Was craving a brownie sundae so I thought I would give those place a try. Overall, the sundae was good but it was a little pricey imo. My husband got a chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone and with both of our ice creams plus a heart-shaped Dubai Chocolate, it was about $30. Not sure if he is the owner but there was a guy serving us and he was really nice and sociable so I give the customer service a 5/5. read more

Super disappointed after doing some searching and finding this place with mention of vegan options; I just recently had gastrointestinal surgery so dairy is out of the question for a while.. I was under the impression that there would be vegan 'choices' here so I made the decision to take the 20min drive...only to find their only vegan option is vanilla and sold by the pint unfortunately I was unable to find an option I'd like other than plain vanilla which really killed the mood for a treat! I wish this was made more clear in their advertising and menu. read more

We stopped in here after having dinner nearby. A friend was curious about their Dubai chocolate. Turns out the bars are $20 and a Sundae with it on top os $22.. I was not so curious about the Dubai yum, but did want to try some ofbtheir ice cream. Stevie was super helpful and let me try the pistachio and the spumoni flavors. The spumoni.. it took me right back to being a kid! I'd not had it in about 40 years!!! But it was exactly what I remembered!!! I had to have a small taste!! I had such a great experience at Cream! The ice cream was delicious, like the perfect amount of creamy and sweet. What really made the visit stand out was the service. Amanda helped us and she was super bubbly, personable, and incredibly patient while we stood there trying to figure out what we wanted. I was so indecisive. 10/2023 Review We rejoiced when this came to town. We loved the CREAM locations in Palo Alto and Walnut Creek. So expected that certain level of consistency. Unfortunately, the first telling sign was the nonexistent customer service. Nonetheless, we got a Mint Chocolate Chip shake. My son liked it, but did not feel positive leaving a place whose only job is to produce happiness. The overall experience rates as a 2.4 out of 5. 2 stars. Very disappointed. read more

Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian. And yes, there's Fugetsu in LA, but I haven't been. Though if you need a reason to visit the Fresno, you can always take the 99 traveling between SoCal and NorCal... If you're interested in AYCEat mochi, staying healthy, working out for free, and have an eye for the art of making mochi, may I suggest asking the owner for an apprenticeship? Subject: Disappointing Experience at CREAM Ice Cream Shop Dear CREAM Management, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent visit to your ice cream shop in Fresno. I had high hopes for a delightful experience but was met with several issues that I believe need to be addressed urgently. First and foremost, the hours of operation at your establishment are quite irregular and inconvenient. Having inconsistent hours, such as closing at different times on different days, makes it challenging for customers to remember when your shop is open. I recommend adopting a uniform schedule, similar to Ampersand Ice Cream, which is open every day from 12 PM to 11 PM. This consistency is much easier to memorize and more accommodating for patrons. My visit occurred around 9 PM. Immediately upon entry, I was overwhelmed by an extremely strong scent of purple Fabuloso cleaner. The odor was so overpowering that I considered leaving, but I decided to stay after seeing the appealing orders of the people in front of me. When it was my turn to order, I asked for a "Cookie Sundae," expecting the same tall cup of ice cream, cookie, whipped cream, and caramel that I had seen earlier. Is that okay?" Confused by his remark, I agreed, only to witness him struggling to scoop the ice cream. I then understood what he meant by flaky, which was quite shocking. I have never encountered flaky ice cream before. After changing my flavor, he handed me the cup without any toppings. According to the description, I was entitled to two toppings, but none were provided. When I asked about the toppings, he responded curtly, "You pick them." Feeling awkward, I chose Oreos and M&M's. Unfortunately, I received only a few faint Oreo crumbs, barely visible, and no M&M's. The total cost of $7.99 for such a sparse and disappointing serving is absurd. The final straw was the cookie itself. Upon taking a bite, I found it to be stale, tasting as if it had been left out for days. Worse, the flavor of Fabuloso permeated the cookie, making it inedible. This experience was utterly appalling and unacceptable for any establishment, let alone one specializing in desserts. Given these issues, I request a complete refund for my purchase. Additionally, I will be forwarding this review to the city health department and the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to investigate this matter further, as the presence of cleaner in food poses a serious health hazard. We had a great experience at Cream in Fresno. The staff was very patient, courteous, and welcoming. The store is bright, well-lit, and inviting, making it a comfortable and family-friendly spot. It is also open until 1 AM, which makes it perfect for late-night dessert cravings. The ice cream was excellent, creamy and smooth, not icy at all, which really speaks to the quality of the ingredients. We sampled a few flavors and chose coffee and chocolate. The coffee with Ferrero Rocher was recommended by the staff, and we absolutely loved it. They offer interesting combinations of ice creams and toppings, including customized options, and you can choose between a cup, cone, or ice cream sandwiches.
