Service was good, they were super nice and helpful. Place was nice and clean as well. Ordered a Beef Laab with sticky rice and also got their chicken and sticky rice. The laab was on the sweet side which was very different. I prefer mine on the sour side and requested it to be extra sour but wasn't. I think because it was so sweet, it didn't taste like laab to me. It looked good but just didn't work for me. Sticky rice portion was a bit small than expected. The chicken and sticky rice was ok, the price was really good. I believe it was under $6 for the chicken and sticky rice. I didnt really like anything but then it's my preference in the taste of the food. But recommend others to give it a try as you might like it more than I did.
Hidden gem. Here's a place you should do all you can to support. As they were friendly and so willing to accommodate even with dishes that were not on the menu. The chef came out even to greet us. I came with colleagues and got to taste a bite of what they all ordered. I was able to try the Pad Thai which was very tasty, seasoned right, and noodles cooked right. I tried the chicken fried rice, so good, I'd definitely come back for that. I got to try the egg roll and spring rolls. Both were done well and comparatively to everyone one else. I ordered the Pad Kee Mow it is a spicy noodle that was done so well. I was in the mood for spicy today and it curbed that craving. The portions were big people had leftovers. The price point was a great value for the rations. On the way out I grabbed some ready made fried chicken with sticky rice. This was a great value and it tasted great. This place is a must visit and must return.

So let's see what this was hittin for. I got that and the soup. The soup I really liked. It got little chopped up Thai chilis in it and I was like BET Ik this gone be good! Yes it was. Very soothing. The kow mun gai was good but I had better. It's not bad. I could still order that again too if I'm in the mood for it.

As a semi- regular there i love this place, a really nice tiny relaxing spot to enjoy, great service and has many southeast asian favorites to choose from. Uncle and Auntie there are very sweet friendly and old-fashioned. if dining-in during the rush hours space may be limited but The great food makes up for it in size and for those who are time sensitive and prefer take out on the go, calling in advance to place an order is another great option and your food will be hot n ready freshly made in no time when you arrive. I am a huge fan of the "CHICKEN KAOPIAK" noodle soup!
In my opinion the best chicken and dice and sausage and rice plates. Ready to go very generous portions Extremely flavorful. The sauce is one of one so savory and sweet with a slight kick. Would definitely recommend anyone eat this. If I lived in Fresno I'd be here everyday lol no lie Uncle behind the counter is so cool he hella chill and the most respectful person I've met. They treat you like family when you walk through the door. I live it here and I hope more customers go by and try this authentic mom and pops restaurant.
Going based off what I ordered. I would need to try other things here before I can get a final thought if I like it or not. Okay so I ordered on the phone their intestine soup, which in lao is GANG KUNG NAI OR THOM KUNG NAI. I ordered it that way and I don't think she understood what I said so I just said it in the English "intestine soup", which is deceiving because there's barely any intestines. Anyway, the color of the soup and the chopped chilis made it look promising but I was wrong. It literally tasted like boiled fatty cuts of meat and some innards, cooked in pho broth. I didn't see any aromatics like galangal or kaffir lime leaves. This isn't your traditional "intestine" soup aka innard soup. I didn't get to take a picture of it because I was hungry and I just rushed to have a little bowl. For $17 too! It was pretty disappointing, I've had it better elsewhere and usually they'll ask if you want it kind of bitter that's how you know it's traditional. I will be coming back to give them another try with their other dishes since the pictures do look good and see if it makes up for the soup lol. The place is pretty small, cute and cozy . Just don't try to dine in with like a 10 plus people. It's right on the Main Street but have plenty of parking. They also have hot food to go.
Food is Awesome, I haven't had all the food, but what my family and I have had so far, it's delicious. Owner Sak & Prat have great customer service and feel like family.
I love this restaurant! I was wanting to do something to celebrate the TLC New Year and was able to reserve a time/table with the owner for a small group dinner. The restaurant is very clean and the decor is very Thai/Lao. The owner was very nice and let me set a reservation close to closing and they let us stay past closing. Definitely ask about reserving time and tables for events! The food was delicious. We had Lao style papaya salad, pad Thai, Lao sausage, red curry, and Thai tea. The Thai tea is the best I've ever had. And the papaya was so good. I asked for Lao style but with a little more sour to it. The owner also gave us a sample of their Lao jerky.
8/10/24 Called and ordered shrimp spring rolls with an extra peanut sauce. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Go in to pick up. Greeted by kind worker and he said it was almost ready. Very nice restaurant. Small, but still plenty of seating. It was ready shortly later. I paid for it and it was handed over in a bag with good day wishes! Lunchtime! Order split. My shrimp spring roll was Great! Fresh & tasty and it had a Great sweet sauce with it! Mother said hers was Great! Great service and Great shrimp spring rolls! Highly recommended! Great name too!=)~
This food is absolutely delicious. We order fried rice , egg rolls and pho beef and Thai tea. Service was outstanding! We will definitely be back.
I was craving Southeast Asian food and wanted to try something besides Sweet Mango which is across the street. I usually never go far from my comfort food which is Sticky rice with meat and a Papaya salad. Every now and then I will get other items. I am very picky about my food. I got their hot to go Sticky rice and sausage (I like the sausage better than Sweet Mango). The sticky rice was a good portion. Sausage was minced and stuffed well. Not as herby as I like, but that might work for others. Their chili sauce in it is good to. I got their papaya lao style. It was fresh and crunchy. The flavor was a good salty flavor. Spice was medium and was pretty spicy, but the kick was good. Thai tea is literally the best I've had in Fresno. The owners were so sweet, friendly and talkative. It is a small hole in the wall and sometimes those are the best places for ethnic food! Thai Me Up has been open only 6 months so if you want to support local and love thai food, definitely check them out! I want to get some Drunken Noodles for my husband to try!

Very sweet couple running this restaurant. Hubby is Thai and wife is Lao. It is well kept, clean, and renovated. They were accommodating and even offered to run to the store to pick up some Thai basil for the pho since they had just ran out. I wasn't too hungry so I just ordered egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls for the table. My brother ordered chicken pho. Also tried the Thai tea. Tea was creamy and not overly sweet- I enjoyed it. Egg rolls were average - a bit bland and lacked protein but they were fresh and the dipping sauce was tasty! Spring rolls were extremely fresh with dark leafy greens,sliced carrots, cilantro and big shrimps. I loved the dipping sauce for the spring rolls, it was not a thick peanut sauce but rather a much thinner sauce and topped with chopped peanuts. My brother enjoyed the chicken pho and it was a big portion. They do have a hot case for grab n go plates but it was empty as they sold out for the day. read more

Food was amazing! The seasonings were on point. I traveled all the way from Texas to try this place out and it was worth the trip. It's a mom and pop shop. 2 stars for me. I just wanted to try it because it was a new spot and to support, plus other reviews and post said it was good. BUT Not sure if I came on a bad day because I ordered Pad Kee Mao ( drunken noodles) and sinlot (beef jerky) it was terrible. The noodles were plain and had no spice. The beef jerky was the worst and the sauce was all fish sauce. It was super dry, no flavor and greasy. Almost like it was recooked or microwaved. I didn't dine in otherwise I would've returned it. I got home and opened it with a huge disappointment. It's difficult to start a new restaurant but you have to stay consistent with the quality of the food. read more

I created my account just to write a review on This restaurant. I found this location at a random. I ordered their Thai tea and fell in love that I returned the same day for more of their thai tea and ordered their pad see ew and egg rolls. Loved the taste and how freshly made everything was. Again, I returned today because I was craving their Thai tea. The staff is so friendly/welcoming!! The inside was clean with no issues. I could definitely say I found one of my favorite spots!! read more
