    Strawberry bingsu pic

4.5 so rounded my rating to 5. Just got back from Seoul and wanted to satisfy my bingsu craving . Yelped bingsu in Fresno and found cafe Daldal. This business is located inside a 1 800 Flower store. There are a few tables and the order was quick . We ordered a mango bingsu which was refreshing and reminiscent of our Seoul trip . It's not the same as Subling in Seoul and thus the 4.5 rating but it was very good . The staff is nice but the menu is limited . Mango bingsu is the best flavor . For a taste of Korea check this place out !

Perfect spot for a sweet treat! Located inside a flower shop, you'll find this bingsu cafe! You order at the counter then only have to wait a few minutes for yummy dessert. The inside is pretty clean and there's a number of tables! Got the golden injeolmi bingsu and it was so yummy. 1000% would get it again.

This was such a yummy place to come to get dessert. This dessert place is located inside of a flower shop so you can also order some bouquets as well ! We got the injeolmi shaved milk and the strawberry cream croffle to share . The injeolmi shaved milk was A plus !! The injeolmi powder tasted so delicious and nutty with the shaved ice and red bean . I really enjoyed this combination of shaved milk . It was also sweet enough I didn't even add any condensed milk till the very end . The strawberry croffle is served cold but it is crispy and sweet and the fresh cream was delish . I can't wait to come back and try the other shaved milks , this place will be great in the summer when it is super hot outside !

Cafe daldal is so cute!! Inside is spacious and there's a decent amount of seating. Service is okay, seems like nice ppl. The bingsoo is so yum! I've had a variety of the flavors they have, and all have been pretty good. My favorite is the strawberry. Wish there were more cheese cake bits but that's just my big back self speaking. No complaints here! One bowl can feed up to 2-3 people! Good stuff

When I heard that there is bingsoo here in Fresno, I knew I had to try it. It came out pretty quickly, took about 10-15 minutes and we were the only one there at the time. It is unlike places in LA or SJ where they put the condensed milk and toppings on the side. I do prefer it that way because I found that it was way tooo sweet especially in addition to the syrup. It felt drenched in sugar and even my sweet tooth sister struggled eat this. This place is located in a flower shop and there were a couple of tables.

Came with my bestie and it did not disappoint! Who would have guessed that a flower shop would have shaved snow? Even though there is not a lot of seating, the shaved snow was so light and refreshing. I got the mango and my friend got the melon. The mango had cheesecake bites that were so creamy and dreamy with the mango snow and ice cream. While the melon was more on the mellow side with flavor and sweetness, but super refreshing. There was also so much that we ended up just taking home the rest.

YUM. I'm so glad we're finally getting a bingsu spot on this side of town. It's so delicious! Sweet and creamy and still so light not heavy at all. We got the strawberry breeze (vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries, cheese cake bites) this was a hit with my bf. He was surprised? I don't think he was expecting much. I got the melon harmony. The melons were surprisingly sweet, considering they're not in season. The fruits were all fresh. The ice cream topping seems very high quality. The shaved ice part was light , fluffy, creamy/milky. Not your typical American style shaved ice (crunchy). I also got the dalgona cream, croffle with cream and dalgona bits. Still tasty. I loveeeee the dalgona bits. Adds a nice texture. I do have to say that the cream on this is quite sweet. If you love sweet things, you'd like this. But if you're into mildly sweet things maybe skip this. The owner is sweet. You can definitely see the love and care she puts into her bingsu. Aesthetically pleasing and tasty. She also offered extra condensed milk if we needed any extra. But no need, it was perfect. I highly recommend you try this spot. We usually go to Sonic for a sweet treat but this opened up right across the street. We'll definitely be coming here more. ‼they don't have a store sign, it's located inside the flower shop (they do have pics of their menu outside so you won't miss it)‼

Went to Fresno on an errand. Saw that this place offered my favorite dessert, bingsoo. I walked right past because I was looking at the building signage. This place is inside Conroy's Flowers. There is limited seating space. I ordered their Mango Bingsoo in a small. Dessert came out timely and looked good. Taste was good but not special. Mango tasted ripe and flavorful. Staff was efficient. Only inside seating and, as mentioned, they share space with flower shop.

It wasn't necessarily bad, but it didn't blow mind. A bit pricy for what you get. The chocolate delight was tasty! But I do wish the shaved ice was chocolate flavor, not plain! Make sure to mix in your toppings before you eat! The croffle was... okay. Definitely overcooked. The knife was unable to cut into it. The flavor was great, but the amount for the price wasn't it.

Chocolate Delight Strawberry Breeze Both are smalls but they're HUGE

First, this place is hard to find because they don't have a Cafe Daldal sign outside, but, it's right near Red Robin in the flower place. You're welcome! ;) Very pleasant inside & pretty w/all the floral arrangements, but might be an issue for ppl w/floral allergies. TBH, I think the chairs are wildly uncomfortable, but that's probably just me. Service was perfectly fine & pleasant. ORDER: Chocolate Bingsu & Strawberry Bingsu. Both were smalls, but they're HUGE. If you're w/someone, you can easily share 1 small. Can't imagine how big a large is (likely family shareable I'd guess). BTW, they actually use fresh strawberries, very nice touch, loved it. Both were tasty & would be amazing on a hot Fresno summer day. Give this a whirl. You won't be disappointed, but be prepared because you'll probably get brain freeze! :)

For starters, idk why this place isn't packed. The service here is great, the dessert is even BETTER! So delicious! The fruits they use to top off the shaved ice is fresh and sweet. These were I believe around 11$ each (the small being 9$). Inside is also a flower shop. So cutesy!

Cafe Daldal is a unique cafe...when you step through the entrance you're greeted with plants, flowers, tables and chairs. You guessed it, it's part cafe and part flower shop. We were helped right away. We ordered the melon, strawberry and mango bingsu. Each one was sooo good! Surprisingly out of the three, I liked the melon the most. Ya gotta try it out! Ps- didn't get a pic of the melon one but it's soo good.

The insulated bag it comes in. Velcro closed. Nice.
    Mary T.

You can easily pass up this place since they don't have a huge sign on the top front of the building. Instead you will see the 1800flowers lol.. just below it on the doors you will then see the name of the cafe. We missed it the first time even following the directions lol. Still wasn't too much of a big deal for me cus all I cared about was what's inside!! I love this type of shaved ice cus it's so shaved down it literally feels like your eating snow except with added flavor and toppings. The shaved ice turns really soft and soaks in whatever flavor you choose. It's really good. And especially on a hot day too. I read someone's review earlier and they said bingsu is shaved ice but it's milk shaved ice. No wonder why it's more creamy. At the counter I was confused cus someone came in about flower delivery. So my guess is that it's still a flower shop but they also have this inside of it so it's two businesses in one?? The girl that took my order wasn't really smiling much. She gave me a more "hurry up and buy" look. I went with the small chocolate for my son and I got the small strawberry cheesecake. I absolutely love the fact their to go bags are insulated!! They even throw in a mini ice pack to keep the bingsu from melting fast. Loved the presentation. They put the condensed milk in a little to go thing so u can put however much you want. Even the chocolate syrups and strawberry sauce too. The bingsu also has a scoop of ice cream on top. I couldn't even wait. I ended up trying it in the car. The smalls are pretty big!! I'm not mad at that at all!! My son couldn't even finish his. He only ate half and I finished the rest. I shared the strawberry one with my bf. We loved both flavors equally. I wish the strawberry one had more cheesecake pieces tho NGL. I will be back cus I wanna try the mango one!! It looks soooo good!

This review is long overdue, but Nummy Yummy deserves high praise and recognition for is deliverance to excellent and tasty dessert for the Fresno community. We went here again just a few days ago and it still hits the spot. The menu typically rotates ice cream flavor every month. Not only ice cream, but they also have warm taiyaki! This place reminds me of SomiSomi chain, but to be honest, I think Nummy Yummy is better. All of the staff here are super nice, patient, and always willing to answer your questions. I've come here a lot and have yet to come across a grumpy staff member (haha). The location is in the corner of the RN Market plaza. There is plenty of parking, but I wish they hadn't taken away the indoor seating. There is nowhere to dine in and sit other than the dirty bench outside. I see the majority of people just eating in their car. I hope they decide to offer more flavors and toppings. The various Asian flavors are a hit, and a suggestion box from the public could be an idea. Also, not sure if the eye is playing tricks, but seems like their new cups provide a smaller portion than the old cups. Hopefully that is not the case.

We were in town the morning after seeing the Firefail. Finally success on the third visit attempt. Amongst other shops on the desolate street stood an unremarkable window front where the repeat button has remained on since the 60s. Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian. And yes, there's Fugetsu in LA, but I haven't been. Though if you need a reason to visit the Fresno, you can always take the 99 traveling between SoCal and NorCal... Just need to be early if much is desired. If you're interested in AYCEat mochi, staying healthy, working out for free, and have an eye for the art of making mochi, may I suggest asking the owner for an apprenticeship? The owner's mentioned on articles that there's no one to take over and you don't become a master overnight.

I decided to try two flavors since I was only passing through and couldn't easily come back to try it again. I got two of their monthly flavors, the sweet corn and the treasure chest. The sweet corn lacked flavor, you can only get a hint of it. There were a few corn pieces mixed in, but they were few and far between, plus they didn't have a strong corn flavor either. I loved the concept but execution was disappointing. The treasure chest was very good, though I personally wished there was a more even ratio of brown butter cookie to brownie. I can't recall if I even got any brownie pieces. Flavor was excellent otherwise. The other complaint that I have is that the scoop is small. As you can see from my photo, my two scoops looked like 1 scoop. Not worth the price. I know competitors like Han**ls, where I'm a regular at, have given bigger scoops. All in all, still a great quality ice cream.
