We passed through Clovis on our way home from our road trip to Shaver lake and found this restaurant. From the service, to decor, and especially the food, everything was great. I had the breakfast club sandwich and homestyle potatoes. It was delicious! The rest of my family had omelets, burgers, French toast, and pancakes. Not one complaint from anyone. The food is always hot, the service is excellent, and the staff does a great job keeping everything running smoothly. Jus' Jo's is located in Clovis off Shaw Avenue. If you don't know where it is, you could easily drive right past it since there's no prominent street sign, but it's a well-known local favorite. Depending on the day and time, there can be a wait, which says a lot about its popularity. I was recently asked to write a review about this place, and honestly, I didn't have anything negative to say. I usually order the Farmer's Special Breakfast Sandwich, which comes with ham, bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and mayo on sourdough bread. It's an awesome breakfast sandwich and one of my go-to orders. Today, however, I decided to ignore my diabetes for a moment and try their famous half cinnamon roll French toast. Wow. It was crispy, buttery, topped with powdered sugar, and absolutely delicious. I actually had to stop myself from eating the whole thing. It was my first time trying it, and it definitely won't be my last. The coffee was great, and they kept my cup full the entire meal. I have been here on several occasions , and have always been satisfied with the food. The menu is extensive, the portions are a good size, and the food comes out fast . On my last visit, my wife and I shared Grandma's omelette with country potatoes, and a biscuit with gravy. The omelette was cooked to perfection , and the potatoes were delicious. However, the star of the meal was the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are homemade , and the gravy is so damn peppery and perfect. If you choose anything off the menu, make sure to try their biscuits and gravy- you won't be disappointed. I love this place! The servers are nice, the food is delicious and everything comes out quick. My only small complaint is that the dining room is ice -cold. That might ok in the middle of summer, but the food gets cold quick. Eat fast ! The breakfast entrees are a bit pricey compared to other options in the area. So, our morning didn't start off too great. Not gonna lie, Jus Jo's was not our first choice for breakfast this morning but it's where we ended up. I didn't mind it, I've been here once before (a very long time ago), but the wait was a lot longer than we anticipated today... We saw 5 different groups who put their names down AFTER us get seated BEFORE us. 2 groups of 4, 2 groups of 3, and another with just 2 (like us)... the hostess, as nice as she was, missed our name on the list somehow-- and she was going back and forth between two lists at the time. There was one clear list when I signed up with only 2 or 3 groups ahead of us. So, yeah. Apart from the really long wait (with limited space + rain outside)... the staff was super friendly and made it hard to be upset, honestly. I think my hanger had a good pull on my mood as well. We got our drink orders taken right away. He got a soda, I got a coffee. I wish the coffee tasted better than it did, but whatevs. We ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast (1/2 order) to share, as well as the Bull Dog Jalapeño Cheddar sausage plate. Each plate came with a side of eggs (he got over hard, I got over easy)... choice of bacon or sausage for the French Toast-- he chose bacon. The sausage dish came with country potatoes and [we chose] toast. The sausage was pretty good, I just wish it was warmer. It didn't feel hot at all. The eggs and potatoes were as they should be. Bacon was nice and crispy. The Cinnamon Roll was my favorite portion of our meal (sweet but not overly sweet-- don't drown it in syrup), but I saved it for last and by the time I got to it... I was almost stuffed! We still cleared our plates though. That melted butter makes all the difference though... spread that baby out! All in all, once I finally got coffee and food in my system... I was able to enjoy our breakfast and not be hung up on the wait. I understand they were super busy, I saw it with my own eyes, it was the mere fact we were skipped over multiple times is all. Anywho, not the best I've ever had but it got the job done. Would this place be my first choice next time? Probably not. Would I come back again? Yes, just not when I'm starving and hangry! I just had an amazing breakfast experience at this establishment. The service and attentiveness were excellent despite it being a busy morning. We were sat at our table right away, our drinks arrived within 5 minutes and our food was served in less than 15. My brother and I both ordered the rib eye steak and egg breakfast. My steak was cooked to perfection. The bowl of bananas we ordered for my 8 month old nephew came right away and thoughtfully mashed to bite size pieces for him. This attention to detail and great service will be remembered as we will definitely be coming back again. My wife came in for brunch on a Sunday, around 11 AM or so. The restaurant was very busy at that time, but people were going in and out consistently and it only took about 10 minutes before we were sat. The restaurant is a little tight in space inside, but it does have plenty of tables--probably not the first option I would choose to go in with a larger party (5+) on a busy day. Our server was very nice and attentive throughout our meal, which we appreciated. I always pass by this place and today I finally went. It is smaller than what I expected but we went right around 8am and were seated immediately. As we sat it definitely started to fill up though! I think their cinnamon rolls are popular but sadly we didn't get one otherwise I wouldn't have eaten my breakfast! I kept it simple and tried their chicken and waffles, the chicken tenders were hot and fresh with a very flavorful breading. The waffle was very good! Amazing service and food. The staff is fast and friendly. Location can be very busy in the mornings and weekends. As soon as you sit down, they will get your drink order and get it to you quickly. Many breakfast places tend to allow one to add their own salt and pepper to taste. We appreciated all the flavor they add to it, so you didn't need that. Everything we ordered was delicious. My husband always tries to order differently but orders a steak and eggs consistently. His medium rare steak is always cooked perfectly. Waffles are amazing. I had to add some Cholula sauce to give them flavor. The French toast were good, the crust was a little too big and rough for my linking but that's just me. Recently went back after over 3 years. It's nice to see that they are still busy after all these years. It's no secret that they serve really good food. Arrived at almost noon saw there were people waiting outside. My husband went in to put our name on the list down and was told it was going to be a 30min wait. They took his number down as well since we were waiting in the car. Exactly 30mins later he received a message saying our table was ready. We entered and this place looks almost exactly the way is did last time we were here except for the Christmas decorations of course. We were given the menu and someone came around to get our drink order. No doubt they were busy with each table filled. Alittle over 10mins has gone by and we were looking around waiting for someone to come and take our orders. I had to stop a worker and tell them that we were ready. And he was looking around looking to see if anyone was available. Few mins later someone came back and apologized for the wait and took our orders. I had the Famous Country Fried Steak Classic Combo, Famous cinnamon roll and my husband had the chili verde omelet. Our food took about 20mins to arrive. Everything was hot and fresh. My food was delicious. They serve one of the best biscuits and gravy in my option. The cinnamon roll was warm and soft. Our server came by a few times to check on us. This place is definitely a hot spot. I didn't enjoy waiting the time we waited for someone to take our order that would be my only complaint. But the food was good. As a disabled veteran with severe tremors they refused to allow me to bring in my coffee cup which allows me to enjoy coffee with my breakfast. My cup was empty. they did offer me a cup with a lid but as I explained I cannot use a cup that can collapse as I've scalded my hand in the past trying that. The hostesses reply was she was sorry but their policy is no outside cups allowed. She did seat us but then brought me one of their cups that can collapse if I used it. We left and I let the manager know of my disgust. She did try and defuse the situation but I refuse to be disrespected the way I was and we went elsewhere for our breakfast. read more

Cons: no Apple Pay or any tap pay, but do take card. Service is slow and forgetful but this may be due to how busy it is. They state there is a 60 minute limit at a table, so be sure to shovel that food in. Description of omelet indicated it was going to be huge. Nope. My husband and I had a very rare morning off so we went in for breakfast. Food was good. My husband enjoyed the chili verde and I enjoyed all the veggies in my omelet. If you're not a fan of cheese, definitely ask for light cheese. Prices have significantly increased. Our bill was $54 and change (not including tip) for 2 breakfasts and a shared cinnamon roll (we both had water). Please note that the menu has a notice that prices may increase without notice which in fact is true. My veggie omelette was $18.99 on the menu but our bill showed as $19.99. On a non busy day, we were sat immediately and food arrived quickly. Food was hot. We felt a bit rushed as our bill was set on the table approx 2 minutes after our food arrived. Service was good.
