Came 7:50 Monday and got seated right away. Waitress brought waters and menu promptly. Cute little place with 4 tables and wall counter hi chairs. Clean table with cover. Drunken noodles came first. Then massaman curry and tom kha soup. They are all ok, not the best but above average. Good service. Good portion for the price. Need update the website menu since price are obsoleted quick. Recommended

I came here with a friend for dinner. When we first sat, it was pretty full and then it cleared out. It's a pretty small place, you seat yourself. I got red curry with sticky rice. The curry was very flavorful, and the sticky rice was cooked nicely. For the taste I would go back, but probably would order to go. The service was ok, it could have been better. It seemed like they didn't really care to be there. No one was rude, they just didn't check on us or ask if we needed anything else. We just had to get their attention to ask for things and they weren't busy. There is also no restroom here, so that made it inconvenient. The food is good though.

Family owned friendly and attentive staff who take pride in what they serve. More original Thai flavor than most Thai restaurants in Fresno. They specialize in street fare which gives it that quick smoky sticky flavor. Large portions and fair authentic flavor makes this a local favorite among a variety of patrons.

Hey Thai, Dropped by your place on the way up from LA. Quite a detour from the 99, but heard good things about you from a friend, and we had time, so made the detour. First impression was, you are the epitome of mom and pop. Small, quaint, clearly family run, child chilling in the back kitchen while adults work I was really craving Pas Thai recently but got scared by the mixed reviews. I heard later it is because your style of Pad Thai is different (more street style) so it's prob expectations that causes the mixed reviews. Will try next time. Here is what we got. Pad sew Chicken Larb Fried Pork Belly Green Curry Everything was pretty good. No complaints. Loved the fried pork belly. Overall had a good experience with you. The only turn off was the unexpected Surcharge. I really don't like these as they are unexpected and there is no explanation of why. Also when you pay it flashed on screen pretty quick. Then only the total is shown when deciding on tips and such. Just personally a real turn off. Prefer you get rid of surcharge and raise prices of dishes if you need. No need to leave any bad taste is ppls mouths at the end of a good experience. That's my two cents!

Combo pad thai. Worst I've had.

Sadly the worst pad Thai I have ever had. Dry, clunky, and had an unbearable fishy taste. Pork belly had good flavor but cut too small for my liking. I did enjoy the panange beef. But the pad thai is what killed it for me. I won't be back. Staff seem very nice and friendly although I was just in for a pick up. Clean but small restaurant.

FIVE STARS ALL THE WAYYYYY The Chicken Pad Thai and egg rolls were amazing. We also got to try authentic Thai Tea and Tiger Thai Tea, they were both delicious but the Tiger was our favorite! The staff was phenomenal and service was fantastic too! Literally best spontaneous decision we ever made

Service: Amazing Food: Authentic Ambiance: Great I've been to Thailand and have had the privilege to experience real authentic Thai cuisine. I feel like Thai Taste really does deliver on the "authentic street food" slogan. When I go to Thai restaurants, I like to judge the big 3. Pad Thai, Thai Tea, and Thai Fried Rice. If a place can't take me back to the streets of Bangkok, I will not go back. Pad Thai: Amazing. It had the right flavor and spice level. Add the peanuts and crack sauce on top. Thai Fried Rice: Flavorful, Smokey, and moist. Slap the crack sauce on top of this too. AMAZING. Thai Tea: honestly tastes like the Thai teas I would get at the markets in Bangkok. Lots of tea flavor. Delicious. I will be going back to try more dishes since the big 3 passed.

When you are heading back from Yosemite and the siren call of fast food does not appeal, come to Thai Taste. Delicious Thai staples like pad see ew and spring roll and panang curry. The friendly service made everything perfect!

Pad See Ew, Tom Kha Kai Soup, Pork Egg Rolls, Fried Garlic & Pepper. Was all amazing. Hats off to the Chef's.

What drew me in to this business were the aromas flooding the area. I was like omg where is that smell coming from?!? Right across from Fresno State stadium is this little Thai restaurant which was pushing so much flavor in the air. Just looking thru the glass window you can see one of the owners happily serving dishes to their customers with a big smile. I came in to order fried pork belly, pad Thai, Thai tea and papaya salad was on the house. The crispy fried pork belly was on point, that was the flavor filling the air outside of the business. Almost reminiscent of the old Ac Deli location on first and olive before it burned down. Everything was made fresh to order. The Owners are husband and wife, she is from Thailand so they're authentic Thai flavors and the current cook is a former of Royal Thai Orchid restaurant. I will definitely come back to try other things on menu.

Walked in just because we were in the area and hungry and WOW! I am so glad we did! We went in at around 5:30 and there was a rush of phone calls, but the gentleman kindly took our order after handling 3 phone orders in a row quickly and kindly. He let us know our food might take about 15 minutes but it came out sooner and he even offered a taste of their special soda while we waited which was refreshing! My drunken noodles are SO DELICIOUS and my fiance loved his thai fried rice. We will definitely be back!!!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. I've eaten at dozens of Thai restaurants across California--some fancy, some hole-in-the-wall--but Thai Taste in Fresno might just be the best. The crispy pork with sticky rice is hands-down phenomenal. The pork skin is perfectly crunchy, the meat is juicy, and when dipped in their green and red chili sauces, it's pure flavor heaven. The sauces are fresh, punchy, and balanced--clearly made in-house with care. Their Sukhothai noodles? Incredible. The broth is rich and full of depth, the noodles have a great bite, and the meatballs are tender and flavorful. It's a dish that feels both comforting and exciting--exactly what Thai food should be. On top of that, the owner is the sweetest and makes everyone feel genuinely welcome. You can taste the love in the food and feel it in the service. If you're someone who appreciates authentic, bold, thoughtfully prepared Thai food, this place is worth the drive. Truly a hidden gem--and absolutely Michelin-worthy in flavor and hospitality.

First visit & I honestly can't wait to return soon! Went here on an early Saturday evening prior to a Fresno State Football game in a group of 3 friends, and I instantly fell in love with this place! John was insanely helpful, kind, informative with the menu, explaining ingredients, and modifications available. I devoured the Pad Si Ew with Tofu, rice, and enjoyed some freshly prepared sauces. He even brought out some different textured delicious fried tofu to try with amazing different sauces. Now I've had fried tofu at about 10 different restaurants recently, this was perfection! Crisp on the outside, fresh, hot, and soft, like a marshmallow inside! Blew me away! My friends enjoyed their spring rolls and meal as well. They make everything fresh to order, and I was so pleased with their Vegan options too. I was very content, full, but it wasn't that heavy feel- just satisfied happiness! The vibe inside is very chill, comfy basic chairs, big digital menu, and another screen showing lovely musicians. They said they just opened in May, and I'm sooo hoping everyone goes on over to patron this well run, quality food, awesomed portioned, fantastic business run by the sweetest people! We got to meet additional staff members as we dined, and we felt like family. I highly recommend Thai Taste, well done!

Pad Thai. Take a look at the picture. Nothing else needs to be said. Pass.

Overall, the menu leans a bit outside of the traditional Thai flavors I'm used to, which made the experience interesting and different. The space itself is beautiful and makes it a great spot for a dinner date or a night out. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. They have a large variety of noodles here, pho, thai boat noodles, khao soy, khao poon, and also tons of other thai /cambodian / lao choices. We got a thai boat noodle, khao soy, and pork belly to share. The thai boat noodle and khao soy are delicious. It was my first time ordering khao soy I thought khao soy was a curry based dish, but my noodles were a pork based broth, still yummy though! The pork belly here is huge and served hot and super crispy, miles better than any other pork belly I've tried. The thai tea had an off putting flavor, like they had made it with soy mik? instead of condensed evaporated milk? Total was $83 after tax and tip, this place is pretty hole in the wall but even hole in the wall places have to charge more now to keep up with inflation. Great fast service !

Khao soy. Soy happy.*…read more Why Khao Soy? Because Kh-ao piek and Kh-ao poon feel as standardized as ph-o, but Khao Soi seems to vary from shop to shop. Not just the spelling. Just my observation. And this was amongst the top 3 of the Khao Soys I've had. Lao Kao Soi anyway. The Th-ai version is a different dish to me. I came here Sunday evening. Things were slow. I told him the order just as he gave me the menu, and in exchange, he gave me a plate of bean sprouts and lime wedge instead. Haven't seen that for Kao Soy yet. Then came the utensils. And soon, the ginormous bowl, nay, tub, of KaSoy. The last time I saw a bowl this big in the Bay Area was decades ago in a pho house. They don't make extra larges like they used to in SF. I felt like Patrick, longing, staring with excitement and anticipation at SpongeBob's Pea-nut On-ion Sun-dae , trying to hold down the giggles and butterflies while my eyebrows are sparking. Except this Khao Soy actually SMELLS GOOD. And I still have my eyebrows. And I was not disappointed. The soup was HOTTT, with 3 Ts. The size of the bowl helped keep it that way. The surface of the lava lake was covered by the ground pork that defines Khao Soy. Completely. Just look at the picture. (I took a sip of the broth with the spoon before the picture) I promise you that I didn't go in with a camera in my hand, or point my phone as if I'm taking a video. Maybe it's the end of the day and they were feeling generous or just needed the ground pork gone. Well, I used my phone as a phone, and I didn't use the camera until this bowl came out. Just trust me. The broth was rich with notes of fermented bean paste and heavy notes of garlic, cut by the freshness of tomatoes. Heavy by the standards of a rice noodle soup. The lime helps. You might want to use an extra wedge too. Don't hold back though. There's a treasure hunt in progress. You see, within this bowl were a bunch of roast pork pieces. Quality roast pork pieces. The chicharron still very crispy when I got to each piece. (But that doesn't mean you should sin by letting the chicharron get soggy!) Seems like others have their roast pork left on top, but mine had sunk to the bottom when the Khao soy had landed. No big. This is like how won-ton noodle soups are served when you're Canto, the best stuff at the bottom. What impressed was that the roast pork was still crispy! The particular flat rice noodles used seems to be re-hydrated dried noodles. Normally a downgrade but in this case, a good move. Yes, fresh noodles carry the soup better, but in this boiling cauldron, the noodles used handled the heat much better and longer. After I had finished the noodles, the soup was still very hot, enough that I added the bean sprouts, which were still cooked to a point that they were absorbing the soup's flavor. I tried to finish the soup, but failed. Soooo close, but I have a drive to drive, and I don't want to have an accident on the way back. I don't know where the actual banos are in Los Banyos, and they're probably closed by the time I'm passing through. Now mind you, this is about as heavy as rice noodle soup will get. Take your time once you've found the chicharron. Share it if you can. Don't rush like me or you'll be burping garlic like I did rushing back to SF. If you are on a drive between SoCal and SF Bay or Sac, may I suggest taking the 99 instead of the 5? Instead of hours of just brown yellow and gas stations, you can stop at cities with proper markets. Instead of grab and go fast food or selling your kidney at Harris, why not enjoy some proper, affordable, sit-down chow in Fresno? Maybe this will open your eye to new foods as well! *(Yes. Yes. Terrible espanyol, if you can even call that Spanish, don't come at me with chanclas, pour favour!)

After being seated and served water, it took quite some time for our server, Leth, to take our orders. One coworker specifically ordered the pork belly appetizer and confirmed twice that it was entered correctly. He assured her it was. Shortly after ordering, appetizer plates, spoons, and napkins were brought out, so we assumed everything was in progress. Food slowly began arriving, but service issues quickly became apparent. The first entrée served was a beef pad thai, and when my coworker asked for a fork, our server instead asked if anyone wanted chopsticks. He returned several minutes later with only two pairs of chopsticks and had to be reminded again about the forks. By the time utensils finally arrived, several people were already halfway through their meals. Unfortunately, our server rarely checked back on the table. When my coworker never received the pork belly appetizer she had confirmed twice, she had to walk to the register herself, only to be told it had never been entered into the system. There was also confusion regarding to-go orders and payment. One coworker initially informed the server she had a to-go order and wanted it on a separate check, and he agreed. Later, another to-go order was placed separately as well. At the end of the meal, when we requested split checks, we were told the system only allowed two. We adjusted and agreed to one group check and one separate check for bookkeeping purposes. However, when we reminded the server that the to-go order had been promised on a separate check, he denied ever agreeing to it. Things became even more frustrating when I paid and requested a receipt for record-keeping. Leth told me to wait while he processed the remaining payment and reprinted it. After about 15 minutes, he never returned. As coworkers started leaving, several of us went to the counter to follow up. He eventually returned with only a credit card slip and kitchen printout, claiming he could not reprint the receipt. A manager later approached and explained that she had been told we didn't want a receipt, which was simply untrue--we specifically requested one for bookkeeping. To add to the disappointment, the mango sticky rice we ordered to go came with corn and taro, which was not disclosed anywhere on the menu or in the photos. This was an unexpected surprise and something customers should be aware of, especially for food allergies or dietary restrictions. I would strongly recommend updating the menu description and photos to clearly reflect all ingredients. This experience was especially disappointing because we've visited before and ordered takeout multiple times without issue. The food itself was actually decent--I'd give it 4 stars--but the service was honestly one of the worst experiences we've had for a planned group lunch. The server seemed overwhelmed, disorganized, and easily confused, which made what should have been a celebratory lunch unnecessarily frustrating. The only thing that salvaged the visit was that the food was decent and the restaurant happened to be close enough to Paris Baguette afterward.
