Came in on a random Friday around lunch time. This place's packedddd. Line out the door. Took roughly 15-20 mins to get seated and about 10-15 mins to order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It looks really clean inside, tons of tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have a ton of staff working, so everything is quick paced. Y'all I love when places have pictures of their menu items. I'm such a visual person. Food was good, nothing over the top wow. Just like your basic Vietnamese restaurant. Banh beo: nice and soft, good texture. the dipping sauce was good. They don't do the dried shrimp and shallots like other places but this was good too. Kind of plain but The sauce makes up for the flavor. (4/5) Banh xeo: crispy. Super fresh. Again, kind of lacking in flavor but the sauce makes up for it. They use the same sauce was the banh beo. Some people like it coocnuty but me personally it was a tad bit too much. But they give a large portion of veggies to wrap your banh xeo in, that's really good. I hate when places skimp out on things like that, or when they only give lettuce. They gave fish mint, mint, cucumbers, basil. (3.5/5) Bun Bo hue: flavor of the broth is good, could use a tad bit more salt but the condiments at the table help a lot. But in all honesty, this felt more like pho than bun Bo hue. Like they took pho broth and just added bbh sauce. Which isn't bad but that's not what I wanted. (3.5/5) Overall it was decent. Nothing very wow but it wasn't bad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service and ambiance is great. The staff was very attentive and friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But... The food is subpar. The pho broth was very underwhelming. I came here with my mom and we orders the Pho Tai, Vermicelli with grilled pork and egg roll, and the Bun Xeo (small rice plates). The best things was just the Bun Xeo, the fish sauce was good with it but I'd give that a 3.5 out of 5. The pho broth definitely tasted like instant broth and didn't seem to have been with the beef bones long enough. The noodles for the vermicelli dish seemed like cheap(er) noodles or wasn't cooked well. Please note this was their first month or so. So they have time to grow and change. I may come back to try again after some time read more

I thought the Pho here was just okay. There wasn't really anything special about the flavor, and the broth was a bit bland for my taste. That said, they definitely don't skimp on the portions! The large bowl was way too big in my opinion--the small bowl is probably the perfect size if you want to avoid a food coma. The service is quick, and I really love their bun bo hue soup. My husband rates the pho at about 7 out of 10. The steamed rice cakes are delicious and they're perfect for sharing or can be enjoyed solo as a complete dish. I have to decrease the stars because I'm not sure what happened here but service has taken a nose dive. Last time I had to ask 4 times for my soda and dipping sauce. I had to ask 3 times for a to go box. Never received anything so I had to take the liberty of going up to the counter and ask for my items because I was tired of waiting. I know there are bad days so I went back again. Completely different staff. Clueless of the menu and not friendly at all, messed up the order and took forever to fix the mistake. I did hear the owner yelling in the kitchen lol. She did at least apologize. The food is good but all these other factors deter me from coming back. They need to work on better training of their staff and executing orders properly and correctly. Also train them to smile and be more welcoming. read more

Cons - we had a party of 5, the menu didn't say anything about gratuity, but on the receipt it said party of 6 or more they charged 10%. They charged my party the 10% when we had 5. My sister tipped $20 without knowing. After getting home we saw they charged us when we only had a party of 5. We called and asked for that 10% charge back. Imagine they are doing this to other people who don't read English or don't know English. Tried a pho place near the convention center, and was pleasantly surprised. Not sure why the score is so low, but they have great portions and good quality meats. 3 stars just because the service and server were extremely slow. They usually work so much better than that. It could be that it was near closing time, and a few customers came in to dine or have take out such as myself, but also...that should not cause so much time. Well anyways I usually have pho and one of their specialty drinks and or their egg rolls and the chowfun. Their spring roll isn't as good as my homemade one of course but it is pretty thick and filled with so much fillings, it is a bit much for me. Customer service was very disappointing. The bathroom was dirty, and I even found hair in my bánh mì sandwich. The noodles lacked flavor compared to other similar spots in Fresno. I went during their soft opening. They didn't open at 9am as stated on their flyer. They opened after 11am and there were people lining up. I order 2 sandwiches to go and it took over 30 min. I do not recommend it. The menu says the large combo bowl of pho comes with rib, brisket, tendon, meatball, and rare steak, but all we got in our bowl of pho was rare steak and just pho. The pho wasn't good at all. It was our first time, and last time. They also had bad customer service. read more

Service was really bad! Should have walked out instead of eating because the service got worse and worse. Came in and there's no sign to seat yourself or wait so we had to go to the front to ask. They took forever to take our order and took someone else's order who came after us. Didn't give us any water. We had to ask for it. They took forever on our food too. When they brought out the veggies for the pho, we got a moldy jalapeño. When they gave us soup spoon one of the soup spoon still had the price tag partly taped to it. Then to top it off, they mess up on the order my man and I ordered. I ordered a medium pho 559 and my man ordered a large beef combo. They switch it. It's such a bummer because the pho sizes are big but with poor service and being served moldy veggies, I will not come back. So just be aware. Food is always great but today, my husband and I walked in and no greeting (not that it matters) but the female server that wears glasses saw us and didnt acknowledge we were there at all. We sat down and she passed us 3x and did not offer to take our order or give us menus. We dont come too often so we haven't memorized their menu yet. After waiting close to 10 mins, we were ready to leave when a male employee asked if we have ordered yet. We were already upset and this point and just left. Please teach that female employee with the glasses to be more friendly. Walking around like she can't see when she has glasses on and acting like she hates her job. read more

I ordered spring rolls and the beef pho combo thru door dash. Pros: Everything packaged nicely. The meat was cooked perfectly wonderful and tender. Rolls were wrapped neatly. Enjoyed the side of hoisin, chili sauce, sprouts, lime and basil. It tasted better the next day. Cons: Both dishes had a very overwhelming taste of five spice. Kind of killed my taste buds. I wish I could taste your broth without it. Didn't enjoy the peanut dipping sauce. Ha ,ha whipped up my own. Lettuce in spring roll was shredded and made it very hard to eat. Messy. read more

Highly recommend for anyone looking for big portioned pho. Had so much food just with a medium size, I found myself looking over at other tables with the large and couldn't believe how huge it was! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a great spot for the winter, service could be more outgoing and the setting was generally quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Pho itself was very flavorful with a rich broth and the combination of meat was a great edition onto the rice noodles. Hands down the largest pho ever offered and becoming a favorite place. This large soups is like 64oz--it's massive but the spices are very good. Not too salty especially when you put in all the side veggies in. Great cardamom and anise flavor coming through. Very hearty and well done! A nice little while, clean, air conditioned and family run. Haven't tried other items on the menu but the pho was definitely incredible! FYI the Hue style spicy beef soup is made with blood. Some folks are not into that. Just be aware of it as the ingredients are not listed on the menu and it cannot be altered. Super rude. The lady is nice but not the big guy. We came in before closing time 8:50 pm, we kindly asked if they were still serving, the lady kindly said yes but the guy gave us a dirty look. We would've been fine if they were not serving anymore since it is 10 minutes before closing. The lady brought us the menu and the guy brought us the water. With a dirty look he made a comment "just so you guys know we close at 9 next time." Im thinking to myself We know you guys close at 9 that's why we asked if you guys were still serving. So that ruined my appetite. We decided not to eat because now it made me feel like he could do something dirty to our food. I'm not saying he will but I'm saying it made me feel that way. Of course the customer enlightened the staff that they did not removed it and requested that it do be removed immediately. Some were waiting for their boba drinks longer than 20 mins! While they were on their lunch break the cooks in the back are responsible for why this is such a popular place but the staff, not at all if you're looking for some place delicious and have the patience to wait around for your food to come then all power to you but highly do not recommend when you're not feeling well and the weather is beautiful and gloomy. I come here so often because of the FOOD, service, ambiance, friendly people and how we are treated. The pho is like no other. Just plain with no added ingredients, omg so good!! It's definitely my go to always first choice when I want pho. Which is about 3-4x a week. My boyfriend and I always get the chicken pho it's our favorite!! My friend and I came here, she's vegan also, and we ordered the vegetable spring rolls w peanut sauce, vegetable pad Thai (not on the menu but they made it vegan for her), and orange chicken with chow mein(#5) with a iced Thai tea to top it all off! The spring rolls were to die for with the peanut sauce- we added peanuts and chili oil that they have on the table along with plenty of additions! My orange chicken and chow mein were as I described, how you'd expect the yummy food you see on tv to taste, so so perfect. The Thai tea was seriously the best I've had in town in a long time, it's as sweet as I like itttt and only $5 so I'll be coming back for that a lot! The restaurant was empty so there wasn't much wait, the service was great and the woman working was very sweet. I'd recommend coming here if you like Thai Lao or Chinese food! I'm planning on trying the red curry next!

Definite language barrier, but hoping for the best! Arrived. Order was ready. I paid for it. Like I said, there is a language barrier, but at least the order was ready. After paying for it, I asked for a receipt. She didn't know how to get it on iPad, got irritated trying to figure it out and called to get help. That person helped and she was not happy & rude handing the receipt over! Yikes! Hope the food is good!! Couldn't get out of there fast enough!! And Inside is pretty empty. There are a couple booths. Dark & gloomy. Lunchtime! Shrimp spring roll was Fresh & tasty! Great SUPER HOT sauce to dip it in. My mouth was on fire! Good peanut sauce too! BBQ chicken stick was okay. Definitely tough. Didn't taste fresh. 1/2 for both was plenty! Leftovers/ share. Really wish the service was good. Luckily it worked out, but I would rather go elsewhere with Good service than how I was treated just asking for a receipt.

However, I'm so glad I gave it a try! The restaurant was empty when I arrived, but the simple layout and vibes remind me of pho restaurants I went to growing up in SoCal. We were greeted by the female owner immediately when walking through the door and given a menu as soon as we were seated. Our orders also arrived very quickly. My only constructive criticism is I would have preferred more interactive service, like refilling the water glasses, but overall, the food more than made up for it. I decided to go with the Steak, Tendon, Tripe Pho, which is my basic order when I am trying a new pho restaurant. It was definitely a large portion, with a flavorful broth and generous amount of meat. At $14, I thought it was a great value, especially for the amount of meat included. Overall a delicious and nostalgic dish! I'm seeing a lot of good reviews about their Mongolian Beef, so I'll definitely be back to try that. Otherwise, I will be back just for a comforting bowl of pho :)

Chicken was flavorful & moist. Pork belly was crispy tho a tad dry. Sticky rice was nice good! Also ordered their spring rolls, noodles & mango w/sticky rice too. Spring rolls were soft & really fresh. My preference is combo shrimp pork together but they keep theirs separate, which is fine, just different style. Peanut sauce is really great! Sometimes it's too thick & peanut buttery or too thin & vinegary at other places. Theirs is perfect! Mango was a tad under ripe. Maybe not quite in season? but again, sticky rice on point. Basically besides getting your orders delivered to you at the table you get up to get everything yourselves. We've had the fried pork belly before so it was great to get the same quality. Crispy pork skin on top and juicy port meat. Good ratio of fat to meat on the pork belly. The sticky rice was huge and one order was enough for the two of us. The papaya salad was okay. We ordered Thai style and spicy but it was not spicy at all. I also would had preferred the shred to be a little thicker for the crunch. But the papaya had a nice and refreshing taste. They also have a lot of repackaged food at the counter where you order/pay. Decided do get the Tapioca dumplings (sakoot yay sai). Perfect texture of chewiness for the outside. The pork filling inside was a bit on the sweeter side but the ratio of tapioca do filling was great. Saying it as a lettuce wrap with the fried onion, cilantro, and fried chili pepper helped cut the sweetness a bit though.
