Needed a drink on a hot day, was surprised to see Hojicha which isn't listed on the menu on the app at the moment. Ambiance is pretty nice, but on a Saturday afternoon it was pretty quiet Service was reasonably quick, Hojicha needs a whisk to be spread and preparation is slightly laborious. Would.
The strawberry matcha was so good! It didn't have that strong grassy flavor that matcha sometimes has at other places. The honeydew melon drink was perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, just right. The churro cruffle was definitely worth getting. It had a delicious tres leches flavor with cinnamon sugar that made it really unique. Next time I'll definitely add the vanilla soft serve on top. The girl at the counter was really sweet and gave us some great recommendations for next time. We also arrived early enough that the service was super quick.
This boba spot is so cute, kid friendly with a lot of fun things to do like table games and claw machines to keep you entertained while enjoying a sweet drink. The tayakis are so bomb either sweet filling or a savory cheese filling. Get it extra crispy uncut if you enjoy the textures. My kids are always happy when I bring them here. The staff is great, they always have great positive energy and vibes. Love them!!
This is THE one-stop-shop for all your Asian sweet cravings. Sweet Ppang is a very cute shop located in the same shopping center as the Target and A Hopeful Encounter in Fresno, and they really have it all: boba, taiyaki, ice cream, croffles, and plenty of other desserts to choose from. The only "downside" for me is that they're not closer to where I live! I've had their green Thai tea with boba, mango green tea with mango star jelly, Thai milk tea with boba, matcha taiyaki ice cream, and strawberry cream cheese taiyaki. Everything is made fresh, and you can really taste it. The boba is perfectly soft yet still chewy and sweet, the Thai teas are spot on: creamy, sweet, and a little bitter from the tea (and a little floral for the green one). Their taiyakis are soft and chewy - some of the best I've ever had. Not to mention, the family that runs this place (yes, it's family-owned and operated) are so friendly and kind. You can tell they really care about their space and want to build a community around their shop. They also have put a lot of effort into cohesive, aesthetically-pleasing decor. Definitely check them out!
I remember first hearing about this place based on the Fresno Bee article talking about the Cambodian family who opened this business. I come here all the time for the taiyaki with red bean filling -- usually I call ahead to order and the order is ready within 5-10 minutes. The taiyaki is made fresh to order and is also so crispy, warm, and doughy whenever I come here. They also sell Taiyaki with frozen yogurt, which is delicious. And boba teas as well. The variety here is great and they put a lot of care into their food. I think they can work on not bagging everything. Sometimes they put my small order in a big paper bag when I don't need it, so I usually try to tell them not to bag it if they haven't done so yet -- just to help the environment a little bit. They also sell a few souvenirs like mugs, shirts, etc. -- similar things that I have seen them sell at Cambodian New Year at the temple earlier this year. So glad this place has opened up and I'm happy to see them doing so well, especially during the community events here. I hope they continue to do well. There is plenty of side tables and regular tables throughout and plenty of seating. However, this place can get very busy, but it's still pretty big to accommodate its many customers.
What a delightful place for hang out and sweet treats. TAIYAKI IN A CUP $6.75 : They were very generous for the portion. For this price it's a steal! It comes with 3 topping and 1 filling. TAIYAKI : They mix for the Taiyaki was on point! It taste just like crispy waffles. But the Taiyaki taste more like bread because of the soft bread from the inside. I choose nutella as my fillings and these two just melts together so well. The Taiyaki was hot and crispy yet soft too! Yumm... MATCHA ICE CREAM : This flavor is a bit on the bitter side. The sweetness balance out the bitter matcha. RATE : 5/5 STRAWBERRY+MATCHA ICE CREAM : It seems like the ice cream machine gave me more of the strawberry ice cream than the matcha ice cream. The strawberry flavor is over powering the matcha so I couldn't taste the matcha much. But it still taste very good. RATE : 5/5 SERVICE : Great service! They were very friendly and attentive. RATE : 5/5 AMBIANCE : It's quiet there. There's not a lot of customers. They do blast korean music with closed caption on. They did great on interrior design. It's very bright and uplifting. Lots of cute pastel colors. The seats are Cushioned and its supper soft and comfortable. They have lots of board games and toys for entertainment. They also have several little Japanese claw machines and merch for sale. Great place for studying or hangout too. OVERALL : A great place for some sweets and hangout. Overall their ice cream taste pretty good. The consistency of ice cream was well made. It's creamy and sweet. The takiyaki was hot, crunchy and soft. The nutella just melts in. There's so much ice cream left that I could barely finish it. The price is right on! Very affordable. I'll definitely recommend this place to anyone. It's a great place for all ages, kids, couples, friends or anyone. It's cute and perfect!

Happened to visit while there was a K-pop event going on which was rather neat they even had some vendors in there! As for what I ordered : - Taiyaki with vanilla soft serve 10/10 I'm not usually a soft serve type of gal but this one was great! The serving is quite generous I'd say it's better for sharing!
I went during their grand opening back when they had it and they did not disappoint! The vibe is so welcoming and upbeat, the family that owns it is super sweet, and they have a variety of drinks and sweets for everyone! I got the signature taiyaki- 3 custard and 2 Oreo and they were to die forrrrr! I wish I had gotten more honestly! I then got a fruit tea with boba which was sweet and flavorful but I'll have to go back and try their other drink options! Definitely check this place out if you want a different type of dessert night!

We got the vanilla ube ice cream with the taiyaki and honestly it was so good. The taiyaki is perfectly crispy yet chewy when you bite into. I got mine with coconut flakes and mochi and ugh it was so good. They also have a few claw machine games and a little arcade game for kids. The side is also packed with table games that you can enjoy while you wait for your order. I will definitely be coming back here to try the bobas and croffules! The filled taiyaki was not bad, we got red bean, strawberry cream cheese, mozzarella and half cheddar half mozzarella. The strawberry cream cheese was a little bit disappointing so that will not be on our get again. The cheeses and red bean were good. Red bean taiyaki would've been great with vanilla ice cream.

The pandan croffle was so good and not overly sweet. The taiyaki ice cream cone is also a cool twist. The fruit tea is so refreshing and the milk tea is blended perfectly. Friendly customer service welcomes you as you walk in to a bright shop with cute decor. Large easy to view menu on tv monitors. And a few games for the kids to enjoy while waiting or hanging out. Service was wonderful & ambiance was standard for a boba shop. They were extremely busy! Got the strawberry banana black tea w/boba & a custard taiyaki. Taiyaki was hot & crisp & custard was nice & warm. It was delicious!!! Tea was very very good too. Will definitely go back here again & again. Definitely going on my short list of boba favorites here in Fresno!
This is the cutest little spot! They have adorable decor, board games, and some arcade games to play too. The drink menu is extensive which has a little for everyone. The Vietnamese coffee is strong but so delicious. But the best item on the menu is the Croffle. It is a croissant pressed into a waffle iron with your choice of toppings. This one has Nutella, whipped cream, and powder sugar. It's crunchy on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside. Then, the sweet and chocolatey Nutella, yum! The workers are always very friendly and the service is quick too!

Honestly went in because we wanted something sweet. This place was AMAZING. The customer service great. The whole aesthetic was super cute! They had some video games, board games and even a cute little photo op. The ice cream and tea was so good! Highly recommend! read more

Can definitely see myself coming back here! The croffle and ube ice cream were really good. I like that the croffle was crisp and a little dense and that the ice cream wasn't too sweet. The staff were friendly and helpful. They gave me an ice water in a boba cup which was generous compared to a small water cup. It's nice if you stay to eat or drink there in the store because they have some board games you can play like Connect 4 and Jenga. read more

The soft serve ice cream is really good. The strawberry matcha is good but the strawberry is overpowering the matcha so you can't really taste it. But I love the matcha soft serve ice cream. The service overall is good. Love the inside decor. read more

First off, super friendly service! Greeted right away and were helpful with the menu. I got a matcha taiyaki which is matcha ice cream with a cone that's shaped like a cute fish, it was light and crisp. Freshly made when ordering . They also offer 3 toppings of your choice and I got mini mochis, mini m$ms and sweet condensed milk. Other options were Ube, milk and strawberry. Great size for just 6 bucks. There are plenty of cute seating inside and a few claw games there with cute hello kitty plushies. Christmas music playing, everything about this shop was great, no complaints and a happy tummy! read more
I came by for a sweet treat on a hot afternoon. The ube soft serve was soo delicious and paired nicely with the taiyaki. Love that this is down the street from me! Their taiyaki's are really good! Reasonable pricing as well. I love that u can do a sweet or savory filling. They even have croffles. Those are fire! I just love the texture when it's freshly made. They carry snow ice which I have yet to try from there. I've tried a couple of their drinks and so far they are just okay. Maybe I'm just picking the wrong drinks. Omg like the recent one I tried which is a lavender rose milk tea. I wanted to try it cus I like lavender but I was afraid of the rose and my dumbass still wanted to be daring and try it anyway. I'm afraid of rose flavor being too floral and perfumey.. and that's exactly what I tasted! Omg rose flavor is just not for me. It tasted like soap to me. Like perfume and soap. Never again! I will try something else next time. Don't get rose flavor unless you're really a fan of rose! Fair warning! They have games and claw machines there. And they also sell little Knick knacks and mugs. Super cute store with helpful and friendly staff. They even have some arcade games and table top games to play. Didn't have to wait too long for ice cream and taiyaki. It did melt quickly but was very good. I had the strawberry matcha with strawberry puree and nutella and my husband had the vanilla with caramel. Taiyaki was a bit too chewy for our taste. They were close to closing time but did not rush us. The location is a but random and there is plenty of parking but the parking seemed tight. Would definitely go again. read more

I've been here a few times now and I've always had a great experience. The young people working here are really patient and kind. They've helped me pick out different drinks. I usually get a taro. With their help I've tried more of the fruity teas. Each one has been refreshing and delicious. I've also tried the ube, coconut and Nutella taiyaki. They're crispy on the outside and soft delicious when taking a bite. The ube and Nutella were my favorite out of the three. They also have board games and a couple claw machine games. My boys love playing them all. I have yet to try their ice cream so I'll be back soon. read more
Cute new dessert spot with indoor instagram worthy photo ops with great vibes! Nice & cool the moment we stepped inside against the heat in Fresno! Sweet & friendly staff with adequate amount of staff to get the food and drinks in a timely matter after ordering! Tried a variety of taiyakis with fillings of pandan, ube, Nutella, Oreo, custard, and the red bean. The nutella filled was the winner for our family! We loved that one the most. For me, I also liked the pandan and custard! Even though we didn't eat it all right away.. after we brought it home and after air-frying much later.. it was still delicious! The teas was tasty as it was refreshing and wasn't overly sweet! Overall, I would highly recommend this new sweet spot for dessert and drinks! I love it here! I went last Saturday and I've been craving their taiyakis since. It's mochi consistency, lightly sweetened, crispy outer, creamy inner. Came out fast, and it was piping hot. So tasty. On my day off I'm coming back again. It's so good. The tea I got was was super refreshing. The staff were all friendly and service was quick. A must try. Highly recommend. read more

Such a fun spot! Great boba and taiyaki! I love how spacious it is. There's a few tables to sit and talk in or games you can borrow to play with. They also have frozen yogurt! Bathrooms are available and fun music is in the background :) loved the experience and fast service! read more

Everyone was so nice. Service was amazing, promptly greeted and explained the menu (our first time) Super cute decorations around the store, love the whole aesthetic & atmosphere. Everything we got tasted delicious. Our 3 Taitaki's ( 1 filled with custard & Nutella drizzle on top, the other 2 were cream cheese & plain on top). Also got a Taiyaki cone in cup with milk ice cream. Def get napkins & I don't recommend eating it in the car cause I made a mess hahaha read more

I've been telling my 2yo that I would take her to get "fish ice cream" for days now and finally had the opportunity to. Was initially going to go to Nummy Yummy but my cousin in law suggested this place so we decided to go. Party of 4 adults and 4kids. We arrived about 30mins before closing. Upon entry it was really warm. Took a minute to look over the menu since there was alot going on the menu and saw that they had many options and they also sold drinks which was nice. I ordered a soft serve strawberry ice cream taiyaki with sprinkles and my cousin in law had ordered 2 orders of taiyaki with fillings inside. Took a few minutes for our orders to come out since the taiyaki is made to order. Not long after getting our order my 2yo daughter accidentally dropped her taiyaki cone on the table which visibly needed a little bit of a wipe down. We had told the lady taking the orders that she accidentally dropped her cone. Normally, when something like that happens other places would just replace it. It's not like we're trying to get anything free but as providing great customer service. Replacing the cone she dropped wasn't even offered so we ended up paying $2 and ended up waiting for it and by that time soft serve was already eaten. Anyways, the strawberry ice cream was pretty good, loved the themed Halloween sprinkles. The taiyaki we ate by itself had a nice flavor and crunch. They have board games available and a claw machine. read more

We checked out this adorable spot recently. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and someone quickly came over to see if we had any questions. She explained the difference if you get the taiyaki filled with ice cream (the taiyaki is opened mouthed and filled with soft serve. You can also get it filled with Nutella, Oreo, and a few other flavors. I went with a 3-pack - two with Nutella and one with Oreo - and a side of strawberry soft serve. The taiyaki was crispy on the outside and nicely chewy on the inside with the warm filling. I don't usually like Oreo anything but this was so good, I'm pretty sure a whole melty Oreo was stuffed in there I want one right now! read more

My first time here. Its very nice cute very spacious family friendly vibe. Little board games and all. Very accommodating while you wait or dine in. The drink is soo good, green tea strawberry rose was my choice. Subtle sweet. The owners are super wonderful,very attentive. Super nice. No more driving half cross town for boba or snacks. read more

7/17/24 Love Taiyaki!! Getting one gl go eiyj dinned! Arrived! Great music playing upon walking in. The worker was great. Happy to give recommendations! I got the 3 Taiyaki. Nutella, Uber & recommended Pandon. Also with a side of Uber soft serve. Paid for the order, given a number to be called and waited for it to be ready. Took a little bit, but they were busy and thankfully, the worker apologized, handed over with food day wishes! Appreciated! 7/18/24 Saved it in the freezer for dinner today! Still looks Great! So I was invited to partake with my wife and sister in-law and her son to try this new establishment. My wife and sister-in-law already tried this business a few days ago and shared with me that the drinks and sweet dessert were really delicious. I tagged along with them on Sunday, 8/4/24 to check out the location. I'm not too familiar with Tayaki dessert but was definitely open to try it out! Upon arrival to the new business establishment, the design and decor seem chill and inviting. The prices for their fresh tea drinks, and milk tea were reasonable and affordable. Customer service from the two young ladies working in the front, were quick and prompt. Very professional staff and they made it easy to order with popular recommendations from previous customers orders and employee alike. I decided to try their Taro Milk Tea with Boba. I also ordered 3 fish shaped Taiyaki with one Oreo filling and Two Ube Filling. I also tried their Pandan Croffle with a hint of vanilla & coconut shaving & Pandan cream drizzle. Man I have to say, that was probably my favorite Croffle I ever tasted! The Taro Milk Tea was okay.... But I had better from other locations. Just my opinion though. I ended ordering another drink, I somehow ordered a secret menu drink that was very colorful and tasty! Damn!!!, I will definitely order it again versus the Taro Milk Tea. No regrets or complaint with that drink, definitely was very refreshing! For the most part we all had a very pleasant experience from this new establishment . We'll definitely be stopping by again in there near future when we all crave sweets and looking for a spot to get refreshing drinks to cool down from the hot summer in Central Valley. read more

Love, love, love!! The food, the staff, the environment, and the drinks are all 10/10! They just added the tiger coffee to their menu, and it's my new go-to. The croffles are buttery and flakey. It's soooo good when fresh with soft serve ice cream on top and let's not forget about the taiyaki's! Love the different options that they have and how they keep it simple. (Sometimes, too much of a variety can be a little overwhelming). The taiyaki's are made just right; it's soft and warm, with your choice of filling that just melts in your mouth They have the cutest selfie wall on the left side of their shop. The whole aesthetic of the shop is such a vibe. The fact that they're a family owned business just makes it so much more welcoming. Such a wholesome family. read more

Visited this shop and it happened to be their one year anniversary. I got a free stuffed animal super cute. The shop is decorated nice but the taiyaki is not good. The tail was hard and not guey. We ordered 3 drinks and only one was good. The mangonada and Thai tea were watered down. They use like flakey ice in the Thai tea and when you suck on the straw you get small chunks of ice. read more
