Party of 3 for dinner which is fairly new for this establishment and they definitely need some work. We were the first to arrive at 6pm to dinner service and they were not prepared for us. There was no server, only a busser that was too young to serve cocktails so we had to wait for someone to return to the restaurant for adult beverages. We ordered 3 steak dinner meals and all of the meats were not prepared as requested. All either over or under cooked. The baked potatoes were very very over done. 2 meals were sent back and unfortunately even once they came back the temps were still off and not medium well as requested. We were also given the same old baked potatoes with toppings that were not correct. The place has so much potential but they will definitely need to work out the kinks to satisfy customers adequately moving forward. Came here for a friend's birthday and there were some highs and lows. My friend and I ordered bottomless mimosas while our other friend ordered a single mimosa. It took over 15min for any of our drinks to come out after ordering. It also took over 45min for us to receive our food which was surprising because there were only 3 tables of customers in the restaurant. The inside was very cold, so I couldn't take off my jacket at all. The server was kind but she was not very attentive and was hard to flag down at times. My sister-in-law found this place on Instagram that she wanted to try. The manager noticed me looking at my glass and attempting to wipe it clean. He politely walked over and offered me a new glass. I noticed that he was away for a very long time. When I looked over to see him checking every glass in the kitchen he would not stop until he found a suitable glass for me to drink from which I really appreciated him being discreet about the situation because I did not want to draw attention the manager even gave us free drinks to make up for the mishap one thing that I really do appreciate about this particular restaurant they had stands to hold your purse ladies how cool is that a restaurant to catered to us and our purses the food was awesome. I had a steak and potato breakfast with fried egg. My steak and my eggs were cooked to perfection did not disappoint one bit. The steak was so big it was big enough to feed two adults I could not eat all of that by myself. The portions were a good size that I had to get a to go box because I filled up pretty quickly. The food was so good. My eyes were bigger than my stomach that day. I guess that's a good thing my favorite part of having brunch there was the fact that I can customize my French toast to my liking the food. Cecilia took such great care of us during a birthday brunch! We were a bit late on our reservation but they were accommodating and didn't make us feel bad for it. Breakfast was great, everyone was so happy with their food. Eggs are so hard to get right in busy restaurants they can be easily over/undercooked and everyone's came out great! My biscuits were so soft and fluffy under the gravy definitely recommend. Always a great time at Aromas. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Lizzie the host. She had an amazing energy too her! Though they had a little bit of a wait she made sure to communicate with us and got us seated ASAP We were seated in Hectors section. He was very friendly and provided us great service the entire time. He made sure we had everything needed and kept the bottomless mimosas coming. The manager Maria came up to check on us! I really wanted to like this place, but my experience was awful. The avocado toast tasted like it was made with a cheap packaged spread--nothing fresh about it. For the price they charge, I expected real avocado, not something that looked and tasted processed. On top of that, I was charged an outrageous amount for a coffee drink that didn't even come as described on the menu. It was supposed to have vanilla cold foam, but it arrived with nothing on top. The restaurant didn't appear very clean--the floors had debris and had not been mopped, and several tables, including ours, were dirty. Service was also lacking. We had to get up and find our own silverware, never received the coffee we ordered, and our server didn't come by to check on us during the meal. Given the little foot traffic, we were able to easily park along the street. Despite the lack of customers, our food took nearly 45 minutes to come out. The service was similarly limited but friendly. A positive was their vast and affordable list of cocktails. Every beverage was $12 or less. *Mojito: I didn't taste any of the strawberry listed on the menu but it was refreshing. The glass was surprisingly big but it wasn't very strong. *Eggs Benedict Chorizo: the chorizo was well seasoned and tender. The eggs were perfectly gooey and the hollandaise was rich and creamy. The roasted potatoes were salty and crispy. Overall, one of the better renditions I've tried. *Ribeye Steak and Eggs: steak was supposed to be medium rare but it arrived well done. However, we waited so long for the food that we didn't feel like sending it back. The steak was also bland. The hash browns were nicely crispy. The eggs could have benefited from a crispier edge. While the Benedict was tasty, the steak was poorly executed. I can see cocktails bowls being a fun treat for larger groups but the 45 minute wait was hard to swallow--especially when we were the only table. This was my first time eating at Aromas. This was a lunch visit, and I think I made a mistake by ordering lunch food, as this seems to be more of a breakfast place. Unfortunately, my chicken wrap was inedible. The chicken was dry, and it was clearly just frozen chicken strips cut up. There was almost no sauce in the wrap. The tortilla it was wrapped in was basic. There were little crunchy things in the wrap that had an odd taste. Had the Sunday brunch here, which is a pretty good AYCE deal. Garlic mash, tri-tip w gravy, ribs in red sauce, custom omelette and fresh fruits are excellent. The bread items (empanadas, waffle, French toast) are more of a gamble with getting them hot, but you can fill up on plenty of other food. They serve Peet's coffee, which is good.
