I let the Mexican lady who worked there know that it tasted nothing like Thai tea and she was so rude to me about it threw the drink in the trash and refused to give me a refund. With the small offerings available in Sanger, Mintea's menu makes it an ideal destination for certain cravings: pho, chicken and sticky rice, and popcorn chicken. A 20 minute doesn't seem far...until it is. I can save myself an extra 10-15 minutes by heading to MinTea. If I go weekly, that's nearly an hour in a month or 12 hours in a year. See how quickly that adds up? The convenience of MinTea is one of the main draws of why it serves as one of my Sanger destinations. While not necessarily comparable to my go-to pho place in the Fresno area, I would deem this one adequate. When on the mend and in need of comfort, pho here can do the trick. Chicken and sticky rice is also a good comfort choice. The portion is filling. You can't really go wrong with popcorn chicken. This is actually my go-to snack at most boba shops. Notice how I did not list boba at the beginning of this? I am not a fan of the drinks here. My drink of choice is iced thai tea, no boba. I've tried a few of the other drinks as well and all the drinks seem to share a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Because of the convenience, I will grab a thai tea to satisfy a thirst but I would likely opt for the other choice in town. The space is small but the minty walls, bright lights, and stools at the window showcase smart use of what space is available. The restroom is down a relatively long hall. It's in the direct line of sight of people sitting down the hall and those walking into the place. I kind of wish there was an additional screen to pretend at some privacy for those using the bathroom (ahem...me. I don't want people seeing me heading in and out of it. Somewhat nonsensical, I know, but it bothers me.) Because of convenience and the multiple offerings, MinTea is a good choice when you don't want to head out of town.
