    Honey rose lavender latte
    Daisee F.

I've tried this cafe a couple times within the last week and really enjoyed it! I tried their seasonal honey rose lavender latte and an iced vanilla latte. The honey rose lavender latte was very good! They add dried rose too so presentation is also really pretty. The vanilla latte was just okay. Baristas were nice and the decor inside has a cool vibe.

The drinks were good. The service was mid (barista's attitude was rude-ish bc we asked for a side of creamer, the person who took our order was nice). I got a pour over coffee which are meant to be enjoyed black (was yummy) but they didn't specify how many ounces it would be and I ended up with a half empty cup. So, bummer, but the taste was good nonetheless.

The Alchemist is a wonderful coffee shop right on the edge of tower. They offer amazing seasonal drinks unique to any other coffee shop in town. Prices are a little above average but worth it. Various pastries from danishes to cinnnamon rolls. There are plenty of seating options whether its outside on a nice day or a window seat to see the passebys. Service is always fast and friendly with a smile.

The last time I was here it was for a Yelp event and it's been way overdue! First off, I've always loved this place and the vibe upon walking in. I ordered from their Spring menu, I opted for the Honey Cardamom Date Latte (say that fast 5x) it was honestly VERY good and just the perfect amount of sweetness from the honey and the dates. I also won a free latte from their sticker machine which was a nice touch! Can't wait to go back and try their rose latte!

Rise a shine and the turkey Bagel was on point and had to have a good ol bagel and cream. O did I mention some avocado toast with a vinaigrette drizzle delicious. And to wash it down with a cup of Americano Decaf and a the wife had a Mocha. The Service is exceptional, helpful and brings your order to you with a smile as always. The vibe of the place is relaxing a great place to start your day. People enjoying their coffees and food while visiting with friends or by themselves just enjoying themselves in a nice environment. I will definitely be back. SYOYCFN

Matcha latte. Sugar free vanilla + almond milk.

So far I've been twice and the drinks aren't doing it for me, unfortunately. I'm sure there is something on the menu I will enjoy so I will for sure come back. I have always been a fan of the space - it is cozy and welcoming albeit, small. I wouldn't recommend coming with a large study group or friends group but a solo coffee date or one on one meeting would suffice. The baristas are knowledgeable and kind. My first visit I ordered a black hot coffee. It tasted diluted and bitter. This recent visit I got a hot matcha latte with sugar free vanilla and almond milk. It was OK, but I've had much better. This one yielded a bitter aftertaste similar to the back coffee. I like the fact that they do not charge extra for milk substitutes! I also noted that they offer bites as well and I am a fan of avocado and hummus toast. So I will be back soon to try other items.

Iced Vanilla decaf latte with oatmilk

I have been coming to Alchemist Coffee for at least a couple of years. I decided to go yesterday after an intense yoga class. I felt I earned it lol. I love the taste of their lattes, the taste of the coffee comes through, it's never too sweet and is always the right consistency. They have their recipe down! I ordered a decaf vanilla latte iced with oat milk. They charge extra for milk substitutes. They also have tea and baked good, food. There is plenty of room to sit, I love going there to catch up with friends! The staff is always nice and helpful! Of course I will be back.

First time here after Sis and I stopped at several coffee spots. Let me just say, these ladies were ALL PLEASANTLY amazing; Megan started it off with her patience with us first timers and made wonderful suggestions, my cappuccino was BOMB and Sis who typically only gets a cup of dark roast or a pour over wherever we go, absolutely LOVED her latte. Bug made our drinks and seemed equally satisfied that we were totally pleased. She also made suggestions for our return trip and then Amber, she assisted Sis with her bag to go and gave her some tips. I would most definitely return to this spot. Relaxed atmosphere and the staff is truly a 10/10. It's truly not just coffee here, Megan said, "we respect the bean" and yes they do! Heads up, you MUST check out the 10 commandments prior to leaving.

Such a small and adorable cafe that serves very delicious coffee! May have to come early if you want seats since there's not much and people study in there! I wish their menu had more, but the staff are always willing to help you decide on a drink! We've tried their seasonal drinks for October and November, all were very creamy and yummy! Will definitely visit again if we're in the area!

I love trying different non-chain coffee spots. I stopped by the Alchemist Coffee Lab recently to meet up with a friend. Street parking may be tough, but there's a nearby lot that had spots available. The cafe has sparse but sufficient seating which actually is a plus. Some locations really crowd in the tables, but here, there is a luxury of space between tables, giving you the opportunity to be part of the room but also have that intimate conversation or alone space if that is what you need. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The baristas were welcoming and informative. As a newbie to the location with some dietary restrictions, they helped me customize a drink that was exactly right for me. They offered me the option of blonde or regular espresso shots. I know blonde roast is something that's been around for a while, but I've never tried it. And apparently, it has a higher caffeine content than standard/dark roast espresso. The iced espresso drink was delicious. I could taste the hints of caramel from the blonde roast. I also ordered their iced tea, which was strong and balanced. While this location is a bit out of the way for me, I'm really glad I had the chance to try it. If I'm in the area, I will definitely take the time to say hi and get my caffeine fix.

ICED MATCHA LATTE - VANILLA (12OZ @ 6.64) :: This location mainly focus on coffee and basic brews. The regular iced matcha latte is just plain with no sugar. I had to add 1 shot of vanilla syrup for $0.65. Honestly, the matcha is very diluted. It taste like home made. The matcha does not taste rich or smooth at all. RATE : 2/5 SERVICE : Fast and friendly service. This location gets pack during the day, though their service are quick at taking orders and getting out orders. They did great on letting me know that the iced matcha will taste bland/no sugar and ask if I wanted to add any sugar. Or else I wouldn't know. RATE : 5/5 AMBIANCE : Nice warm rustic interior design. They have lots of seating inside and out. It's nice and clean in there. Guest clean up after their selves. They also have merch for sale; such as hats, coffee, hand brew glass kettle etc. Parking lot is a bit difficult during peak hours. There is a little shared parking lot a few steps away but it does get pack sometime. The other parking option is on the side walk. This location is in a one way direction so parking spot could be a bit difficult. OVERALL : Cute little place for coffee and a quick grab. Parking is a little difficult to find during busy hour. I recommend this place to people who are looking for dark espresso and strong coffee.

    Chai Latte
    Nikita K.

Both the coffee and pastries were mediocre; however, the service was great. I ordered a chai latte, an almond croissant, and also tried a cappuccino. The chai latte and croissant were both overly sweet and tasted somewhat cheap, lacking an authentic or homemade feel. The cappuccino, unfortunately, was sour and didn't have the bold, rich flavor I was hoping for. The outdoor ambiance also wasn't ideal--the seating was tilted due to the hill, and the tables were right next to a busy road with a lot of passing cars.

The best part of it was the Tapatio packet that came with it. Far from a traditional breakfast burrito. I can see where the idea was going, but execution was off considering the lack of salt, maybe a stronger cheese, or something. The crème fraiche sauce also left me wanting. It didn't feel like a sauce that was thoughtfully added to the dish. Honestly, it felt like poorly executed white people knock-off. I understand they are premade and they don't have the ability to make the burritos fresh, but it's possible to make some really delicious premade burritos. I guess I'll stick with the pros when it comes to breakfast burritos.

The parking is ample as there is a lot right next to the building where Ty's located and an even bigger parking lot across the street. I was a bit distracted on my phone while ordering so my biggest apologies if I didn't look engaged. The guys taking my order was patient and very nice though. I ended up ordering a cold brew and a cherry danish. Wow, the danish was very good, I'd go there again for when I am craving a coffee and danish. My one thing is the fact that the cold brew was pretty sour, which I know is dependent on the form in which the cold brew is made. As a person that loves cold brew I like tasting the bites but it was over-powered by the acidity which I just asked for a side of milk to neutralize it. My friends ordered a lavender latte which I got to try and it tasted amazing, great balance of lavender, not too perfume-y great floral taste. I am definitely coming here again:)
