I am obsessed with this place! Ive driven by it so many times but never actually went in. I got the coconut milk tea with ube cream. We also tried a few of the mini bowls of noodles. They are $3 each, we tried the pho, khao soy, and thai boat noodle. This is great for indecisive people like me or people who just want a small taste of everything. I wish all pho places had options like this. Sometimes you just want a taste of something, and dont want to order an entire portion. We also ordered a sausage with rice dish to share. Mini bowls? Whoever came up with this idea deserves a raise. Seriously... where else can you get something freshly made and served by an actual human for under $3 these days? I came in thinking I'd order one. Next thing I knew I was collecting mini bowls like Pokémon cards because I wanted to try everything. The bowls were packed with flavor and made it ridiculously easy to sample a bunch of different dishes without committing to one giant meal. Then there was the Hmong sausage with sticky rice. Let me tell you... they do NOT mess around with the sticky rice. I think they accidentally gave me enough to feed a small village. It lasted me two days and at least four meals. My refrigerator and I both appreciated the generosity. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the place has a fun, modern vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. The only thing I'd change is the drink. It was definitely on the sweeter side, But it still tasted good, and I'd probably just ask for less sweetness next time. I love this place. I always take my daughter here after she gets out of therapy, the food is amazing, as well as the drinks. Taro heaven and Coco Blue is our favorite go-to ! The drinks are a really good size for the price as well. The BEST fried rice in Fresno, in my opinion better than teppanyaki also The SPAM Musubi is addicting!! Came here for the second time. Last time we ordered Brown Sugar and Cookie and Cream. They were good so we came back again. Today we ordered Brown Sugar and Dirty Tiger. Very disappointed that there were only a few bobas in each drink. Maybe 5-6 pieces of boba in each drink. Boba quality was subpar. Kind of soggy, not chewy at all. My second visit here. They were busy. There is no place that offers a $2 mini bowl of noodles. My family love the Kapoon and Ka Piak. We also love the popcorn chicken. The service is good and it's clean. The price is very good if you want to bring a small family. I had a chance to try the boba. I had the cookie n crème option. I liked it. Came here on a weekend towards night, it was empty and clean! Ordered about 6 different drinks and there was only one worker making all the drinks so it took a long time for our drinks to be made. Overall, most of my family and I did not like the drinks. They weren't bad, but nothing spectacular or worth noting. Boba was overcooked, drinks were really sweet, and straws are too short for the cup. The worker was very kind and friendly, so service was great! Did not have any of the food served here before but my mom has and likes their food! Drink wise, would probably not come back here again. Good rice to spam ratio with a delicious, mildly spicy, sauce that goes in between the rice and spam. I'm also a fan of their steak bowl and their bacon fried rice. The flavors and taste of the drinks have been consistent and made to order. You specify your level of sweetness, ice, and add-ins. My aunt wanted boba so badly in Fresno that we decided to try out a boba place. I was hesitant at first because I know normally there are a lot of sugar in these drinks. But, surprisingly I was able to put 0 sugar in the drinks and customize it the way I feel it would be as healthy as it can be which is a plus. Service was friendly and fast, a woman at the register even gave suggestions to what drinks are popular and explained how there customizable options are made. Price for drink was about $7 or $8; however each topping added is $0.85 which we ended up getting. Two of our drinks had boba and one had a coffee jelly. There are plenty of options and they listed there most popular drinks on a separate menu. There were about 16 other drinks. You could also order from the food menu which includes popcorn chicken, tempura and some other items that were like snacks or appetizers. Overall, not bad at all. The smoothie I ordered specifically was a banana, coconut and pineapple blend with the coffee jelly, 0% sugar, satisfied with the almond milk substitute. The drink was refreshing. The restaurant features a fantastic deal with small bowls of soup priced at just $2. I tried the curry khao poon and Thai boat, both earning an 8/10 from me, but the khao poon tso only scored a 4/10. Been coming here for the last three months and so far everything is consistent and tastes very good! I enjoy the mini $2 bowls to where you can have a small bite and flavor of different noodle soups. My favorite is the khaopoon tso and Thai boat noodles. The sausage and sticky rice is so fire also! I love how they make their purple sticky rice. The space is small and seats are limited so if you're trying to dine in make sure to go right when it's opened or after lunch hours to get a seat. The boba drinks there are very good to which is not super sugary if you don't like it overly sweet. Customer service is on point. The cashier/servers are very welcoming and informative. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Walked in on a Saturday mid day and they only had enough for one vietnamese iced coffee which was fine. But then it took like 20 minutes and the guy was so rude. I get my coffee and it looks like the color of a tire... And I'm like isn't this supposed to have milk like condensed milk and he said I mixed it in which I fucking doubt. He looked at me and was like it's vietnamese iced coffee and I'm like I know what it's supposed to look like. I do not recommend. So happy this place replaced the last boba place. The drinks were really good and customer service was great! We were greeted when we walked in and was asked if we had any questions about their menu. The cashier was very nice and gave us great recommendations. While we waited for our drinks we played some games that the store had available. I haven't played Guess Who since I was a child! I was able to play with my cousin and daughter. We were only suppose to be at the shop to grab a few drinks and leave, but we ended up staying for almost an hour playing games and had then we ordered hot snacks. I'll start with the good first: I lovved the atmosphere of this place and the service was pretty nice as well. I'm always looking for cafes or tea places that're open later because I like to draw. I didn't get to try the food but it smelled scrumptious. I got the Hokkaido Milk Tea and have had this kind of tea at other places but it was like I ordered a coconut milk tea. If they had mixed Assam and Hokkaido I wouldn't've cared but I absolutely hate coconut. After a single sip I asked for a replacement if possible because I wasn't going to drink it and it just wasn't right to begin with. They said they could replace it and after placing my order and taking the drink I was asked to pay again. I would've preferred if they just said. "No we can't replace it sorry." Instead of leading me on and now I have to pay. I should've just said never mind but I was put on the spot. I ended up with a watery Jasmine after. I don't recommend the drinks. I'm used to other drink places just replacing unsatisfactory drinks, which for me doesn't happen very often if at all. It takes a lot for me to ask for a replacement. read more

After a relaxing dim sum lunch at her fav restaurant, I wanted something to "cool off" & Boba Luv popped up on my search. BL is located in a small plaza just east of First St. between a collectibles shop & massage parlor, somewhat obscure & not in a high foot traffic area. The shop is small, open with limited seating; upon entry there's an IG photo op: "Let's Par-tea" neon signage against a faux foliage wall. The drinks & food menu pays homage to Taiwanese style, but I think it's also an eclectic mix of Vietnamese, Mexican, & Japanese with offerings such as Nam Van, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Mangonada, Spam Musubi, Musubi Bowl. I was taking my usual snaps when I was greeted. Alyssa was friendly & patient in explaining their drinks. This is one of those pics (signature menu) where it's not worth a thousand words, requiring an explanation of the ingredients/toppings. A couple caught my eye, so I tried a standard signature: Strawberry Matcha (added Strawberry Coco Jellies to complement the strawberry flavor) & Nam Van; while I kinda knew what Nam Van was (seems like a riff on chè trái cāy or chè thái), I wanted to be sure. I ordered both drinks with half ice & 50% sugar level. Since chè is a dessert, I don't think it needs added sugar. I really liked that they used real strawberries instead of a jam in the strawberry matcha, but the matcha was not a good matcha because its flavor was muted; it didn't have a slightly bitter & vegetal taste that I'm accustomed to with matcha teas. And there was just enough strawberries & jellies to get through the drink. My son liked BL's version because it didn't have the norm bitterness of a good matcha. In this almost 100° weather, it was a sweet & cool counter to this summer heat. The Nam Van is a solid chè drink, though I needed to break the lid to get some of the larger jackfruit out; typically chès are served with a straw & spoon. BL was particularly generous with the toppings. M thought this was more similar to the Filipino halo-halo, but without the yam & ube ice cream, because of the multi-colored layers. He's a boba, not chè, connoisseur. Boba Luv's concept is a BYO drink format of: fruit or milk tea, slushie, fruit juice, galaxy drink, or smoothie, with 16 of their signature drinks. Drinks run at $6.25, excluding toppings (either 55¢ or 75¢ ea.), with signatures at $6.75; it's been less than a year & their signatures increased 12.5%. Is it me, or has boba become expensive? I can still get them in the $5 range with a topping in my neighborhood (South Bay), but they're also hitting $6 - $7. A tad farther from my aunt's place, it's one of the better boba shops that I wouldn't mind going out of the way for, especially since we often dine at Imperial Garden, it's only a minor detour. We're seeing a lot of new boba shops open here in Fresno, and I gotta say that this place is pretty good. It recently opened and it's a small shop in a great shopping area. The staff were really nice and the menu was very straightforward. I love that they told me I was able to replace the toppings included in the Top 13 drinks, because I know some boba places are very finicky about that. I ordered a Taro Heaven and Brown Sugar (boba replaced with egg pudding). The drinks are also a straight $6, like that's a steal compared to other shops. Drinks tasted amazing, I really love the brown sugar here. Not too sweet and not too plain. I will definitely come back here and I recommend trying the place out! read more

We went yesterday, on their first day of the soft opening. Everything was great and the service was nice and quick. We got the regular milk tea with cheese foam, and a blueberry tea. Both drinks were great! The milk tea was a little sweet for my liking(and compared to other places) so I'd maybe recommend getting it 75% sweet. The inside of this place is nice and clean and decorated. I'd love to come back and try more of their teas! You should definitely try it! read more

When I first walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the cashier and barista. They were really nice and informative when it came to drink specialities and recommendations. :) Super cute and clean environment too! Lots of seating spots. The menu was huge and had a lot of variety of different flavors + drink options which is a major plus. I got the Taro Heaven, Dirty Tiger, and Brown Sugar plus a Bubble Waffle. The Bubble Waffle includes vanilla ice cream, strawberries, chocolate drizzle, sliced almonds, powdered sugar & ofc, the waffle itself. SO GOOD! As a first timer, this is by far hands down my favorite boba shop in Fresno. The wait time was minimal. The drinks were PERFECT. I was never a fan of tiger tea, but now I'm obsessed. I look forward to trying their other options they have to offer. Sidenote: They also have almond + oatmilk as an option for my non-dairy people!
