and your choice of meat. We ordered my 4-year-old daughter a small bowl of rice with broth and chicken; she loved this and kept asking for more! My son (7) went big and ordered pho with squid... he inhaled everything! Even asking if we could order more squid on the side to which we did and he ate that as well. This was huge win for mom and dad, now we can do pho to the family dining out rotation. Recently found this place, not too far from the house! Me and my boyfriend have been here quite a few times. I love the peacefulness of the interior, the quick ordering process to receiving of food, and I love the flavor of the different broths I have tried. The reason for 3 stars: We have been here a few times, and were told by a server that seating was self-serve. We have practiced this each time coming in, but today after sitting at the only clean table(with some to be cleared off) a couple came over to the empty table and stared at us pretty weirdly before a server rushed over and told us to move because its for them. Not sure what happened before us coming in, but that energy was incredibly off putting. I hope we feel comfortable enough to come back. read more

Oh my gosh... how did I miss this place? I've been a pho lover for over a decade and I've tried tons of places, starting with Huang Lan, Pho Delight, Phoever, Pho 777, and Nho Kitchen. But this is officially our new favorite. Everything we ordered was delicious. My son is super picky and always gets fried rice with only egg and chicken, and he's very particular about his fried rice, but he loved it here. We're definitely coming back. read more

So I was so bummed to find out my favorite Vietnamese restaurant had close and I am now on the search for a new spot. This place wasn't bad, I think I would give it more of a 3.8/5 The price was a bit high but you do get a lot of food it felt like, so that was such a problem. The restaurant itself was clean and definitely old school but everyone was really nice Spring rolls 3.5/5 $9.95- you get 2 and we asked for just shrimp inside, it was ok but nothing special. The sauce though was great! Vermicelli bowl with pork and shrimp 4/5 $18.45- I would just get the pork next time nothing special about the shrimp, it was barely grilled and no seasoning. Pork wasn't bad and everything seemed fresh Vermicelli pork bowl $17.75 4/5 - again pork was good big bowl and fresh . I just wish the sauce had a bit more flavor but after adding some extra sauces it was definitely 4/5!! I definitely would come back and hot to try some pho this winter! read more

This small hole in the wall place had the service of an upscale restaurant. I'd really like to commend the awesome people that work here. They had a FULL restaurant and I saw them being very attentive, welcoming and the work ethic was one of the best I've seen! I loved the cleanliness as people left and how they really paid attention to cleanliness details that most places don't. I got the #8 small pho bowl and it was perfect! Nothing better than a nice bun cha combo dac biet on a hot day. Cool, refreshing, and filling with out me feeling heavy makes for a nice summer meal. The pork is so well seasoned, it was a flavor burst in my mouth. The spring rolls were so delicious and the sauce really brought all the flavors together and rounded them out. There was an unexpected freshness that was so satisfying. The sides were plentiful, so many limes was a welcome bonus. I didn't have to ask for more. Service was great, although the soda tasted a little off, they quickly fixed and replace it. I can't complain if I complain and they fix it can I? Ambiance is that if a busy noodle house. I have been coming here for a long time...price obviously has gone up, but they are getting stingier with the protein. I love both the dine in and take out experience, but please try not to do that. We ordered to go and the service was good. Egg roll were dense but tasted good. Spring rolls had shrimp and beef super tasty the dipping sauce was also very good. The pho was great, they packaged it separately because it was a to go order and it was a lot all together. The broths tasted amazing definitely more flavorful than other pho places I've been. No longer the traditional Vietnamese food. The noodles are no longer the Vietnamese noodle. They have been replaced by cheap noodles with very low quality. One of the best Pho spots in the Fresno/Clovis area. Consistently good pho, service, and even the takeout is great. They don't skip you on the broth or meat at all. It's reliable and hasn't ever let me down for the quality of the pho. The "hot wings" on their appetizer menu left something to be desired. They were just okay, and not really spicy in the slightest. I love it on the side to have it more tender to delay the cooking process. The broth here is lightly sweet, smooth, and incredibly satisfying every time, never letting you down. The quality is consistent, so you know you're getting a good bowl of pho each visit. Their Thai tea is fantastic, even better than some boba shops nearby, with a fragrant, strong taste of real Thai tea. They also offer fresh coconuts, which are refreshing and hard to find at many places. Tip: They give you a lot for large so I would get a large and split by 2. It's is worth The price! While I love most things on the menu, the egg rolls fell a bit short for me. They're thumb-sized, taste a lot like pork paste, and at about $10, I didn't feel they were worth the price. Located in a really cute, old "Western" town feeling, there's plenty of parking. The restaurant is clean and has booths and tables for singles, couples and groups! I ordered a small Rare Beef, tendons and tripe. The broth is very light so I added a ton of limes, Sriracha and hoisin sauce. The light needs more beef bones, spices and boiled for more hours to really develop. For a small, it's a great size with plenty of ingredients. Service is great and prices are average. I should've known this place was not it. If you're looking for authentic flavorful pho, travel further into fresno or down the street to Herndon cedar Pho paradise. I was wondering what the high review hype was for, so I brought my family to come try it. When we arrived, there was no Asians sitting down to dine, that should've been a telling sign. It makes sense that this place caters to Clovis taste, but there wasn't flavor to their food. We ordered 2 pho, eggrolls, and vermicelli bowl. The eggrolls taste frozen and cooked. The pho was watered down. The grilled pork vermicelli has bean sprout making up half the bowl with over excessive fried shallot topping the bowl to add flavor; let me just say my noodles were not fresh but edible (like you can tell it was cooked and refrigerated for a while) to the point that they were so broken, I had to use a spoon to scoop the noodles to eat. Stopped by for dinner. It was our first time. Clean open space. We were greeted at the front when we entered and was given the option to sit anywhere. And was given a high chair for our toddler. The young ladies that took our order was nice and almost quite eager. We had to tell her we needed a few minutes to look over the menu. My husband and I both ordered large pho bowls. I had the #2 which came with rare meat and meatballs. We also ordered shrimp and pork spring rolls and combination fried rice. Our orders came out fast and hot. The spring rolls were okay my husband and I agreed that the meat tasted like beef which had a nice marination but it wasn't the pork we were expecting it to be. The pho broth was lightly flavored, not something I was used too but it was still good and they loaded my bowl with so much meat. The fried rice was great there was so much seafood toppings.
