1 Item combo with igado (beef and peas), 1/2 and 1/2 pancit and rice, and Shanghi Lumpia.
Dathan P.

Met with friends who wanted Filipino cuisine. I ordered a 1 item combo and chose Igado (beef with peas) with 1/2 pancit and 1/2 rice with a side of Shangi lumpia. Service was fast. Food was excellent temperature. Restaurant clean. I have to say that I'm picky when it comes to Filipino food because I'm Filipino and food tasted just like I was at a family party. Lots of dessert items to choose from but I was full with just my order. Portion sizes are more than enough. I will definitely come again.

Love love love this business and staff. The food is so delicious and home cooked feeling and taste! I like to go there and get stuff for my kids school or for the Church potluck get together with friends you can go in there for lunch breakfast dinner they're always open. They they have sweets and savory. They have drinks all of your Filipino food needs. Quiet Atmosphere tables that you can sit at take it to go or dine in. Always very clean they have TV going sometimes the games are going if you're into sports and they have music playing. If you're in the area, I definitely suggest you going over there trying it out for yourself they're located by Saint Agnes Hospital.

Jackfruit, coconut and ube dessert. Not too sweet

Huge selection of Filipino food; all the food I tried was delicious. I got 3 entree option with half rice and half pancit; entrees I picked were Pinakbet, squid adobo, and pork sisig. All were very flavorful. So much food for the price. The 3 entree option became my work lunches for most of the week. I'm so glad to find pinakbet here; I love it but so many ingredients to make it and makes my house smell Glad I can just buy some when I'm craving it. Squid adobo was flavorful. The sisig was light and delicious with all the onions and peppers; the pork was diced so not too fatty or heavy. My friend tried the fried fish, which was not crispy since we went on a Sunday evening; might be better earlier in the day. The owners were so accommodating and patient explaining all of the entrees to us. They let us try a melon soup which was delicious and tasted healthy. Will be back for the soup as the weather cools down. They let us try banana lumpias. We got a variety of entrees and desserts. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. I'm glad my friend found this hidden gem. I love supporting local businesses. They have limited seating with 2 tables but we were the only ones there; 3 of us on a Sunday afternoon at 5 pm. Nice quiet ambiance. They gave us so many utensils and bowls/plates so we could try each other's food. I will definitely be back to try more food since they had a large selection.

Finally had the opportunity to give this place a try. As a Filipina we can be quite critical when trying our own cuisine, since it's something we can make at home and there are many different versions Filipino dishes can be made. My family and I (2 adults and 2kids) arrived just around 7:15pm. From the outside looking in it looked closed since the windows were all covered up but the Open sign were there and flashing. We entered a strong smell of curry hit me almost felt like I was in an Indian restaurant instead of a Filipino. Red, red everywhere tables, chairs. They have an area for desserts, ice cream, halo halo, leche flan and drinks. The other area has all the hot food displayed. It was at the end of the day and they close at 9pm. The trays all had food but there was only a alittle bit left and from the looks of it, it might have just been sitting. They have combo plates and al carte. My husband and I both ordered 3 combo plates with rice, I had ask for pancit but I don't think they do half and half. Our main dishes included; chicken adobo, dinuguan, chicken curry, igado and 2 boneless milk fish. We also ordered lumpia on the side comes in 5pc but they gave us 6. I also saw prepackaged galunggong smoked fish and I was just so happy!!! Brought back childhood memories eating that fish. They have different prices for the combos during lunch and dinner hour. It's a bit in the pricey side for dinner but there was so much food. The lady who helped us was so kind. She packed everything nicely and provided all the sauces: vinegar and sweet chili sauce. They gave us more than enough plates and utensils. They have high chairs and she helped set it up and cleaned it which was really nice of her because most restaurants lately just give you the high chairs and it's so filthy. Everything was honestly delicious! I could only imagine if it was fresh! Nothing was overwhelmingly salty compared to other Filipino restaurants. The Igado was so good however it was swimming in grease. The galunggong smoked fish was bomb. The chicken adobo was perfect and the chicken was so tender. Strangely enough I've never had chicken curry at a Filipino restaurant but it was also good and not spicy. We order pineapple juice it was the end of the day so it tasted a bit water down. Overall my husband and I thought everything was delicious. I would love to return when food is fresh, oh and the desserts, I can't wait to give that a try! Their hospitality was warm and welcoming.

While staying overnight in Fresno, our group of three decided to stop into this popular 'point-point' Filipino restaurant in Fresno, California for some homecooked style Filipino food. We found the proprietors/owners to be very helpful and friendly, the portions to be large and prices to be reasonable, and the food to be decent but much of it suffering a bit due to us dining towards the end of the day. It is open 8 am to 9 pm, every day of the week. We came around 6 pm on a Sunday. The food is pre-prepared and displayed behind glass, where one can choose to populate 1 ($8.99), 2 ($13.99), or 3 ($18.99) entree plates, coming with a choice of rice or pancit noodles. Unlike other places, each entree is a full serving: one 2 entree plate and one 1 entree plate was more than enough for the three of us. The food tasted a lot better than it looked: it would be worth tasting it again freshly made. My pork dish was a little spicy, with really great flavor but extremely greasy. The chicken adobo consisted of only dark-meat drumsticks. We finished our meal by sharing a halo-halo, which was great (they have a dedicated ice grinder). Plenty to share between us.

Caroline and Robert are the best. It was my first time here and they made me so comfortable and I enjoyed my food very much. Everything was cooked by Caroline, even the desserts. The customer service was amazing. Very clean and positive ambiance. I orders my dinner and I ordered a take out for breakfast! I highly recommend this spot. 5 Come and check them out!

I visited during lunch and got the lunch special with pancit and chicken adobo and everything was $7.99 before taxes! This is the tastiest and most filling meal deal I've had since 2020 when everyone started shrinking potion sizes. It tastes authentic and fresh and the service was fast and great. The ambience is a typical casual hole in wall family owned business with lots of seating.

Solid 4.5. Great service. Huge portions. They got stuff from the back for us that wasn't out in the front. Super clean place. Loved everything. 0.5 off because the pork adobo was kind of dry and they ran out of ube ice cream for their halo halo. But so worth the money and I will be back.

It is a small place tucked in the back of the strip mall. No frills Filipino food served cafeteria style. all the entrées are served with either rice or pancit. We ordered five dishes and they were all delicious. We had a jackfruit, spicy dish, a sweet pork dish, a dish with liver, and a couple other things. The people working there were very friendly and accommodating, and took their time to explain all the dishes and even turned off the news and put on some nice Filipino music while we were in there. The cons are that it is a place mainly set up for takeout. Everything was served in plastic and on paper plates, so if you're looking for a sit down place with a waiter and a dining experience, this is not the place. they had some very cool looking Filipino desserts and drinks that I'm hoping to try the next time I go.

4/15/25 Getting lunch! The worker called back to order. He was very kind! 2 item Chicken curry ordered with spinach coconut veggies, lumpia & Pancit with it. He said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I went to get it shortly later. Arrived & greeted! Kind workers! Order was almost ready. They had teasers walking in. I added to the order. "Sweet Banana Bliss! Yum! Paid for it bagged and received. Found out the guy that took the order was the owner and he wasn't even there. Just helping them from afar. Very nice inside. Many tables, buffet set up and a lot of red. . Lunchtime! Order split. Spinach coconut veggie was different, but DELICIOUS and flavorful! Small hint of the coconut flavor with the spinach. The chicken curry was GREAT too. Still had the bones, but didn't matter. Tender and flavorful! Loved the Lumpia! Tasty! Even better dipped in the sauce included. Banana Bliss 1/2 was DELICIOUS too! Not too sweet! Perfect! Mother said hers was REALLY GREAT! Fantastic, different & Great lunch! Great service too! Highly recommended!

The food here is absolutely exquisite and I'll of flavor and spices! It's honestly an experience to come here because it's the only place in Fresno and Clovis with Filipino food. I'm obsessed and we'll definitely be back! The energy is just right and you can come here to just get take out--you can just take your food to go

Food here is amazing! It's like having to come over my Tita's house. Food is fresh and owners are just amazing. Their siomai reminds me of the Kowloon siomai back home. You can tell I love em from the amount I get. Freshly made everyday. Add some soy sauce and calamansi and just thank me later. I was told they are going to sell our filipino crispy lechon. This is something us Filipinos have been longing for in Central Valley. Can't wait!

SF had Benkyodo, which I appreciate, but did ran sweet for me…read more SJ has Shuei-Do. Pardon, but non ci siamo. Sac has Osaka-Ya, but Kogetsu-Do is better. We were in town the morning after seeing the Firefail. Finally success on the third visit attempt. Amongst other shops on the desolate street stood an unremarkable window front where the repeat button has remained on since the 60s. Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian. And yes, there's Fugetsu in LA, but I haven't been. Though if you need a reason to visit the Fresno, you can always take the 99 traveling between SoCal and NorCal... Just need to be early if much is desired. If you're interested in AYCEat mochi, staying healthy, working out for free, and have an eye for the art of making mochi, may I suggest asking the owner for an apprenticeship? The owner's mentioned on articles that there's no one to take over and you don't become a master overnight.
