Sweetness levels in recipes are not consistent. I've had 100% sweetness that is not sweet enough and 100% sweetness that is sickening sweet like today. All 4 of my drinks were nastily sweet, including the 75% sweetness tea. The inconsistency is disappointing, since I like their boba texture. read more

The design of the place is a bit chaotic. There's writing all over the walls from customers but it's a bit sloppy in my opinion. Very red and black. Maybe it's not my style. Boba was okay. We like to drop in and grab boba when we're in town There is a completely different feel to this place now as well as a few changes to the interior. They also added a few new food items as well as some new drinks. I got the Strawberry Cheesecake & it's pretty damn good!!!!! We got to meet with the new owner and you can tell that his goal is to give their customers the service you would expect to receive at any establishment & the staff are also really nice and helpful. Pop in and grab a new drink item as well as some PUB CORN CHICKEN, play some video games and maybe sing some karaoke if you're brave enough. This will continue to be one of my favorite boba spot. I loved Boba Pub 2 in Clovis. It was awesome - staff knew their stuff - extra helpful for peeps like me who want to ask a million questions and make strange concoctions. The egg foam is so good / the boba is also so good / I loved all of it. The owner came out and talked to us - super cool dude. Told us about all the work they put into making a quality boba - I ate it up - literally. The shop is fun too - they have an awesome 4 screen display and a Nintendo switch. There was also karaoke - maybe the only time I have seen a karaoke machine when I didn't sing / I will next time for sure / honestly I got distracted playing Street Fighter. My friend and I came here on a week night and found ourselves one of the few tables here. But I think this place is not very study or even sitting friendly. There's not many tables here and then there are no restrooms for even customers. Then, there's this random coat rack or some sort of rack just in the middle of the room that I find to be more of a hazard than anything. As for the drinks... they are not really attentive to detail as they made my friend the wrong drink. I also ordered a guava and strawberry drink; one of the top drinks, but found that I couldn't actually taste the flavor - it just tasted of sugar to me. Was craving some boba and wanted to try a new place. With the high ratings my husband and I decided to give this place a try. The atmosphere was little different here compared to most milk tea/ boba places I've been too. The walls were covered in writing and the mountains of cups stacked in the front was alittle eye sore. The places had a lingering cigarette smoke smell. I was greeted as I entered. All I wanted was to satisfy my taro boba craving. So I got just that in a slush/ smoothie form. My husband ordered the purp drink 75% sweet. These are pretty good sized drinks. My drinks taro flavor was all there it was good, the boba inside was inconsistent. It was initially warm and some were fresh and hot while there were a few that were hard. The purp drink was okay I tasted like a flat soda, almost like a cool aid we didn't really care for it. How about getting them from a Boba Pub with virtually no lines, like this newly opened location in Clovis. Located in a nearly barren strip mall off of Shaw and Peach Avenues. It is only a matter of time before loyal patrons and fans of the boba tea find out about this new location. In the meantime, I am liking the much shorter lines and wait times. Unfortunately the crew here seem to have the same problem of not paying attention to the online orders that come in which the Cedar Avenue location is notoriously known for. As frustrating as this is, at least you do not have to wait too long once they start preparing your order. BEST BETS: Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Thai Milk Tea, Horchata, Mozzarella Dog, Blue Raspberry Lemonade, Matcha Love, Churros Boba Pub also delivers but it is not worth paying the high service fees and taxes. 3.5 stars for me. read more

The dude and I came to Boba Pub 2.0 on 11/30/21 after a long day of shopping with the dude. I've been on a Boba kick Mostly craving Matcha Fused with Rose. Two of my favorite flavors that's suitable for the Princess Of Yelp! Anywho, we arrived around 4pm and was greeted. It was empty inside but a lot of pick up orders. The inside is pretty worn - mostly the flooring was clipped just looked pretty beaten down. However, the furniture looked nice and the games they had along with it. I don't know how much traffic they get but must be a lot !!! I am so happy Clovis finally has Boba place less than 5 minutes From my residence as the dude didn't believe there was a location nearby until we arrived. It smelled good inside. They have plentiful of menu items to choose from like drinks, boba, smoothies and to snacks. I didn't want a snack as the drink itself is filling so the dude got a Taro Smoothie with boba (I rated it 6/10 and he rated it 7/10). To me it needed more Taro flavor it was watery in flavor if that makes sense. But he enjoyed it. I ended up getting the Matcha Rose with boba SO FRIKKIN delicious 8/10 I think I rated it but it was a little too sweet for my liking. I don't like sweet drinks more like tart or bitter. So I will ask if I can customize the sweetness. The dude got the pot stickers - Not for me. I didn't like them at all and he also got the Cajun fries which were good but would have been better if they were crunchy. They weren't the best but not terrible like in the middle. The staff was very friendly and eager to work on orders as once I verbally said mine the staff immediately got to working on it. Service was quick and fast. Love this place. Location is in Clovis YAY! I would like to check out more of their Matcha drinks and other food items. I am looking forward to coming back. I wish they have a rewards program though. Also, they stay open until midnight so those nights when I was craving boba but every place is closed I could have been coming here!! I would recommend ! Come give them a try :D it's fun and tasty!! Wish we were closer. We visited Clovis over the weekend and decided to stop by. On Saturday we ordered two drinks. A strawberry short cake and a Blue dream with strawberry jelly. These two drinks were absolutely delicious. The strawberry short cake was a bit too sweet for my liking, but my son loved it. Friendly staff and they were happy to answer all the questions we had. On Sunday, we had to stop by and try some other drinks we were curious about. We walked away with 5 drinks ( for 2 people). I had to order the Blue dream again, a fan Favorite which was the Tiramisu (2 of these), mangoniada with Chamoy (so refreshing and delicious) and the Bluey (Louie's favorite drink). I strongly suggest you try that one... oh and if you find yourself being a bit hungry, try their egg rolls with that delicious sauce dip (so much flavor in a tiny cup). Definitely became one of our favorite boba place's we've visited and cant wait to come back. Also, it was nice to just sit down, enjoy your drink and play video games for a bit. Downtown city and college vibes here. Not a bad thing, but obviously may not be everyone's cup of tea. I love that this shop exists as it offers something more than just another boba shop with cute plants and white walls with wooden accents, which in my opinion is super overdone in Fresno/Clovis without many of them having anything really special to them (I.e actually unique menu items or shop vibes). This place feels different and that's a big part of the appeal to having it here. With that being said, appeal only goes so far. We got two pretty standard drinks: Thai tea (smoothie) and jasmine milk tea. The Thai was sweet and had a flavor and that's about it. I'm guessing it's powdered. The jasmine milk tea tasted and looked watered down. I enjoy the floral of jasmine tea which just wasn't there. Don't get me wrong, they weren't unbearable, it just didn't meet the standard I expect at boba tea shops, but also didn't meet my expectations for this shop. It feels hole in the wall when you walk in, but then severely disappointed with the quality that doesn't match. The workers were friendly, answered all our questions, and made our drinks quickly. Lately I have been in different Bobba places and now I kind of know what is good and what is great. This place have great hours for late night snacks. They are open until 11 on Fridays. We were out of the movies and we wanted something to drink and to our luck and the help of Yelp we found this place. To our surprise they have more than just drinks. They have hot Cheetos corn in a cup. They have nachos, hot dogs and more. We were not ready for that so we didn't order any of that. I am already thinking when we will go back to try something from the muchies side. Se we ordered our regular passion fruit with green tea and leeche bits. My daughter got a new flavor She got the blueberry butterfly slushy. She really liked it. They had tables to seat and wait for your drink with great pumping music. I like boba drinks. I have to be careful, because I don't like them too sweet. This location by Fresno State has a relaxed college atmosphere. There's usually a couple of staff working who were accommodating to me, as I'd forgotten to order my drink with less sugar. My kid got an electric butterfly. I think it was an energy drink with a couple of different flavor shots. The flavor shots are colored which makes the "butterfly" look in the cup. I may be basic, but my favorite is the taro milk tea. I like extra traditional boba, about 25% sweet. There are many different drink options and a bunch of topping options. I probably won't try too many, mostly because I come to satisfy a fairly specific craving. It's a cool little spot. read more
