Finally tried the famous springy coffee in Fresno!! Tried one of their seasonal items, carrot cake latte, and it was super tasty. If you love carrot cake then this is the perfect drink for you. It is sweet but it's not overpowering. I love how they added actual carrots and walnuts which make it even better. Asked the lady helping if she had any stickers or anything and she found a car freshener and stickers!! Overall great service and vibe. Springly is a great modern take on Vietnamese classics! I love the fresh approach to spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, and more. I like getting the spring roll trio which includes shrimp, beef, and a pork sausage patty. Highly recommend the coconut curry dipping sauce! It has a great depth of flavor and spicy kick to it. Their drinks are on the sweeter side and prices in general are a little steeper than some other places in Fresno but I think you're getting great quality in exchange. read more

I love this location its conveniently located in River Park near Barnes and Noble and Home Goods. I popped in on a Monday afternoon with friends and the store was moderately busy. The store itself was cute, but we just had to ask an employee to help us wipe down a couple tables for us to use. I ordered the grilled chicken vermicelli bowl with spicy garlic sauce and a mango tea. The sauce had the perfect amount of spice without being overwhelming. The chicken had good flavor as well. However, the egg roll I received was not hot or crispy. Two of my friends had ordered the furikake fries and there was a noticeable difference in the lack of seasoning among one of the orders. The menu itself is pretty extensive and is a good intro of Vietnamese cuisine and flavors and incorporating traditional American flavors for those who like to stick to their norm. The food and drinks were all great. However, it is at a higher price point that you would see at other cafes or Vietnamese restaurants. I'll be back to try more off of their menu! read more

First Time here in 2025 they first opened in August 2024. Only location in Fresno. Sparingly is a Vietnamese Food Restaurant. Nice comfortable seating and esthetic interior design is nice. Service was friendly and tables were clean. We tried the egg rolls , Pho, kids chicken nuggets and fries, and Pork Ban Mi. Everyone was happy with their meals. Smoothy and Matcha Spanner drink size 14 oz was a little small for paying $8. But it did taste really good. We will be back to try more of the menu. read more

Okay, the first time I went I was mid blown, usually places that look aesthetic end up tasting not to par from their looks. However the carrot cake latte was beautiful, the matcha was more average (not much flavor) but the latter was definitely better. The second time we went we were exited because of how the first experience went, however it was inconsistent. We got the white hot chocolate with peppermint with the marshmallow rim and they accidentally gave us both hot and cold version and it was veryyyy sweet, it was sugar on top of sugar and it looked like watered down milk without the marshmallow top being torched. The hot and iced were so sweet you couldn't have more than two sips. We also got another drink but can't remember if it was good or not because the other drinks were so bad. I will say this, it may have been because it was packed and the staff ran through the drinks causing inconsistencies. On the positive note, the staff both times were so helpful and kind! read more

I went today, and although very pretty, the matcha was actually so gross I could barely finish it. I had already got home before trying it, but was really disappointed. I saw on Instagram that they sell flower bouquets as well, but when I came (Dec 2024) they didn't have any. I ordered the Cloud 9 (latte with coconut foam and coconut flakes) and it tasted great! The coffee was strong, but the aftertaste heavily reminded me of condensed milk. I personally love condensed milk so that worked out in my favor. Most latte's were around $7-9. The cashier was nice & patient with the questions I had on making a custom drink. She also told me they would remake if I didn't like the sweetness level. Though I do wish I kept my receipt, I couldn't remember if I ordered it with lychee jelly or not (or if that's even on the menu I know they don't have regular tapioca boba). I came here because I saw pic of the cloud nine iced coffee and it looked so cute I had to come in and try. I've been on the hunt for egg foam coffee here but have not been able to find it. The cloud nine iced coffee is an espresso based drink, with coconut cold foam, coconut flakes, and condensed milk. I also ordered a signature saigon which is basically a ca phe sua da. The interior of this cafe is super cute!! This would be a great place to get coffee / brunch/ yap with friends. The cloud nine drink is soo good!! It was sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet, and the coconut cold foam and flakes were great. I wish it came in a larger size, because a 12 oz cup is pretty small. Been craving matcha! So I gave this place a try and I was not disappointed. They have so many different flavors that sound so delicious. Definitely have to go back to try all of them and also try their spring rolls. I orders the strawberry shortcake matcha which I asked to be a little more sweeter than normal 10/10, the banana matcha was also tasty but ended up adding a tad bit more sweeter and I wish it gave more banana flavoring. Lastly the Matcha with maple syrup and cinnamon? Forgot what that one was called but super delicious. We also got their popcorn chicken but didn't look anything like the picture. Usually when we get popcorn chicken there would be fries basil and garlic pieces with it. The spicy seasoning wasn't coating every piece of the chicken just a sprinkle on one side of the box. The chicken came with a side of sweet and sour, I mean it didn't taste bad but I definitely had better popcorn chicken elsewhere. I forgot to take a picture of the spring rolls, but everything on the menu that we ordered was great. You go up to the counter to order. But someone occasionally walks around to ask if everything is alright. You get three large and stuffed spring rolls with plenty of sauce. I highly recommend this. The pho broth is delicious and tasty. Though the restaurant is a little gimmicky because they do a whole bunch of things (boba/coffee shop that also does Vietnamese food), they do the food well. I would only recommend that the restaurant should: (1) put more bean sprouts and basil leaves, (2) get more seating, and (3) get a couple high chairs. Outside of this, a fun little restaurant to get a drink and quick bite to eat. read more

I'm barely getting into Asian cuisine so I didn't get any of the food besides their strawberry smoothie which was pretty tasty and with the perfect sweetness. Very cute place, it's a combination of a few local businesses serving Vietnamese food, tea, coffee and pastries. I've been wanting to try for a while. The staff were friendly and helpful. Ultimate Breakfast Banh Mi (4/5): I don't usually go for their food, but I grabbed one of their banh mi's and was pleasantly surprised. The herb butter bread they use is a highlight of the sandwhich! Not a big fan of the ham and the cheese, but I really liked the cubed eggs and bacon. The only thing downside of this place is the pricing. The $7 starting point can be justifiable for the quality of coffee you're receiving, but it is also one of the highest out of all the other cafes here in Fresno. The first time I had Springly was a few months ago and I fell in love with their lavender matcha latte, which was my first time ever trying lavender with matcha. To my surprise it was delicious! I came in again recently really looking forward to their drink but to my surprise, it was a lot sweeter and the matcha wasn't strong anymore. It also was a bit thin, which I prefer a more frothy/thick matcha to add more body and creaminess to the drink. Very disappointed and saddened because it's really hard finding a place with authentic quality matcha. Like many places, I feel like they have reduced their matcha strength and sweetened their drinks to cater to the public, who do not appreciate or have a taste for true matcha. It would be nice if there was an option for matcha strength levels so it can be customized to a person's preference. I did enjoy their other drinks such as their coffee. Their maple Eispanner Latte was quite good and I would get it again. I also tried the Banana Cream Matcha. The banana cream pudding was delicious and I love the dehydrated banana pieces. It was crunchy and sweet. I typically don't like dried fruit but it was really good. In comparison to the banana pudding, the matcha didn't taste very sweet which I didn't mind, but beware for people looking for a sweeter drink. You can also mix a bit of the pudding to the drink to sweeten it. I just wish the matcha was a bit thicker/creamier in consistency. Next time I'll try their Banana Cream Latte, I think I would like it a lot better. I also tried their Saigon Fries. It had a lot of flavor and the fries were crunchy. The portion was large and big enough to share with multiple people! I substituted the pork for chicken and it was good. I do prefer the beef with the Saigon Fries though. Workers are friendly, orders come out quickly, and the vibe of the shop is quite nice. It's a very cute spot! Ordered the plain matcha and it was the only matcha I've ever had out that compared to the matcha I make at home.
