Always come here for the pho but wanted to also try their Beef Banh Mi and it did not disappoint. The customer service could use some improvement. Sometimes they don't notice when you walk in & sit down to tend to you or they're very serious when getting your order. However, they're usually pretty quick to bring you your food. Restaurant and bathrooms are pretty clean. read more

Food is always so good. We love the broth here, it's always our go to. Maybe not be the cleanest but so Storms that's where the good food are at. Service is your typical Asian mom and pop, they are nice but harder to understand sometimes. read more

This is usually my go to place for chicken pho. Located on first and McKinley in what is dubbed "The Pho District". However I went on Halloween night and the recipe has somehow changed. What was once so flavorful is now giving heavier hints of ginger. Don't get me wrong, it was still delicious but not like it was. I hope it wasn't a change in recipe or cooks. The service was very good this time , I do take out, so I usually just pay and go however the person ringing me up was so nice and chatted with me. For 2 large chicken pho i paid $30, great portion with lots of shredded chicken breast included. Will try again read more

Best pho in town. Hands down. I'll fight if you say differently lol I've tried other dishes there as well. Very good.

I really love the pho here. It's really good and the broth is light. The service is great and the environment is very homey. I recommend this place. read more

Small local own pho restaurant. A little crowded for the seatings but the food was great. I think this restaurant is one of the best pho place for portion size. I have tried alot of pho places in town and most places dont give you alot of noodles when it comes to the Large bowl. They give you a good amount of side veggies too. read more

Hit the spot and open late. Needed the recovery after a long weekend. Not the best, but you can't beat the time frames for late night needs. Water is infrequent, no vegetarian options if that's what you're looking for. We had gotten a steak pho, roast duck pho, and egg rolls cuz something fried. Compatriot enjoyed the steak pho, the roast duck was a bit oily and mostly bone as opposed to meat for the pieces. A little chewy as well for what was there. The egg rolls were nice and crunchy when they came out. Good for what it is, and here fits the bill for certain situations. The recovery was real for sure so this was a good respite at the time. read more

Two small chicken pho and 1 shrimp spring roll with extra peanut sauce ordered. The worker was nice and said okay, bye after it was ordered. I went in to pick it up. A little language barrier. Cold inside. Lots of tables and chairs. People eating outside at tables too. The order wasn't ready yet. Waited after paying for it. Didn't feel the most comfortable waiting. It was handed over a bit later and got out of there. Lunchtime! Got everything set up! The chicken Pho was really good! Chicken cooked good! Fresh veggies and tasty noodles! Really liked the super hot peppers in it. The spring roll was good too! Fresh & tasty with good peanut sauce! Mother said hers was good! Okay service but, luckily, the food was really good! read more

The food here was great and so was the service. The ambiance not so great. It is clean and decorated but from the outside it looks like a place you probably would not want to eat at. There is plenty of seating inside. I think this place is really known for their pho. I ate vegetable soup the day before so I wasn't feeling like soup again but next time I will definitely order the pho. read more

Went there last night for the first time. We had a group of 5 adults and 4 children. The service was not good, and the orders were not all correct. Couple/Children near us , left after no service came. Poor service, will not go again. Loud drinking groups, not good for Children. Tip: Should not put Tables outside, unless there are people to service them. read more

I was craving Pho after a hard long shift, I get off pretty late and this place opens till 11pm so ... It was right up my alley. I ordered the #3 combo, service was fast and friendly, broth was tasty everything was perfect except my pho didn't include tendon, so I asked them to include it, I didn't know that it would cost me an extra $7.50 (yikes) anyways, I ended up eating a 20 dollar small pho that night and even though $$ pricey it was delicious. My recommendation from now on is ask how much for add-ons before you order them lol. This place was pretty busy for being so late, so I'll be going back during the day and enjoy another dish from their menu soon. read more

Paradise Restaurant - #24 - Vietnamese Near Me - Fresno, California

One of the only places open after 10 pm, good pho, large portions, meh service. Spring roll - good, tender shrimp, no mint leaves, chewy rice paper and pho noodles, some of the greens in it looked wilted though Regular combination pho - huge portion, lasted me 2 meals. Seems like a large to me, not sure how ppl finish the large bowl. Soup is on the greasy side. I asked for no cilantro but there was still cilantro in it. Some of the meat is too fatty which adds to the greasy soup. The noodles are good. Service is meh, the workers don't seem to speak that much English but the food is served fast. read more

The restaurant is suffering somewhere... it's been so dirty with slippery floors. It really keeps us from going there. If the public area is dirty, can't stop from thinking that the kitchen is dirty... sad about it. Food was the same as usual and the service as well. read more

This place is off McKinley and is near my work downtown. There are a few pho places around the area, but this one is my favorite. I decided to visit this place again during covid (take out) for a bowl of their pho. I ordered a rare steak small bowl of pho with a chicken bahn mi. Although it is a size small, the bowl of soup is very large. A small bowl of soup is under $8. You will receive a box of noodles and thin slices of rare meat in a box. The broth is PIPING hot. Like scalding hot. Like, if you were being assaulted, you could throw this container of broth on them and it would badly burn them and scare them away hot. So you put your meat and noodles in the broth and the meat cooks up and the noodles soften. Keep in mind if you add ALL of the meat and noodles, it may overflow or, at best, the soup will be at the very tip top of the container. So, its best to go in easy with the noodles. For take out, you are also provided with a bag full of goodies. In the bag, you will receive limes, basil, sprouts, hot sauce, soy sauce and jalapenos. I add all of the above to my soup. The bahn mi is $5 and it is really good. It is a pretty big sandwich, so usually my husband and I will split one sandwich and each have a bowl of pho. The sandwich comes with thinly sliced cucumber and carrots. The bread is very crusty and flaky. This place is pretty active during lunch, so I would suggest to call ahead of time to place your order. Also, there is a small bench outside if you want outdoor seating, however, I would suggest to just eat your soup or bahn mi elsewhere. When we recently visited, there was a group of men playing a board game outside. :) read more

I usually go to NHO it was New Year's Day and it was closed so I tried paradise for a second time . It was super busy so I was very patient . I ordered a large 01 . There was Bearly any meat in there . they didn't bring sides to go with it . I had to walk up to register to get the bean sprouts . I also didn't get a drink either so I had to ask for that too along with a spoon. I also asked for some hot oil . Which I never received. And too top it off I had cock roach crawling up the wall literally right next to me . I do not recommend. NHO is waaaayy better , I would even give Thai phuckett or pho 99 a chance before here maybe even pho 75 and they are just as bad . read more

5 stars for the food: excellent beef pho and hot tea!! 1 star for cleanliness: everything is dirty, floors, tables, chairs, napkin dispensor, condiment bottles sticky, cutlery dispenser on table last saw water in ....??? Glass doors to fridge and restaurant are FILTHY. Materials stored everywhere, full view of kitchen when using bathrooms (no comment on those....) On average, 3 stars. I was so excited to finally have pho. I even ordered the 00 special only to be disappointed!! I prefer quality over quantity! The noodles had a musty odor/taste! Paradise Restaurant - This is their 00 special. I was so excited to finally splurge on a bowl of pho only to be disappointed. - Vietnamese Near Me - Fresno, California

The sever here lacks hospitality. No refill on drinks instead you'll have to flag them down. They lady that brought out our piping hot pho, instead of taking her time to place the pho on our table, she asked me to hurry up & help her grab the hot bowl of phos from her large serving platter. I've been coming here for years & this was the first time that I had ever encountered this. Normally at pho restaurants or any other restaurants in general, the servers will NOT ask customers to grab their food from the servers trays. I looked around & the restaurant was half empty so idk what her rush was about. Baffled I said "okay" & proceed to grab the pho bowls. I want the restaurant to train staffs because if a customer was to accidentally spill hot liquids, the restaurant can be liable. This place is so weird. Please go elsewhere if you want decent service. read more

The food was delicious, service was fast, and I will be back. The pho size was legit extra large. Try the paradise special.

Bring back the original owner! The new owner sucks!!!! They gave me fucking hard noodles straight from the package. I have to boil some water to soften up the noodles. Plus, they package everything so different now. I'm done with this restaurant unless if they bring back the original owner. read more

Food is always delicious of course it's my always go to pho spot. The chicken pho hits the spot.

This place is my go to for Pho. I generally have the Paradise special. The broth is so flavorful and there is a sufficient amount of protein that they add to it. I've tried their egg rolls and those are tasty as well. Sometimes the concern with egg rolls is that they may be too greasy, but not my experience with Paradise. I knocked off a star because I really think they can work on the actual space, it needs to be renovated. read more

With all the cold weather my buddy has been crazing pho and we have come here during our lunch break several times now. It is my vote for the best pho location downtown. I would not want to be here at night however, I know it's called paradise but I think gangstas paradise is better description for the neighborhood. Even at 11 am on weekday the place is almost 3/4 full. Their broth is excellent and they have among the best pricing for all their dishes. This is even more important at a cash only place. Like all pho places here there is no service, wave at anyone for attention, they are pleasant about it. Egg rolls are great as well with a nice crunch and not soaked in oil. The spring rolls are just ok however, shrimp portions are too tiny. My only negative comment is the quality of meat here especially tendon and tripe is decent but not the best compared to some of their competition up north. read more

Updating from 4 to 5 stars! Best PHO in Fresno! There, I said it! Fight me if you want but you will lose! Because it is the truth! They are open for takeout and have some tables outside as of August 1st, during COVID. It was a bit heartbreaking to see them so empty. But fear not, the food is still amazing! They give you so much... possibly more than ever! So tasty! I love supporting such great people during this difficult time! Support this place! read more

Came here for late lunch based on recommendation from my sister. Good pho for under $10, generous portion: ordered "medium" bowl, had to take leftovers home! Plenty of parking, plenty of tables inside to accommodate small to large party. Fast service: ordered and got my food in literally 5 mins later! Tip: get the egg rolls. They are the bomb! read more

This is not your traditional pho. Very watered down broth that lacked flavor and tasted like it was made out of powder. The people in there all very kind, but unfortunately it doesn't make up for the lack of cleanliness in the establishment. The cutlery was dirty, wall had sauces on them, tables were greasy, and floor was grimey. The chili oil seems like they just top it off with more oil everyday. It's open later than usual so I understand the interest, but there are better options out there! read more

Love their food but way too expensive now $60 total with tax and a little tip for 2 large bowls of pho with a side of tendon.

I haven't been to this place over 5 years ago. They have much updated since. They can now use (debit) cards and to serve pickle jalapeño condiments and a jar of shrimp paste. I came in for a quick bite of bahn mi and it look like the ham slice is the American kind. Still I didn't mind it because it was good. Pho is always delicious which ever is order and price is reasonable. The negative star goes to the server. She didn't seem very kind. And the lemon that was served looks orange or home picked from their own backyard and one of the slices looked like it was squeezed. Still I ate there so there you go. read more
