    Grandma's omelette
    Ray L.

I have been here on several occasions , and have always been satisfied with the food. The menu is extensive, the portions are a good size, and the food comes out fast . On my last visit, my wife and I shared Grandma's omelette with country potatoes, and a biscuit with gravy. The omelette was cooked to perfection , and the potatoes were delicious. However, the star of the meal was the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are homemade , and the gravy is so damn peppery and perfect. If you choose anything off the menu, make sure to try their biscuits and gravy- you won't be disappointed. I love this place! The servers are nice, the food is delicious and everything comes out quick. My only small complaint is that the dining room is ice -cold. That might ok in the middle of summer, but the food gets cold quick. Eat fast ! The breakfast entrees are a bit pricey compared to other options in the area. However, you get what you pay for, and the food coming out of Jus Jo's is worth it.

Sunday breakfast hot spot.... Line out the door. Be patient because it is soooo worth the wait. And it goes quickly !OMG I will have dreams about my chile verde breakfast burrito .... I got the senior portion which was plenty generous . I ate it for two more meals. Oh and do grab a cinnamon roll mmmm we shared it and still had some left to take home. The staff is friendly and awesome. Love this place !!

They are very friendly and welcoming. Their service is excellent! The steak was very juicy, it had very good flavor. I wasn't a big fan of the biscuit & gravy, it felt too bland, I needed more flavor more seasoning. I did add pepper and salt but it was still bland. The meat lovers omelette & Nutella banana waffle are a knockout. The restaurant feels homey and cozy, the chef came out and was asking people how the food was.

Ju's Jo's never leaves you hungry! The serve is top notch, you cup is always full! And plates are never small! Food is always hot! Seasoned well, and full of flavor! The menu is almost too big, making it hard to decide! You may need to wait a few minutes, but it is always worth it! You are welcomed as you enter, and they say come back when you leave. It's never good bye! Happy eating in Clovis!

So, our morning didn't start off too great. Not gonna lie, Jus Jo's was not our first choice for breakfast this morning but it's where we ended up. I didn't mind it, I've been here once before (a very long time ago), but the wait was a lot longer than we anticipated today... We saw 5 different groups who put their names down AFTER us get seated BEFORE us. 2 groups of 4, 2 groups of 3, and another with just 2 (like us)... the hostess, as nice as she was, missed our name on the list somehow-- and she was going back and forth between two lists at the time. There was one clear list when I signed up with only 2 or 3 groups ahead of us. So, yeah. Apart from the really long wait (with limited space + rain outside)... the staff was super friendly and made it hard to be upset, honestly. I think my hanger had a good pull on my mood as well. We got our drink orders taken right away. He got a soda, I got a coffee. I wish the coffee tasted better than it did, but whatevs. We ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast (1/2 order) to share, as well as the Bull Dog Jalapeño Cheddar sausage plate. Each plate came with a side of eggs (he got over hard, I got over easy)... choice of bacon or sausage for the French Toast-- he chose bacon. The sausage dish came with country potatoes and [we chose] toast. The sausage was pretty good, I just wish it was warmer. It didn't feel hot at all. The eggs and potatoes were as they should be. Bacon was nice and crispy. The Cinnamon Roll was my favorite portion of our meal (sweet but not overly sweet-- don't drown it in syrup), but I saved it for last and by the time I got to it... I was almost stuffed! We still cleared our plates though. That melted butter makes all the difference though... spread that baby out! All in all, once I finally got coffee and food in my system... I was able to enjoy our breakfast and not be hung up on the wait. I understand they were super busy, I saw it with my own eyes, it was the mere fact we were skipped over multiple times is all. Anywho, not the best I've ever had but it got the job done. Would this place be my first choice next time? Probably not. Would I come back again? Yes, just not when I'm starving and hangry! K, byeee.

Pretty darn good breakfast! The chicken and waffles are super yummy and so are their pancakes. Be sure your party is completely here or else they will not seat you.

I can never go wrong with what I order here. The last item I've had was a cinnamon roll and it was delicious. I haven't dined in recently but I can think back of when my family and I came here. It's worth the wait!

A true gem near Fresno State. Fresh and flavorful - service with a smile...maybe a wait, but worth every minute! Staff and owner are appreciative l, make you feel as if you are deeply cared for. Central location in Fresno/Clovis, and plenty of parking. Menu has something for everyone- drooling as I write this. Selections and a visit will make you smile:)

Best breakfast food hands down. They have the best huge biscuits and gravy. Staff are friendly and treat everyone like family.

My wife came in for brunch on a Sunday, around 11 AM or so. The restaurant was very busy at that time, but people were going in and out consistently and it only took about 10 minutes before we were sat. The restaurant is a little tight in space inside, but it does have plenty of tables--probably not the first option I would choose to go in with a larger party (5+) on a busy day. Our server was very nice and attentive throughout our meal, which we appreciated. To eat I ordered the "Farmer's Special" breakfast sandwich--a sandwich filled with ham, bacon, two fried eggs, cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado and mayo, on grilled sourdough. The sandwich was a good size, definitely filled me up and I tend to eat a lot. Flavor and all of the sandwich's elements were tasty, not amazing, but tasty. On the side I had hash browns--they were crispy and good. To drink I ordered an iced coffee--not as strong as I would have liked, but still creamy and sweet. Overall we had a good experience. We would come back if we were ever in town again!!

Busy on a Sunday morning but worth the wait. Once seated our server, Jenny provided the menus and water for our party. Menu options were given and our orders placed shortly afterwards. Food portions are generous and enough for another meal as a takeout. Dining area is large and for a Sunday morning, packed with customers. Come in early for the best seating and avoid the crowd Excellent service and food.

Restaurant is small and cute. Service is great. Food is just okay. Chili verde wasnt so spicy. Tasted ok. Cinnamon roll is very dense. Just ok. Ordered an ice coffee. Just ok. Food is just lack luster imo. I just wouldnt come back. Service was great though.

I always pass by this place and today I finally went. It is smaller than what I expected but we went right around 8am and were seated immediately. As we sat it definitely started to fill up though! I think their cinnamon rolls are popular but sadly we didn't get one otherwise I wouldn't have eaten my breakfast! I kept it simple and tried their chicken and waffles, the chicken tenders were hot and fresh with a very flavorful breading. The waffle was very good! My son got the General breakfast sandwich, as you can tell he demolished half before I could take a picture! We had several waiters/waitresses check in on us and everyone was so attentive and friendly! This place really has the small town vibe and I really enjoyed it! Will be back again!

We headed in at an odd time yesterday around 230pm. It was late for lunch and too early for dinner. Nevertheless, we were seated in the front dining area, and ordered some entrees. The menu offers a lot of familiar favorites that you would expect to see at a a bar/ restaurant. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a few specialty plates. For my meal, I ordered The Local burger (no pickles of course) which was absolutely fantastic. Piled high with cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes - this burger was executed to perfection. I ordered it medium, and it came out medium (imagine that). The best part was the sunny side egg that was placed on top. That first bite was heavenly. The yolk breaks, and all the goodness adds a little extra flavor to the already delicious burger. The shoe string fries were seasoned perfectly- I highly recommend this entree. The only thing I would add next time is an element of spice to take things up to another level. My wife ordered the BLTA sandwich , with sweet potato fries. I didn't try a bite because I had enough bacon on my burger , but I did sneak a sweet potato fry , and it was fantastic. My son order the chimichurri steak , he seemed to enjoy it although it may have had too much sauce on it for his liking. Perhaps it would been better if he ordered the sauce on the side. My picky daughter ordered the pesto chicken sandwich ,and she said it was pretty good. My family and I were full , but weren't going to let the dessert options pass us by. My family has a sweet tooth. We all shared the chocolate cake and bread pudding . Both are nice options if you need something sweet to top off your meal. The food and vibe of this place deserves 5 stars. I will deduct one star for the mediocre service and inconsistent food prep. Our meals were coming out one by one which made it awkward when trying to eat together. Our server didn't offer refills on our drinks , and didn't bring us utensils -until we asked for them. I will be back to try more menu items , and enjoy a cold beer while watching the game.

We made a reservation, which is nice because they print your name on the menu! And then we promptly forgot to actually take the menus with us. :( This is a prix fixe menu where you have a choice for each of the courses (think DineLA style), and the menu apparently changes all the time, according to the whims of the chef (which is the most fun). We also shared a wine pairing and the sommelier was fantastic in telling us about each of the wines. Wonderful experience. Our server, Trevor, was great! We loved the pecan pie cheesecake (my partner says it's the perfect thickness - as in, it's not very thick at all, and manageable after a large meal. I also really liked the sesame crusted tuna, and the wagyu beef was amazing. My partner got a casarecce for one of the courses and she loved that. The flavors in that are super intense and really delicious. We were seated in the garden patio, and there seemed to have been an engagement party that evening, but you couldn't hear anything from the garden patio - it was very peaceful and chill. Looking forward to visiting again when we are in town! For $78 for a prix fixe menu ($62 for wine pairing), compared to LA prices, we are down!
