    Breakfast sandwich with hash browns

We came here on a weekend morning and enjoyed our breakfast here. They were pretty busy but we were able to be seated at a booth in the back pretty quickly. I had their egg Benedict special with ham and my partner had the breakfast sandwich with bacon. We both enjoyed our meal, though the hash browns were a little more on the greasy side -- the important part is that they were crispy, and they were. Overall, the food is made well and the service is also nice. You definitely get a diner vibe when on walk in, and there are plenty of tables.

Breakfast ordered "Love Me Tender" with my veteran patriot. Customer service is always on point with greetings upon arrival & awesome smiles. Angie was our order taker. She always has a "bubbly" personality. My pinay sister Michelle is laser focused with good humor life experience to share with you. Music in the background, pictures on the wall provide the perfect backdrop for remembering the moments of our youth. I highly recommend Chubby's for your go to cuisine.

After years of living in Fresno me and my wife finally decided to give this a place a try. when we walked in we immediately noticed how small the place is and no one was at the host stand so naturally I grab 2 menu and headed to the bar. the server was nice a helpful as we mentioned this was our first time here I learned they DON'T have turkey or beef breakfast meat ONLY PORK or turkey meat for a sandwich I ordered the duke of earl and my wife ordered the western steak omelette. about 5mins after placing a order I noticed they had a microwave joking I said to my wife what if that's what the use to cook our food sadly it wasn't a joke. I watched as they cooked my steak in the microwave and put it on the grill for 2mins and plate it to be served as seen in the photos below I didn't even touch my plate as for my wife she started off strong but that quickly ended when she noticed the texture of the steak in her omelet without fussing or any complaint we smiled and payed our bill in full and decided to go to Chick-fil-a

Yum, we have tried everything on the menu. It's all awesome. Breakfast, with fresh coffee. Lots of friendly faces. The farmers omelette is the bomb! We get it with gravy on the side, fruit instead of potatoes, a pancake. The pancakes taste so good! I dream of them. Yum We highly recommend this awesome place and the awesome people there!

Called in and ordered their strawberry pancakes and their egg white veggie healthy veggie omelet with ham added and wheat toast picked with it. The worker was very nice. We went to get it for Sunday breakfast tomorrow! Upon arrival the order was ready! Cute little restaurant! Retro with good music playing and old school decor. The order workers were so kind and welcoming! Happy to help and a worker gladly gave me sugar free syrup to go with the order. Great experience! Happy Sunday everyone! Got everything ready per usual! Split. Pancake with strawberry topping with whipped cream and powdered sugar and sugar free syrup was plump and really delicious! Great, tasty mix. The veggie egg whites omelet with ham added was fresh and delicious too! Loved the combination and with the hash browns made it better! Mother said hers was really great! She loved the strawberry topping and all the veggies in the omelet. Great service and delicious breakfast! Highly recommended!

This morning I had the chicken fried steak dinner for breakfast. This is one of many times here at Chubby's dinner, always a favorite when in Fresno. Had a baked potato, which is unusual this early in the morning, it was baked to perfection and was very tasty. The chicken fried steak was delicious with a vegetable medley of broccoli, squash, carrots prepared perfectly. The service was quick, my coffee cup never got half empty, they checked on me often to make sure everything was good. I highly recommend if in Fresno you stop in for a fantastic meal. The menu is extensive with many choices. When in Fresno I definitely will be eating here.

I didn't mind it, I've been here once before (a very long time ago), but the wait was a lot longer than we anticipated today... We saw 5 different groups who put their names down AFTER us get seated BEFORE us. 2 groups of 4, 2 groups of 3, and another with just 2 (like us)... the hostess, as nice as she was, missed our name on the list somehow-- and she was going back and forth between two lists at the time. There was one clear list when I signed up with only 2 or 3 groups ahead of us. So, yeah. Apart from the really long wait (with limited space + rain outside)... the staff was super friendly and made it hard to be upset, honestly. I think my hanger had a good pull on my mood as well. We got our drink orders taken right away. He got a soda, I got a coffee. I wish the coffee tasted better than it did, but whatevs. We ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast (1/2 order) to share, as well as the Bull Dog Jalapeño Cheddar sausage plate. Each plate came with a side of eggs (he got over hard, I got over easy)... choice of bacon or sausage for the French Toast-- he chose bacon. The sausage dish came with country potatoes and [we chose] toast. The sausage was pretty good, I just wish it was warmer. It didn't feel hot at all. The eggs and potatoes were as they should be. Bacon was nice and crispy. The Cinnamon Roll was my favorite portion of our meal (sweet but not overly sweet-- don't drown it in syrup), but I saved it for last and by the time I got to it... I was almost stuffed! We still cleared our plates though. That melted butter makes all the difference though... spread that baby out! All in all, once I finally got coffee and food in my system... I was able to enjoy our breakfast and not be hung up on the wait. I understand they were super busy, I saw it with my own eyes, it was the mere fact we were skipped over multiple times is all. Anywho, not the best I've ever had but it got the job done. Would this place be my first choice next time? Probably not. Would I come back again? Yes, just not when I'm starving and hangry! K, byeee.

Genuinely excellent--honestly the best I've had. That dish alone almost earns a return visit. Beyond that, things level off. My wife's omelette was perfectly fine, but very standard diner fare--nothing memorable. Service was friendly and attentive, but the lack of flexibility stood out. There are no substitutions allowed, which became an issue since our kids are vegetarian. We asked to swap bacon or sausage for something simple like fruit or potatoes and were told no. That kind of rigidity feels out of step these days, especially for an easy, lower-cost swap. Cleanliness was another concern. The area near the restrooms could use more attention, and it's the kind of detail that's hard to ignore once you notice it. Then there's the price. After tip, we were over $90 for two adult breakfasts and two kids' meals (coffee and water only). For a diner-style spot, that feels on the high side given the overall experience. So while the food--especially the huevos rancheros--really delivers, the lack of flexibility, cleanliness issues, and pricing make this more of a "maybe" than a go-to. I'd come back for the huevos, but with tempered expectations.
