Pomegranate refresher

Ordered the number 1 sandwich the flavors are very amazing bread is homemade subway ain't got nothing on bah-mi-licious & let's not talk about their refresher drinks the pomegranate was very good!! THANK YOU!!!

#1 Combo Sandwich

My husband and I wanted to try a new banh mi place and we came across Banh Mi Licious! The restaurant is really clean inside and the staff are a little quiet/shy but polite. My husband got a Combo Banh Mi/Sandwich which was really delicious and refreshing. I got a Strawberry Refresher with 50% sweetness and 50% ice. It was good but it did have an artificial-strawberry taste to it. Although it wasn't my favorite, I would still like to try their other refreshers. Also, I like that they have several options of sweetness for their refreshers. Definitely look forward to trying more of their food and drinks in the future.

My buddy introduced me to this spot and their banh mi sandwiches are the best in town! Freshly baked bread made in house. The grilled pork was for flavorful and fragrant from the lemongrass marinade it was so delicious. Service was fast and friendly. I also liked how well kept and clean the dining area was. I also got to try their pho and tasted like it was made from 100yr old recipe tasted so home made! Don't sleep in Banh Mi Licious!

The interior was very cute and gave off a jazzy/french style cafe. They played jazz music through the store. Customer service was really good too. The man at the register answered all our questions and even gave us good food suggestions. The waitress was seat and attentive. The food overall I would say is 3/5. We got the special Banh Mi, Steak pho, and two drinks. The bread of the Banh Mi was soft and crispy but the sandwich was kind of bland. The pho was on the sweeter side so the flavor threw me off a bit. The drinks were good! We got a peach refresher and the Vietnamese coffee. Coffee was super strong and the refresher was just the right amount of sweetness. We also tried their macarons and they were delicious ! I give a 4/5 because of the drinks, macarons, and the service. Maybe I'll try something different next time !

Mì Bò Kho (Vietnamese Beef Stew With Egg Noodles)

Mì Bò Kho (Vietnamese Beef Stew With Egg Noodles) & BÁNH MÌ ĐẶC BIỆT (COMBINATION SANDWICH). The stew was rich and flavorful with a good amount of beef & tripe (I added egg noodle just cause). The bread was fresh with a nice flaky crisp. I wish they had a spicy pate, but only added extra jalapeños. I tried adding the chili paste that was on the table but wasn't what I was looking for. Good food, clean restaurant and a special thanks to Anna for the awesome service .

Was around the area, decided to give this place a try. We ordered grilled pork vermicelli, pork chop rice plate, and a grilled pork banh mi to go. They didn't have pork chop so we were okay to replace with grilled pork. The food was great and delicious. Most of all, it's definitely better than some places in the area. Their banh mi was delicious as well. The grilled pork was very flavorful. Service was friendly and nice. Would definitely be back to try their other dishes.

Had a late lunch with my family of 4 (2adults/2 kids). We arrived just before 3pm. It's our first time here. I've been to this location and saw this restaurant about few months ago and added it to our "new places to try" collection. Wasn't quite sure how they operated. There was someone ordering ahead of us so we waited until he finished. Once it was our turn, we told the gentleman working at the front that we were planning to dine in and asked if we should order before we sit, we said yes. There is a 3% credit card fee. Our order: S3-Vermicelli, GRILLED Pork, and Grilled Pork sausage, Banh mi combination sandwich, P2- Sizzling steak pho and R5 Shrimp fried rice. Our first order arrived at our table 15mins after ordering then a few mins later they all trickled in one by one. So I'm actually quite disappointed writing this review after seeing an average of 4 star rates. First off the pho bowl is only one size, I don't eat much but the bowl was on the smaller side honestly doesn't match the price, though I do understand inflation etc... the broth was good. The sizzling steak was on the side covered with a ton of onions I've never see that before (my husband is Viet and said that that's how they do it in Vietnam). The steak was so chewy I almost felt like I was going to choke it was so hard to chew it apart I was eating the pieces whole after attempting to thoroughly chew it. The banh mi was okay, not a whole lot of flavor the baguette was on the hard side. The shrimp fried rice... was the biggest disappointment. We normally order the fried rice for our kids but although the dish looked like it had so much flavor it was so bland! We took 3 small bites between my husband and I. Literally all over the dish, the outer side, inside, the middle etc trying really hard to see if we could taste any garlic/onion powder, or soy sauce, salt or anything really but it tasted like nothing for a $15 dish! So we're not the type to complain about dishes when we go out normally we would just eat what we can since we already paid for it but this dish was so bland we felt the need to address it. My husband ended up going back and letting him know that we didn't want this because it had no flavor. The gentleman who took our order came back to our table and apologized. He even offered to replace the dish with their Banh Mi-licious Fried Rice which cost a $1 more. I asked if they used the same seasoning for that dish, if so we didn't want it and there was no point to making a new dish if it was the same seasonings but I never really got an answer instead, he offered us a refund. Overall, the staff was nice although we did have to ask for some utensils at one point and remind them of the waters that we had requested during the time we ordered. The food was definitely not what we expected and the flavors just wasn't there. Glad to have tired but probably won't be returning. The restaurant is clean and comfortable.

Tofu banh mi

The place is nice clean and service is fast. Food was bland dry and portion for the pho was small. Gave this place a try as I heard great things, but it's not for me or my family, the steak pho was so bland and only had 6 slices of meat, the tofu banh mi was very dry.

The food is fresh and tasty! The ambiance is really nice and cozy! And the customer service is really friendly! I really love cozy quiet places like this and will come here again. You can even study here if you wanted to. Anyways, I highly recommend coming here with your friends and family whenever you get the chance! :]

Good ambiance & service was pleasant. They just soft opened on Monday. ORDERED: Fishcake bahn mi Roast Pork bahn mi Combo bahn mi Meatball bahn mi Char Siu bahn mi Overall, the bread is crispy, but doesn't rip your gums open. They're all nicely stuffed with/both meat & veg (only roast pork was a little light on meat). The veg is pickled but not sweetened. Meatball was a bit of a shocker (flavored like the beef stew & a bit wet). Fishcakes were very very mild but still good. Flavor was good overall, but better when I got home & added more kewpie & hoisin sauce. Definitely the best I've had here in Fresno & I've gone to Sandwich Shop, Le Bahn Mi, Paris Bahn Mi & Lee's. Love that the parking right in front of the store has an awning!

Green meat

As a Vietnamese person and customer : this place needs to close down. Banh mi licious? More like banh mi shiiiiicious We ordered 2 banh mi and spring rolls. Man, I am truly disappointed, first try and it went side ways. The meat was old and dried and GREEN. The sauce for my daughter's spring roll was nasty. No other veggies in except lettuce noodle and meat. The meat smelled like rotten milk and locker room stay away from this place. I ate my sandwich quick because I was hungry but now taking pepto to make sure I'm not sick.

I was looking forward to trying this spot after hearing about it last year. My husband and I had order 8 sandwiches and to my disappointment the bread tasted extremely stale and was crumbly. I have gone to culinary school to know a thing or two about baking bread, and if I'm correct seems like the bread was baked then frozen and or was just left out. If not then I guess the bread is meant to taste that way. The filling was alright. The mayo did not seem homemade either. The only good thing about this place was the friendly service. Other than that I would not return if I was ordering the sandwiches.

Located in the Barnyard shopping center this Vietnamese restaurant is a little dated, but don't let the decor deter you. The food is in incredible! I ordered a large bowl with thin sliced meat balls along with spring rolls for the table. First off, I should've gotten a small bowl of pho, the large bowls here are massive. I had plenty of leftover for the next day and the day after! The broth was delicious with deep rich flavors and the noodles were slightly al dente, which I loved. I couldn't help myself and active point picked up my bowl and just started sipping the broth. My wife ordered the same thing as I, minus the meatballs and she too, could not get over how much flavor the broth had, almost like they had been slow cooking this for the past three days straight. The spring rolls were 100% handmade and the filling inside was delicious. We did bring our kids with us and we're definitely nervous because they are very picky eaters. They do offer a kids menu, but there isn't much to it. It's basically rice broth and your choice of meat. We ordered my 4-year-old daughter a small bowl of rice with broth and chicken; she loved this and kept asking for more! My son (7) went big and ordered pho with squid... he inhaled everything! Even asking if we could order more squid on the side to which we did and he ate that as well. This was huge win for mom and dad, now we can do pho to the family dining out rotation. This is a family own restaurant and the staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. I love the peacefulness of the interior, the quick ordering process to receiving of food, and I love the flavor of the different broths I have tried. The reason for 3 stars: We have been here a few times, and were told by a server that seating was self-serve. We have practiced this each time coming in, but today after sitting at the only clean table(with some to be cleared off) a couple came over to the empty table and stared at us pretty weirdly before a server rushed over and told us to move because its for them. Not sure what happened before us coming in, but that energy was incredibly off putting. I hope we feel comfortable enough to come back.

You can taste the depth, richness, and care that goes into it. It's incredibly flavorful without being overpowering, comforting without feeling heavy, and perfectly balanced every single time. Seriously, this is the kind of pho you crave constantly after trying it once. Their pork belly banh mi is honestly my favorite in the world!!! The pork belly is perfectly tender with just the right amount of crispiness, the bread is fresh and crunchy, and all the flavors come together perfectly. I've tried banh mi from so many places and nothing compares to this one. The dipping sauce ! Are you kidding me?!! And the ban xeo? Absolutely to die for. Crispy, savory, packed with flavor, and paired with fresh herbs and dipping sauce that take it to another level. Every bite is perfection. On top of the incredible food, the atmosphere is modern, welcoming, and comfortable. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of. The owner walks around and greets all the guests, like who does that! They make you feel like family. They also have a full bar, which is such a great bonus, and their lychee drink is my personal favorite! It's refreshing, delicious, and the perfect pairing with the meal. One of the few to have an open bar as well. I ordered the 2nd option Pho on the menu along with an iced Vietnamese coffee which plus tip, came out to $36. Food: Their Pho broth is one of the best I've had. I've eaten at many places in the Bay Area and Orange County and this one wins hands down. Broth had the right amount of saltiness where I didn't need to add much. And you can actually taste the spices which I'm pretty huge on. Big flavor bomb indeed. Cons: My only knock is skimming on the noodles and meat. For $18, you do pay a little higher than most places. I'd definitely pay that for the quality alone but felt shorted. Customers are smart, they pick up on things all the time. I just wish this was improved and this place easily gets a 5 star. Definitely will be one of my new go to places for Pho in town!

This pho has a deep, rich, and flavorful broth, with a generous amount of meat. Our server encouraged us to melt some of the marrow into the broth, resulting in a silky and decadent soup. Ordered pork chop, hot tea and pho with marrow which I have already reviewed. Pork chop and sauce is a number two seller directly behind the pho. When I want a pork chop, I want it moist, and the fat crispy and salted and seasoned well. This hit every single mark! I normally care that I am in a restaurant and don't chew on bones. I did not have one care in the world and picked up my pork chop bone and chewed every single crispy morsel of caramelized goodness from that bone. The sauce that accompanies the pork, rice and egg was slightly sweet and was the perfect balance to dip rice and pork into! It was light and bright and enhanced the flavors not overpowering them. The egg. It is surprising how many places can't cook an egg where the yolks natural fatty goodness isn't overcooked. I busted the yolk and let it drip all over my rice mixing it in to give the perfect amount of salt and fat mixed with the swing pork and sauce! It was a perfectly delicate bite filled with different textures! I will definitely order this again! The hot tea is made with natural herbs in it and not a cheap paper tea bag like other places. It is very simple, mild tea that is easy on the tongue and the belly. I enjoy my pot of hot tea every time I come! Thanks again for a day filled with excellent customer service and phenomenal food! Paired with the bread this was a very comforting and delicious dish. The Nam Nuong rolls were good. Good portion of fillings and great crunchiness of the eggrolls wrappers and thick cut of the nam Nuong pork. I was only disappointed in the sauce. It was good but lacking depth of flavors. I think my expectation was it go be like the ones at Brodard's. And it wasn't. Located in the back corner, it can be a little hard to find parking if it gets busy but there is also the side parking lot. There was a wait list but we waited in line at the to go counter to ask to be seated. We were given our water and ordered. Once the food was dropped off we weren't checked up on again but this didn't bother us and you pay at the counter afterwards. The place had a lot of seatings with some seatings outside. There were tv playing Vietnamese food channels that was cool. I didn't get anything from their huge options of drinks and Che this time though. Looking forward to doing so next time. If you haven't tried this place, I would highly recommend their Vietnamese sandwiches with extra pate and butter.

My memory is shot. I don't want to be handing out 5 stars so easily but I think they deserve it. The restaurant is very clean, and I love the little Asian lanterns they have, all different, above each table. Plenty of seating. When we got there (a little after 5), there was only one other table occupied... by the time we left (6:30), every table was nearly taken. Our waitress, as well as the other on the floor, were both very welcoming and friendly. They handled the service remarkably as a team. The fact that they were a packed house and still were very attentive with us, checking how we're doing, checking on our water refills... these are the little things I appreciate most (and, of course, good food). I got the Pho with the Fatty Brisket, my friend got just the Steak Pho. They have a bar against the wall with all garnishes you may need to grab what you'd like. This is pretty smart... It saves them from waste. Instead of giving people items they may not use-- they would just grab what they'd like themselves. My friend grabbed her goodies, I prefer mine as is. To me, if your broth is good and doesn't require me to flavor it... I'll eat it just like that (unless I feel like adding spice). I've only ever been to a few other Pho places where I had to season up the broth myself...definite no no for them. All my friends who have gone out to eat Pho with me know I eat it just how I get it. Pho from my Mama is a different story though... I put the works (not because it's not flavorful) but, it's just different. Moving on... They also have a Teazona in their establishment. I've tried a few different drinks in the past but came to regularly deciding on the Tiramisu Milk Tea (no flan for me, light boba). Make sure to shake it well. You can also let them know your preference on the level of sweetness. We both got this tonight and it nearly tipped me over on the full scale. Couldn't finish it. Everything was really good though. Pho was the perfect choice for this weird, gloomy weather we've been having. The price is a bit up there but that seems to be the norm everywhere nowadays. But-- for the portion, the quality, and the service? Worth it.
